Sweden is not high trust society but society based on myth based propaganda, yes population trust the myth and do as told by state without rational thinking, that does not apply to immigrants that is true and there is a push back. the problem is the state interests in contrast with multiculturalism as it is harder to impose myth based propaganda on diverse society, so from the start the attempt was to have multi skin colored society but not multicultural one by using soft power tools either by isolate them or erase what they are, not interact with them effect them and get effected by them because for a narcissist difference is scary. And that failed, what would not fail is accepting real word facts of divers thoughts and way of living and its harder and harder to impose homogeneous obedient society by playing on thier ego and challenges to stupid ideas would always happened in addition to many many narcissistic injury you would suffer to actually grow, learn to live with it or destroy the airplanes, shut down satellites, internet and live in your own happy narcissistic bubble in which you are happy with the myth that you are gods and goddesses.

I have been travelling to Sweden since 1980. After staying for 5 years, I left Sweden in 1992 to Switzerland, taking a lot of things from Sweden that enriched my life.
I can speak reasonable Swedish, can read and write Swedish well.
The first thing I noticed in Sweden was placards by the side of the main roads saying,
    "TA HÄNSYN TILL ALLA"
    (Consider everybody)
and it says a lot about a country.
During my stay in Sweden, I met a lot of people from different sections of society. I also met people who didn't want immigrants in Sweden. As far as my life is concerned, it was enriched by the Swedish values, and I am now 77 years old and still happy that I had an opportunity to know Sweden.
What the Jordanian couple said to Göran is very true. Also the muslim part of the immigrants in Malmö in the discussions. I don't know any Muslim country that can understand Western culture.
I have spent 12 years travelling from Iran, Turkiye, to Yemen, including Egypt, Sudan, and Kenya. I came to learn the hypocrisy that exists in the muslim world.
Till July 1992, Sweden was still in a good state. I am now sorry to see the condition there caused by the muslim immigrants.
Not only Sweden, but many Western countries, have exceeded the limits of democracy and humanism and pthe governments have made wrong policy decisions.

Here the interviewer is proposing an argument that as there is no plan for integration these people become desperate economically and they turn to crime. This is a flawed argument because Muslim societies instill a binary of Muslim vs Kaffir and Dhimmis right from childhood. A muslim criminal thinks himself/ herself morally superior than his victim if the victim is a non muslim. It is not a crime in his second layer conscious consciousness to cheat, kill, rob, rape a non muslim , because the latter is a different species altogether which his / her religion permits to be used or slaughtered. There is zero sense of gratitude in the long run among such madarsa taught students for non islamic countries or their non islamic population,.

Pathological Altruism: A concept popularized by a recent book that demonstrates a maladaptive tendency in certain people to help others at the cost of harming themselves. For instance, one might sacrifice his own inclusive fitness to redirect resources to strangers (who are not kin or co-ethnics); e.g. foreign aid, or celebrities and religious fundamentalists adopting babies from around the globe at the expense of their own genetic continuity.

Victims of......Universalism (& Liberal Creationism): Terms used to capture dominant zeitgeist in the Western World where most people seem to believe on blind faith that there are no meaningful differences between racial groups. This creed seems to be be based more in a (secular?) religious desire rather than in reality; Nick Land writes that this view is "entirely lacking in critical self-reflection, is asserted not as a credible social-scientific thesis, or even as a spontaneous popular aspiration, but rather as a religious creed...." Gregory Cochran and others have quipped that many people today seem to think that evolutionary differences between racial groups only occurred from the neck down.

There’s real effort to combat Muslim threats to our Jewish citizens. Lots of foreigners come to Denmark for work and contribute, one fifth of the population in Copenhagen, we’re not a closed society. We also have groups of privileged magic thinkers that never come near having to deal with the effects of their viewpoints, some are politicians running the big cities which is a concern. But they are not supported by most parties in national government or the majority of people. There’s hope. There is no such thing as multiculturalism!
    This term is logically contradictory!
Culture is a set of laws and rules of a particular group
so it cannot be that there are different rules in one group!
We cannot in one society both eat dogs and claim that they are our best friends.
We cannot in one society claim that marriages with 9 year old girls are normal and at the same time condemn them etc.

