Russ never really bounced back from the terrible circumstances he started out with (i.e. Hackett clearly showing he was in over his head as a HC). Since Russ can't put the team on his back like some QBs can, it was a match doomed to fail in hindsight.

I gotta admint, as a steelers fan, for almost the entire first half, (Jets 15 - 6), had me a bit worried, and it looked like Rodgers was knockin' on the door again, but then Bishop made that interception -for almost a TD, and then Russ and our Offense literally EXPLODED into life. !

Now I am, have been, and always will be a Packers fan, however I've been watching football since 1972-73. I have the utmost respect for the Pittsburgh Steelers organization. They've had some absolutely incredible teams. The Steel Curtain, The Immaculate Reception, and Super Bowl 🏈 after Super Bowl. Terry Bradshaw, Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, Rocky Bleier, LC Greenwood, "Mean" Joe Greene, Jack Lambert, and Coach Chuck Noll. The 70's had some really great players on their teams. I remember watching the Super Bowl 🏈 the Minnesota Vikings versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. 16-6 the Steelers won. I used to like QB Fran Tarkenton, shh don't tell anyone, he was a Vikings player.....lol, and Packers fans are NOT supposed to like any Chicago Bears or Minnesota Vikings players. I'm sure the Steelers fans know about rivalries with the Browns and the Bengals. The NFC & AFC Central Division as they were called back then were the tough Divisions. The Black and Blue Division. Now the NFC & AFC North, they are still the toughest Divisions in the NFL. It's good to see Russell Wilson playing with the Steelers and playing well. He is a great player and I hope he can help you out getting to the playoffs. Take care! Go Packers and Go Steelers!

Same here. The way they played first quarter and into 2nd I thought it was a wrap. After Bishop interception I watched a SB caliber team on the field. Najee just woke up last 2 games.. Wilson has a beautiful long ball and Pickens is otherworldly! Friermuth has been a fav of mine for yrs he just needs more touches. My biggest concern is the schedule after Thanksgiving. It's absolutely brutal. Back to back to back divisional games. If we can stay healthy we can make it deep into playoffs. Hopefully get Pickens some help.
