- A new GB News documentary investigates how immigration has transformed Britain. The film features a homeless man who feels betrayed because migrants get free hotels, Reform Party MP Rupert Lowe and Dr David Starkey. GB News's Steven Edginton travels to the country's least-white city, Leicester, and interviews immigrants about their views of Britain. He also speaks to people on the street in Great Yarmouth, which voted for Nigel Farage's Reform Party in the general election.
Immigration has gripped Britain like no other topic in the past year. It sparked riots and protests across the country following the brutal murder of three girls in Southport; it led to the rise of Nigel Farage’s Reform Party and doomed the Conservatives to their greatest defeat in history. Undoubtedly Britain has been transformed by migration. Until the Second World War, Britain was a largely ethnically homogeneous country with a strong national identity and proud culture. In recent decades, the country’s borders were opened to the world and millions have come. Some were doctors and came from other skilled professions; many came from complete poverty and brought their extended families. Leicester, a city where I asked if people were proud to be British, is now the least white city in Britain (just 41% of people identified as such in the latest census).

In 2024 The UKs population increased by 455k to 69 million which is an increase of 455k from 2023, Of which 417k of the 455k total was from net migration meaning that only 38k of the total population increase in the UK was from birth rate within the uk. Nearly 90 percent of the yearly UK population increase is from migration.

There’s a UN paper written in 2001 which goes in to great detail of population replacement in the Western world due to declining birth rates, ageing population etc. Everything they’ve got planned for us is hidden in plain sight.

What is this Indian American academic on about at the end of this video when he says immigrants have made modern Britain? Britain and it's inventors and pioneers had already created most of the modern world with other White Europeans creating the rest, this was well before the time of mass immigration into Britain and the rest of Europe it was when Britain still has a more or less 100% White indigenous population.

I spent the bulk of my childhood, from 7 to 17, in the 1970s. It was like a different country back then: social cohesion, shared culture, values and traditions, as well as a sense of homogeneity. You don’t realise the value of these things until they are gone. It makes me weep to see how things are now.

I was one of a minority white passenger bus occupancy recently in my smallish English town for the first time. The town centre is now festooned with Eastern supermarkets and Turkish barbers.

I’m from Leicester myself and it’s far from this multiculturalism haven where everyone gets along 😂 some people I swear wear blinkers all day long. I could go on but you can get in trouble these days for saying a few things that may hurt people’s feelings. What a time to be alive!
only my opinion but perhaps locals should, if possible, try to find out if any local businesses are using unregistered labour (supporting cruel people traffickers) although not sure how, perhaps trade associations not sure how resturant staff could be checked, & boycott those businesses .

Was in Amber Mile back in 2014. Apart from the poor British architecture and awful British weather it was all Southern Indian. The food was good, and the people were friendly.

I grew up in probably as homogenous a community as it is possible to come from, the Unionist community in N.Ireland & yet in the space of less 20 years my home City of Belfast has went from 0-10% foreign. It is so unsettling & very difficult for many over here to accept. I have nothing but sympathy & solidarity with my peers in England who have had to put up with this treachery for so much longer than us & have already lost so much more..
I was born Oxford England 🏴 in 1954. I agree I used to be proud to be British 🇬🇧. Sadly our country is now a soft touch. Our government are weak and not looking after my country for my family