    • @EllaGreenn
      @EllaGreenn Месяц назад +17

It seems to be possible if you watch what Starmer is doing in the UK. It requires multiple tiers of citizens and rules.
It reminds me of a toxic family, where blame and punishment are totally random and different for each child. Some are always forgiven for the most heinous behavior, others are harshly punished for just looking at a parent 'wrong'.
Multiple sets of rules within 1 family or within 1 society is possible... But it's not healthy. Nobody develops their true potential, everybody is unhappy and hypervigilant.
I agree with your comment, there's no such thing and working against that logic harms everybody involved.

From Moscow. May be it sounds strange for Westerners, but here we start to have the same problem. Russia is not a welfare state, but it provides a good opportunity to earn money in low-skilled sectors, so we have a great influx of people from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan etc. Every day I see women in hijabs, every year their kids make bigger and bigger share of schoolchildren. Here this issue is aggravated by domestically muslim regions and stupid policy of the authority. Chechnya is a literally medieval state inside Russia where Russian legislation doesn’t work. And it’s chieftain has the exterritorial power when it comes to Chechens and position himself like a “defender of muslims and their rights”, promotes mosques construction in Moscow etc.

So true. In Malmö 37% of the population is born abroad and it is like coming to another country going there, and I don't mean just the suburbs. I see hijab everywhere and also burqa/niqab which I find an insult to Swedish equality. I have women friends who cannot go shopping clothes at Triangeln shopping mall in the center of Malmö because all the clothes are for muslim women. I also have heard for years from women friends in Malmö who have been spit at by muslim men bacause they are behaving in a none muslim way. I believe the integration in Malmö is soon to be Swedish people being integrating into muslim values. It is never the majority that integrates.
I tell my friends that i think there are too many arabs/muslims in Malmö and they ask me if I've become a racist? That is the end of the discussion.
I went to the north of Sweden this summer and came to Strömsund where I saw some muslim women hanging about outside a local foreign supermarket and I also saw a salafist walking down the road with his red beard and too short trousers. That was weird and I didn't expect that up there. I wonder how he copes wit ramadan in june/july? Or in december/january for that matter. I will present 4 reasons why Islam does not apply for Sweden.
    1. We don't mix religion with politics. That is the norm in Islam and we simply do not do that in Sweden.
    2. As long as I don't see men wear hijab or burqa it is a symbol of female oppression. Women are emancipated in Sweden.
    3. Ramadan is a joke in the northern hemisphere, in June/July as well as in December/January.
    4. We do not have religious calls waking us up at 5 am screaming in a foreign language that God is great. We have church bells ringing on Sundays at 11 am calling for mass.

To your last point: this is already happening in Germany. More and more working class kids and non-muslim immigrants are converting to islam, simply because 80-90 % of their friends are muslim. When kids grow up in this milieu, they are just constantly being confronted with how immoral and soulless western culture allegedly is. They also see how muslims stick together and just naturally want to become a part of the dominating group. Since 2015, we are also seeing more cases of kids being pushed towards the faith more aggressively, simply because certain areas turned majority muslim. Especially muslim kids from moderate families are being guilt-shamed into practicing a more orthodox version of islam. German parents, who can afford it, don't even send their kids to those schools anymore, which shows the class component of the whole issue.

In the US we get immigrants from different cultures such as all the boat people from Vietnam. They came from a hard work culture with good fundamental ethics and fit in very well with diversity that benefited all. In the first few years when they started to drive in California, we had a term DWO (driving while oriental) which noted very low-quality driving skills, but they adapted to our side of the road and driving. However, their stress on education upgraded our school systems as actually learning something in school became the norm. Our children had real competition. All their children learned English at a high rate as we saw young children effectively working as translators for their grandparents. Now they have become a high educated and skilled minority with great additions to our society beyond the excellent food.
Our latino, Indian, Chinese, etc. immigrants are also hard work with strong family cultural values that are net additions to our regions. This is the desired diversity and has helped make California one of the sources of innovation in the world.
However, immigrants from cultures that are intolerant of "others" can't help enrich the society and can destroy a society. The behavior of Islamic immigrants around the world appears problematic as their culture views non-belivers as "them". Several cultures with predatory and parasitic beliefs that "others" don't count are toxic to the society and make "diversity" appears as an insane objective. You just have to be selective about "cultural compatibility" when creating diversity, and the liberal/Woke beliefs that all cultures are equal is nonsense.

