- The judge kicked out a member of the gallery making gestures at Atatiana Jefferson's nephew, Zion Carr during his testimony. Jefferson was shot and killed by former Fort Worth police officer Aaron Dean in Oct. 2019.

Why would u do that??? We don't want anything to cause a mistrial. What a freaking idiot. Does she not know what she did is grounds enough to mess up the whole trial before it begins...she didn't even deny it. The state or defense needs to have a good talking to to ALL witnesses in this case and tell them don't ruin this trial by doing stuff like this
She isn't stupid, She's grieving.
She did it because she knows if Zion told the truth on the stand the officer would never be convicted. He was clearly coached by family members and lawyers to lie and claim that his aunt held the gun down at her side. They later played his interview with a social worker, from 2 hours after the shooting, where he said she was pointing the gun out of the window.
He also told prosecutors that he could see the officer's badge, but lied about it on the witness stand.
It is shameful what the family is doing to this poor kid.
My ex husband is an attorney & unfortunately you can talk to them til your blue in the face & they donnnot listen alot of the time. Everybody thinks they're so smart & they think they know better than the attorneys.
@@johngarry1238 yep. Caught that. You don't lie & expect things to go your way. He has definitely been coached & probably promised more games or whatever if he tells it the way they want him to & not the way it really was. Complete lack of morals- this is what's wrong with our world today.
@@johngarry1238 10 million dollar civil suit at stake. Big part of why. Still no excuse though. Bad adults make bad kids. Too bad for the child he seems like a normal , cheerful kid. Hope his future is bright, and he at least gets a bit of the settlement you know they are going to get.

She probably was a family member. It is crystal clear that he was coached to lie on the stand. His testimony was very different from what he told the social worker, in the video recorded interview, 2 hours after the shooting.
His statement the social worker completely exonerated the officer, so they told him to change it in court.

She was telling him to calm down as he was getting annoyed and tired, nothing else, gesturing is still unacceptable but ya'll need to get facts.
Yall don't even know what gestures she was making SMH again they put a 11 year old who was 8 at the time on the hot seat maybe it was some reassuring gestures you know given that he's a small child.

The day it happened and because of how bad it was he forever know just what it was and didnt need to be coach unless lies are now to be told by him and the fact that the judge caught the girl doing it shame shame shame. If the lady was holding and pointing her gun straight out the window or holding three guns prior to being shot so what if little boy did see the badge outside the window continue to tell truth from start to end bottom line, she was in her own home minding her own business that part never changes. The fact they had this little boy lie and change his story do the family want justice or money

I'm swearing you in as a witness and you will sit out side the court till this is over. WTH That's misusing the powers granted to him. And a misuse of swearing in witnesses when he knows the person never was a witness just to shut them out. Wrong wrong wrong hope the State takes this Judge off the bench for good. @@Hunee- if you can’t rely on their memory 3 years later then the testimony should be garbage (which it was) and the initial interview should hold more weight. Eye witness testimony is garbage anyway. Anyone who knows anything about law knows this
