Great vid I need an scx24 to compliment my 1/24 shelf got to have this set up tho wow! this would make indoor crawling at night a joy no more whining at slow speeds, some cheap brushed stuff I have is soo loud when creeping.

I ordered a grey c10 scx 24 two days ago, it wont be here for a week or so and I'm already thinking about ripping it apart! What a hobby!!! Great videos i always enjoy them.

I bought that same truck this weekend. My buddy brought his out when we where running are 1/10 scape trucks and said I need that simple easy to drive in my life.
That's impressive! I have the Fusion in two of my 1/10 crawlers and love how much control they give me. To see the same level of control in the SCX24 is very impressive 👍

Had nitro trucks a while back. Recently RC choppers, then I found the SCX24 as my first crawler. Never had more fun with RC than making obstetrical out of household items and cardboard. Very impressed with the handling out the box, will look to upgrade to the Furitek kit after a few weeks of running it stock. Great vid.

These are cool, especially with these upgrades. I call small vehicles like these "Pack" crawlers. Easy to pack and stash while I'm out and about and crawl when given an opportunity.
The 1/10 scale stuff is more capable but these are just plain fun.
That’s pretty amazing! The low RPM control is awesome.
I used to have 1/10 and 1/24 crawlers, but this looks awesome with so much slow control. If I ever get into crawling again this setup looks the best. I'm sure the big manufacturers will do their own RTRs with similar drivetrains soon.
nah, because companies can charge a premium for parts, whilst avoiding a premium price tag on the stock car. Meaning more people can afford to purchase the stock car, and naturally will sink more money into it to make it better. Its by design
I mean I just got mine yesterday, and I'm already looking at how I can upgrade (spend more.) Even though I purchased the car because it was in my price range. Include these upgrades and its out of my price range. But they'll eventually get my money, over time. I'm not really mad about it, just observing my own behavior and ranting

You don't "need" to cut the ESC mount. Turn the transmission skid backwards so the motor points to the rear and mount the battery on the chassis rails above the servo. This way you can use the stock ESC. I found putting the chassis rail weights on reduces the top-heaviness the motor adds to the truck.

Cool motor and esc upgrade, I guess I will be doing that soon to my already heavily modified scx24 buggy.
I got my Furitek gear here now. It will be going in my C10. ESC Lizard w/Bluetooth and the Komodo motor set. Then I’ll install a EMax servo. 😃

I had one of these... incredible crawling capability, looked awesome, and I sold it :/. The reason I did was bc I got outta the hobby, now I'm into rc cars again and I want one again.

Spectacular! I have every 1/24 crawler I’m aware of and the SCX24 is def the best. I have the Deadbolt, the Jeep and the c10. The deadbolt is the best out of the box. I have an FMS Atlas 6x6 coming tomorrow. I hope we can get a brushless system like this in that! I’ve seen one next to the 1/24 machines and it looks like someone took a 50’s tractor trailer cab (Lori?) and beefed it up for an extreme off roader.
The 6x6 with this set up would be awesome!

I usually set the startup on the lowest setting, and the punch on a higher setting to be able "hop" over or up an obstacle.
Yeah... for lower end control this is the best set up. With the punch higher you get a little too much switchover from start up to running

Dude, that is the coolest crawler upgrade. Love it. I have two of these Deadbolt's in my cart for my son and his friend to play with. Definitely grabbing these little guys along with a couple of these upgrades. I can 3d print new mounts up front to keep from cutting anything. Looks like an awesome project! Thanks for sharing. Weird.. I've been doing some research to upgrade my SCX24 Deadbolt to brushless and now you came out with a video on it. That ESC is going to be the base for the upgrade. Still looking for a brushless motor.