Even our Islamic immigrants in the US are ON AVERAGE very good. Either the racial background or social class of your immigrants can make a HUGE difference. (Having said that, you are viewing our Latino immigrants through rose colored glasses; they are very much a mixed bag, and also the second generation seems to have less desirable behavior than the first gen acc. to stats I have seen, and ALL immigrant groups mostly want higher taxes to pay for more govt. services, whereas the long established white population, esp. those like me who are of colonial descent, prefer the opposite. They are NOT assimilating on this core political value!) Also, groups that try to avoid assimilation and are intolerant of outsiders can be, and sometimes are, just as smart, hard working, and family oriented as anyone else, or even more so sometimes. That does not change the fact that we are changing our society in profound and irreversible ways. Furthermore, the younger generation of white Americans is experiencing an identity crisis as their identity and heritage are deliberately downgraded and shunned so that the newcomers can feel more welcome. This is morally wrong. People increasingly feel there is nothing more to being an American than the legal fiction of government citizenship. This is not a recipe for either social harmony or political stability.

@@dallasweaver4061 For Islam, I am only aware of the aggregated statistics, not how it may break down by ethnic group. However, I would be surprised if a majority of our Muslim immigrant population was from pre revolutionary Iran. I think we are just getting the better educated (read: higher IQ) Muslims in general.
As for the Latinos, although the numbers were not as big back then, the second generation problem already existed in the 1990s when PISA scores for US whites were neck and neck with Finland's (IOW, the highest in Europe, and Finland was also the only country in the world to spend as much per student as the US), AND our Latinos did better than the Latinos in any Latin American country, and our Asians did better than the Asians in any Asian country. Africa was not participating, but if it had there is no doubt that US blacks would have outscored blacks from any African country. Yet people were wringing their hands over how bad our schools were in the 1990s, but it was only a reflection of our changing racial composition. Adjusted for that, our schools were doing as well as anyone's.
Now, has our school quality (as opposed to student quality, which is a different issue entirely) gotten dramatically worse during the last 24 years? While I won't rule it out, I haven't seen any objective evidence to support it. There are anecdotal stories, but there were plenty of those in the 1990s too when objectively the schools were doing as good a job as anywhere in the world - yet even then we already had a second generation Latino problem.
If you look at Latin America, it is not a roaring success story, and never has been, in spite of conscious attempts to mimic US policies over the last 200 years. If you look at fifth generation Mexican Americans in New Mexico, they are still underperformers compared to the Anglo population. If you look at the Ellis Island immigrants who came over more than a century ago, although a rising tide of technology and the energy that fuels it has lifted all boats, the relative social position of the average immigrant lineage is the same as it was among their ancestors in Europe. There was no upsurge in class mobility. So basically, if you import the third world, you will become the third world.
Nobody knows how to socially engineer either an ethnic group or a larger society out of mediocrity, and the quality of the schools reflects the quality of the students who enroll in them, not the other way around. This is the uncomfortable reality that few people want to face in the post - WW2 era. Most people, esp. in the West, still want to believe the Enlightenment intellectuals who taught us that all human beings are basically interchangeable parts and that therefore mankind is perfectible through education and other environmental interventions. The evidence just does not support it.

As a Swede, there are so many things to be incredibly proud of! Your openness, your welfare state, your tolerance, your companies, your way of life, your history, and everything that makes you unique. Show it, speak it, be proud!
However, pride also needs to be protected. That, too, must be "safeguarded", and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. In fact, it’s fantastic! And don’t forget, pride is highly contagious! If you are proud of your country, you inspire others to feel the same.
Yes, everything must be done to ensure that people can integrate well. This requires clarity, decisiveness, and strictness. However, if people are given the chance to become part of a proud nation, they will be willing to go to great lengths and genuinely strive to succeed (to integrate). Without visible and outspoken pride in who you are and what you represent, there is no incentive for outsiders to want to become a part of it.

