1st tip. Turn the bumper mounts upside down.
2nd tip. Drill your own shock holes and use the longest drive shafts and trim one I do believe. My deadbolt has a longer WB than my gladiator does. By about 10mm
This video is great! Keep making them.
Thanks dude those rock lights work great
Great video. Thanks for the information
Thanks for the bumper idea. My approach was to moved the whole thing inside the body. I drilled away the headlights from the body and attached the bumper to the chassis to be able to open the body without disconnecting the lights. It just required a bit of slightly bent aluminum to move the lights a bit more forward.
Muy inspirador. Gracias por tus consejos!
great video as i just got my scx24 deadbolt
Thanks for the light suggestion.
nice mods for a platform that everyone has done it all already! there were a couple i never considered. if your going to remove the esc casing might as well coat your board with clear nail polish to waterproof it!
Thanks! Yeah that would have been a good one, but at the same time, your servo would still not be water proof. I would have thrown it in if I knew about it.
I wonder if you can attach the lights to the chassis behind the wheel well to avoid having to unplug them every time.
really good vide man
I put the links that came in the box on my yellow jlu, original bottom links go on top, new longer links go on the bottom. Makes the jeep climb way better
Great ideas here my friend!!🤩👍👍

I run c10 upper and lower rear links on the front of my deadbolt. The c10 comes with headlight buckets hidden behind the stickers so you can make headlights with yer l.e.d.'s 🤘y'all have a badass day🤘🥞🤘
use a 1mm drill bit(screws are 1.3mm hex), harbor freight sells a kit with 3 in them
Hello from southeast alaska sweet looking bro
All i did was shave my fenders and got bigger tires and it's a night and day difference in how it performes.
I just changed my servo in my scx24 jeep rubicon and now i have no suspension in the front end.
Is there a fix for this issue.
I have hot racing shocks installed front and back.
New servo mount
Hello I’m new to this hobby and just bought one of these myself, what are some websites to buy parts for it ?
I did as well. I also got the bronco version as a bday gift for my dad. I super excited for them to arrive in the mail.
I'd say amain hobbies has a pretty good selection of weights and aftermarket parts. You can find different electronics just looking through forums and videos through links. If you're having trouble finding mods that will fit your specific model I'd recommend posting it on reddit to see what the folks who also own one have to say.
Ebay.
Injora website for that premium Chinese at a discounted price.
I imagine you've found a good supplier by now but Amazon has an Injora store which sells parts. Injora is a trustworthy brand especially these days as they are taking customer feedback and applying it to new parts.
I don't know about 4, the whole ESC weighs 9 g so to decase this should not have any noticeable influence, removing 1 g (like you say) on a car that weighs about 200-400 (if you have added some weight on the bottom)...
Yeah it’s a small change but it’s the equivalent to buying a 6g brass part to increase weight down low and tons of people do that so I’d say it’s worth it.
@@CrawlDaddy43 it's also a space saver to de-case the esc 🤘🍻🤘
@@forrestcrabbe facts
you might of removed 1 gram by taking plugs off but you also added about that in solder.. just saying
Not scx24s. But trx4m I make a battery mod. No more Traxxas battery
Solder can’t afforder 😞
Who is he talking to?
U my friend. He’s talkin to u
Why are you recording yourself reading a script? I mean, the video is cool and all, but that is so off putting just seeing you reading the script you wrote.
There are certain points I want to hit. If I don’t read from a script it ends up being all over the place. And I know the cameras angle isn’t ideal. Thanks for the feedback
@@CrawlDaddy43 I think it's a good idea but to their point just don't include a video of yourself reading it. Thanks for the video!!!
Boys showing off a fine beard game
Yes I noticed this but NO it did not bother me like others, it was not bad. My advice would be just to look back and forth to the camera while you are recording and when you show yourself working on the parts you should figure out a way to do a top down viewpoint. Great video though!
Lol 😂
