I just started watching. I had to pause it because I did the Furitek Micro Komodo and Lizard Pro V2 with BT on my "C10" a few weeks ago. The hardest part was getting my hands on the Furitek parts. It is a awesome setup. As someone that got into the SCX 24 just a few months ago the bug has bit. I can't stop messing with the C10 and the Bronco I picked up a couple weeks ago. Thanks to You and some of your fellow RUclipsrs I'm hooked. Thanks bud for the great vids.
I've done the backwards mount cuz my battery in front is the best weight. I had to use plastic drive shafts ive cut. My front is a jeep rear that ive cut down. My rear is a deadbolt read that i cut down
Awesome build, just ordered me the same furitek combo. After watching i noticed the drive shafts looked out of Phase. I could be wrong hard to see it clearly, but if they are it will effect the smooth running of the rig.
If you have the Gladiator the motor fits nicely backwards. Also you could have filed or lathed your metal driveshaft down a bit. I just find it better to keep the ESC tray as it keeps a good forward weight bias.
Just ordered this system for my Deadbolt, the receiver tray is higher on it vs my C I mean K10 lol, but have a feeling it will need to be trimmed too, going with a micro receiver anyway so fitting that won't be a problem.
I wouldn't even worry about what other people say. You know what it said on the packaging and if they were actually do some research they would find that it was indeed called a C10 in 1967. But what do I know, I'm just leaving a comment. Carry on
Thanks bud, I don’t ever get bothered by people correcting me, I enjoy learning when I’ve made a mistake but I enjoy comments like this even more 😄👍🏻 thanks for all the support!
That’s a good one dude, I just thought it was the electric spinning wheel, couldn’t help to laugh when you show that love it use another RC to turn the turntable 😁😁👍👍
I've watched a few videos regarding this set up. I have the Lizard pro ESC on the way and the Motor/Transmission from furitek on deck for my scx24 Bronco. I've heard there were Binding issues with the ESC. Have you encountered any problems relating to that??
I’ve had issues in the past where the ESC would lock up when turning the wheels from left to right back and forth quickly but they have since patched that with software updates, I run 4 of my rigs with the Furitek lizards and they are all solid now 😎🤙🏻
Just curious how many screws are holding the motor and transmission in place trying to set up my rig and realized that of the two screws that scree on the bottom plate only one has something to screw into so there's a total of two screws to hold it in place not sure if I did something wrong. thanks in advance
I have the furitek tegu 3s esc the micro komodo and the motor mount The motor didnt come with a pinion or spur gear and the motor mount didnt come with the motor screws. You know when i can get the pinion gear and do you know the acrew size im gonna need for the motor mount? Thanks for the videos and keep up the good work.
I don’t know the screw size or where you can get a pinion that fits, I would reach out to Furitek directly to see if they can assist with that info or even better, send you the stuff you are missing, it should have come with all that
For trailing no, I would stick with a brushed motor, it’s much cheaper. The brushless upgrade is overkill unless you need super slow crawl control for competition style crawling 😄👍🏻
The smaller one is Brushless so it has its advantages, it has much better modulated slow control but less tourque so depends on what you think is better for your vehicle 😄👍🏻
Omg your kitty has the coolest markings! The upgrades won’t ever stop

I’m glad you are enjoying the hobby, the bug bites hard! Lol 🤘🏼😄

I’ve taken it apart a couple times since and I bet that was the issue because I haven’t had issues since 👍🏻
Mine runs so rough
I have an upgrade ECU mount and it fits nice underneath it

Yeah I don’t have the tools to mod the drive shaft but that is a good idea 👍🏻
Don’t have to cut anything with the bronco and a few parts. Made mine happen with 98% no cutting.

Awesome! 😄👍🏻
1:58 you dont remember that you had to take out the tans when you put in the 050 motor?

Your hot racing spur gear is .5 mod vs the stock being. 3 mod

Glad I could make you chuckle 😄👍🏻
im 5 in and so thankful for this video
😄👍🏻
Awesome test

Lay them shocks down to the chassis and could get 60°< no prob

3 screws, two in the bottom and one in the top hold the trans to the skid plate
What are your ESC settings? throttle curves etc.

Yep. Saw it coming. LOL.
well job!
Will the dumborc x4 work with the Scx24 I really need to know fast 🙏
Yes if you install the dumborc receiver in the vehicle. The remote itself won’t work with the stock scx24 ESC though
@@UpperLeftRC ok thank you
My cats too!
Would you recommend this over a 050 brushed motor for trailing?
For trailing no, I would stick with a brushed motor, it’s much cheaper. The brushless upgrade is overkill unless you need super slow crawl control for competition style crawling 😄👍🏻
Is the smaller motor better than the bigger one
The smaller one is Brushless so it has its advantages, it has much better modulated slow control but less tourque so depends on what you think is better for your vehicle 😄👍🏻
Why does the motor spin like that?
It’s an outboard motor, so the case spins on the outside of the coil, on inboard motors the coils spin inside the case
@@UpperLeftRCdoesn’t the spindle usually spin
I googled that and all that came up was boats lol
“Outrunner” motor lol sorry, outboard motors are definitely boat motors 😂
Why so loud? Gears?
Yeah the furitek trans and motor pinion are metal so the mesh makes it run really loud
What chassis is that?
Some cheap eBay carbon fiber chassis I found, didn’t have a brand associated to it
Will it work with the stock esc??
No, you have to run a new ESC with brushless motora
💯💯🔥
It's really a K10 (4wd) 🤫 c10's are two wheel drive! Nice truck dude!! 👍
😂 everyone keeps saying that lol
K10,20,30 started like 1973