One thing was that he didn't know that Swedish Vikings sailed to now Russia and founded what are now cities - another thing was that he seemed embarrassed that (technically) his ancestors did such things. They were not just tradesmen running around - they created something very lasting of huge value - and he seemed embarrassed. Weird 🙃🤭

Yet, certain people in power will do everything to mute this issue. The correct and appropriate question to ask is: Why?

But I think the story of Jesus is what enabled humility in christianity. Their god, getting cucked out of physicality, then, coping about it. Actually this might be why rape culture is so prevalent, like in Hollywood or the Catholic church for example. Secretly philosophy is greek culture and running the show, a parasite within christianity. I can see why some like the old testament, it has some wisdoms. But so does the 36 Strategies of Ancient China. You want to know why modern China likes Mao? Well, aside from propaganda, it likes Mao because they got out of their perpetual civil wars. Unification. And China is leading with green energy. I'm not really going anywhere else with this thoughtstream unfortunately. The world is a complex thing, I recommend playing Factorio to boost logic.

There is meant to be a moderate view to manage multiculturalism not this extreme left or extreme right and you have to make it work for everyone’s benefit without sacrificing a country’s values. Sweden like all countries is dealing with economic challenges with or without migrants and crimes like domestic violence existed before migrants arrived perhaps mainly among poor Swedes or those with social problems. Sweden like the rest of the world is having to deal with the impact of wars that Europe has benefited from like the oil and minerals so there is a cost to bear. The so called pampering of migrants is in fact one way that is sometimes to used to keep migrants down not really helping them and migrants did not ask for pampering. Blaming migrants for a return to conservative values is strange because there has always been a small conservative group of people in the community even prior to migration. Everyone in the country including migrants want to improve the country without talking about wokeness or right wing extremism after all many Swedes migrate to other countries and those countries have to find a way to deal with those Swedes too.

It is regrettable that his perspective does not incorporate more comprehensive factors, such as the implications of Sweden’s declining population and its role in shaping migration policies and demographic strategies. A broader interdisciplinary approach, integrating demographic trends, labor market demands, and the socio-economic context, would provide a more meaningful and balanced discussion on this complex issue.

The failure of multiculturalism anywhere is predicated on the notion that its real purpose was to make a better society. That's not the case. The whole idea was to create a more divided environment, and it has succeeded everywhere that it has been implemented. Ask yourself what sort of world wide pressure group would wish to ignore the wishes of any incumbent majority to maintain a homogenous stability? Japan has a demographic and ageing issue. What would be best for the next 50 to 100 years? More pointedly, what would be worst?

But when you have one of the wealthiest countries per capita on the planet and you have to maintain a pension system that expects this level of security and wealth, then you need a young and working demographic to pay the bill. No babies, no pension. Japan has the same problem. Sweden cannot economically sustain it's standard of living without it's immigrants nor can they fulfil undesirable jobs. Many can't get on the housing ladder and hence anger towards immigrants has grown.Putting them in 4 star hotels whilst many of our own are queuing in Food Banks annoys many Britons.

