He did better than any adult that would have had to testify Infront of all those lawyers, court staff, judge, jury and those watching proceedings. His Aunt and Grandma would have been so proud of his testimony. You can tell that he loved his Aunt so very much. It's so sad that he lost such a important, close and involved love one. I pray that he will get counseling so he can continue to pursue his life goals like his Aunt would have watch him grow into a wonderful successful man. May God be with him.

Hidden Treasure ... how rude are you? It's a child in a court room intimidating, which in itself. He's seen a relative (someone) get shot in front of him. There's a lot of trauma and emotions going. He has been questioned for 3yrs, at some point in time, and still having to be a kid; so, asking questioning could become very difficult. When you have to keep on re- living/replaying a tragic experience, it can become frustrating and overwhelming. You must not have any kids and dont how their emotions are handled during a tragic moment or experience. My daughter is going through that right now. We are not coaching her, and we are telling her to stick to her truth even when feeling uncomfortable and intimidated. It's not a good place for a child to be mentally

His face should not have been revealed. And that the defense attorney is trying to confuse him. First of all this poor child's rights were violated when at 8 years old the cops questioned him without him having legal counsel or a guardian present, shortly after he witnessed his aunt dying on the bedroom floor from being shot. My heart aches for him because he has to relive this trauma. His aunt died 2019 and three months later he lost his grandmother. Way too much trauma and almost 3 years later the cop is finally on trial. He needs counseling and I hope his mother gets help because he has kept his emotions bottled up. I just want to give him a big hug.

It's amazing how one would expect a child to remember events directly after a critical incident. Keep in mind that this child was in the comfort of his own home, in his underwear playing video games. Suddenly, his aunt is unjustly shot and killed in front of him. He's then subject to officers running into his home with guns drawn, while yelling "show me your hands!" He was then placed into the back of a police car, where he sat for a short time. Afterwards, he was driven to a police station where he was subject to a barrage of questions. Then he was placed into the custody of strangers for several days. This child's life was upended in an instance due to the incompetence of faulty police work. The child was obviously confused and scared. Total trauma!!Unreal!!!!
