I miss Troy Polomalu Ray Lewis and Ed Reed in the NFL in the through '08-'11 because the Ravens and Steelers always gonna be a defensive football game best rivalry in the NFL and always will be 💯
To this day I’ve only gone to one ravens-Steelers game since going to this one. There was a war on the field and in the stands in this one 😂😂😂. In terms of that years series, it was 3-0 Steelers but it could have completely gone the other way with how close all three games were. I was 8 that year and it was my first year really watching football and the Ravens, and each loss was more and more soul crushing at the time. Looking back on it now, the Ravens offense was far too young to really beat Pittsburgh (the two defenses were basically just as good as each other). Flacco and Rice were rookies, McClain and Yanda were 2nd year guys. Harbaugh a first year coach as well. Ravens eventually made up for it obviously by winning the super Bowl in 2012. But you notice how 12 years ago this rivalry was high stakes and basically has been that way until 2020, it’s a credit to both organizations: Hall of Fame GMs, Likely Hall of Fame coaches, and not necessarily two Hall of Fame qbs (obviously bens in), but the ravens last two starters at QB are an MVP and a Super Bowl MVP. Interesting to see which one takes the North this year (or if the browns hop in there wouldn’t that be crazy).
I’m a Ravens fan and I hate the Steelers no matter what but the physicality and rivalry is slowly fading away and the browns seems to be a new rivalry in Lamar and Mayfield !! Miss the matchups between Ray and Polamalu and Lewis and Harrison
Don't count your chicken till they hatch everyone thought the high power 15-1 98 viking were going to the Super Bowl and they lost to Atlanta in the NFC Championship, Patriots 07 18-1 lost the Superbowl to the Giants, same happen last year Mahomes this and that and they lost to the Patriots in the AFC Championship just cause they are good in the regular season doesn't mean automatically Superbowl Champs ask Dan Marino, Randy Moss and the times Peyton lost in the playoffs and Superbowl is any given Sunday my friend
So they didn’t have enough evidence to overturn the 1st down call but enough to overturn the call on the field at the end of the game and give a TD?... and before someone responds saying the TD was the right call, I agree, it was a TD. I’m just pointing out the inconsistency with the ref’s criteria even within the same game. The TD was definitely harder to tell that he was in, whereas the 1st down play it was pretty evident that he didn’t reach the mark.
Great rivalry that won’t have 2 hungry teams playing. The Ravens are sitting their starters. The entertainment will be seeing if the Steelers get the wild card.

Did the ravens deserve to get bailed out after that last minute drive where they totally blew it on defense and then Holmes got two feet in the end zone? that’s just all a gift from the refs when y’all didn’t score a single touchdown? Don’t be ridiculous guys this is your year, enjoy it before Lamar gets a career ending injury and joins rg3 on the bench.
11:20 Lawdogs Sack on Flacco right here was HUGE!!
The Steelers defense review kept my mouth open for like 1 minute lol
I miss Troy Polomalu Ray Lewis and Ed Reed in the NFL in the through '08-'11 because the Ravens and Steelers always gonna be a defensive football game best rivalry in the NFL and always will be 💯
*2012
And in 2019 approaching their week 17 game with the Steelers, the ravens are benching their starters
Jacob Barrett it’s a joke and is ruining this rivalry
The refs' spot on in the 2Q 3:24 hilarious
That was not a TD for PIT lmao
Smash-mouth football.
W
these 2000's era games of Pit vs Baltimore are some of the most brutal slugfests I've ever seen.
What a win!
I miss this physical style of nfl football 🥴😒
These days are long gone
1:38 What a beautiful INT...damn.
Except this time it means nothing for Baltimore and everything for Pittsburgh
Yonathan Gonzalez yeah cause Baltimore would smash Steelers now.
@@jaimeponce8873 But Baltimore still cant win a superbowl in nowadays.
@@jaimeponce8873 Steelers just swept Baltimore tf u talking about 🤗
Best rivalry in the NFL
i miss ray lewis and am an eagles fan!
*Ravens, Browns
Super cool action
Super cool show
Imagine Mike T With Ray An Ed 😁😣🔥🔥.... Pre-Game Gone Be So Lit"
I’m a Ravens fan and I hate the Steelers no matter what but the physicality and rivalry is slowly fading away and the browns seems to be a new rivalry in Lamar and Mayfield !! Miss the matchups between Ray and Polamalu and Lewis and Harrison
There will never be another team like the Lewis/Reed Ravens, but it’s refreshing to know that we’re winning the Super Bowl this year.
No patriots are winning.
Ravens fans are the worst bandwagon fans around.
I'm saving this. So can laugh at you
@Ryan Irwin- Diehl Ravens would destroy the Saints.
They don’t make defenses like these anymore
Best game in the rivalry
Flacco is not an NFL-level Qb.
being a browns fan and watching us play these 2 twice a year still haunts me
Ravens and Steelers always have the best low scoring games
This game haunts me to this very day
Great rivalry that won’t have 2 hungry teams playing. The Ravens are sitting their starters. The entertainment will be seeing if the Steelers get the wild card.
This rivalry is not what it used to be.
Oh yeah, a touchdown where the ball doesn't cross the plane. I remember this game.
Ik right Steelers win every time
6-9 in the 4th quarter with 6:35 left Jesus Christ, we’re spoiled in today’s NFL every scores a bunch of points, there’s no more lockdown defenses like these two teams had anymore it kinda sucks
Every time y’all show Ravens vs Steelers on this channel it’s always games that the Steelers won 💀
Hate that about it.
Right this youtube page don't ever show the games where the Ravens beat Pittsburgh only the ones they lost 🤔 starting to this the guy running this page is a steeler homer
Becuz most of the games where the Steelers won it was a good game. Why the fuck does everyone always complain about this. Just relax and watch a throwback
@@acapt3593 no check the record again lol, it won't be a rivalry if only won team wins.
you're right they don’t only show big games from the 2000’s