When i heard the tone of this video I was intrigued to find out who mcc Brussels were, and found they are funded by the Hungarian government.
If 30% of Swedens birth rate comes from migrant mothers, one wonders how bad the demographic crisis for Sweden would be without them. Western economies have aging populations with declining birth rates reliant upon growth economies for pensions and health care, I wonder how this would be achieved without migration? I think most rational people would accept that migration should also involve integration, and that this has been lacking in most European countries. But it seems that suggesting that a high tax regime and good prisons attract a certain type of migrant, implying that if we take these things away then Swedens problem would be reduced, misses that these were the same conditions that the population thrived in with the lowest crime rates and most equal society in the world. The USA has a very harsh prison system and a higher imprisonment rate than China, but that doesn't seem to have solved their crime problems. The UK taxes are much lower , and yet they still have high migration (ironically higher after leaving the EU). There is definitely a discussion and debate to be had about migration and integration, but this isn't it, this is Viktor Orban's propaganda.
As a British immigrant in Sweden i hope that Swedes realise before it's too late that the path away from their high tax welfare state with high levels of state ownership and trust that we are on ends badly- i know because I've experienced it in the uk, it's sewage in rivers, terrible public services, insecure jobs, poor workers rights and an asset owning elite who pay no social taxes, own the political system, and have rigged the entire country for their own benefit and convinced the population it's what they want. Sweden, don't be a dumb sucker like many of the British population are, fight for the things that actually made your country great. Kom igen Sverige!

In spite of appearances multiculturalism has failed in the US (and the UK) as well. The.US was at it's greatest when it had immigrants of similar cultures and religions, i.e. the English, Scottish, the Germans, Swedes. Problems came with the Catholic immigration of Italians and Irish but they were also integrated eventually successful. It's when the nation quotas (largest for Europeans) were eliminated when the problems began. And of course with the US shameful history of importing slaves The US no longer has any cultural identity. The government, unlike Sweden's, is inefficient and wasteful. Lots of other problems. The US empire is imploding.

The US Federal Government owns ten times more land than the entire nation of Sweden exists on. The entire culture and economy of America revolves around integrating immigrants. Since before even day one of America's existence it has been a culture of immigration. The Immigration culture of America started in 1607, it's 417 years old.

      - you are wrong, very wrong. The vast majority (not least the Swedes!) of Europeans wholeheartedly wanted this.

@@peterwulff469 People will say they want a lot of things when you stick a microphone in their face and ask them an abstract question. That doesn't mean they necessarily really want it once they're exposed to the reality. I remember for two decades Europeans on the internet would mock America as being an intolerant place, and all I could ever think was "These people definitely don't live in a diverse neighborhood."

@@peterwulff469From 1948 in the uk every poll taken was always 80% plus till demographics became a factor recently, the people never wanted immigration but no mainstream political party listened, any party like the national front or bnp were undermined by the states security apparatus, infiltrated , banned and discredited by any means possible. For years we were told yes we will sort this out and stop immigration but politicians did the exact opposite when in power. Only mainstream duopoly was allowed , the people had no choice and were attacked personally or indirectly by threats to their career or family. A tipping point is being reached where numbers are set to flip and we will become a minority and people are increasingly angry about losing their homelands and culture to people who hate them .

It was a mistake to believe somehow you are a better culture if you have diversity. One of the biggest issues is not the cultural differences but the religious differences that often drives those cultural divides and you can’t just sweep those away with co-existence; that simply doesn’t work.

The biggest mistake, not only Sweden has made, was the preference for immigrants from non-European countries over those better educated ones from Europe. Of course it was based on desire to increase the amount of cheapest labour force for lowest paying physical jobs but it did backfire badly. Not only in Sweden. Plus the fact that grassroot gettho-like settlement movement was not prevented bt even promoted, like in France it allowed to create immigrants only dominated areas. In Sweden situation is very fragilenow due to the fact that those areas inhabited almost exclusively by immigrants imported Palestine-Isreali conflict and as a result now witnesses mutual hostilities from organized crime groups on both sides, so now wonder nobody wants an open and rational academic dicussion about problems with immigration and multiculturalism right now in state media or on state universities. Even without such discussion the tensions between these groups of immigrants can get out of hand at any time. Overspill of this problem is already being visible in Finland and despite it's decisive response it is likely to grow in intensity in incoming years.

A lot of multiculturalists pride themselves on their "superior" morality, humbling themselves and their own culture's achievements, belittling their success or criminalizing it so as to appear VIRTUOUS. Be proud of your nation and you are a "fascist." Be humble to the point of disappearing and you are among the holy. It's all hypocritical. A sham morality.

Literally Gentleman is not diving deep at all, I was expecting more detailed answers rather than only giving examples from history or “no-go zones” in Sweden.
