Dubbed actually This is when the performance is live, but then when they release it they record vocals in the studio, take the original vocals and replace them. Some performances may be partially dubbed and some may have vocals from the original studio song too . And lip sync It's when you synchronize your lips with the song being dubbed at the same time, meaning it's not live at any point.It's as if they played the studio version or pre-recorded vocals in some parts or the entire performance and the singer pretend it's live.
