- This one's a biggy so grab a cup of tea and if you're in the UK and hating the weather then use this to warm yourself up as well haha.
So I'm now in Thailand and properly exploring by myself. Have now covered over 1000 miles and have been island hopping with the bike (even though there's no vehicle ferries :)

I've ridden bikes since I was 14 , 72 now and I've never understood the mentality that you have to have a large displacement bike to tour. I saw an entire family of father and mother riding double with two of the younger kids and the teenage son on his two stroke 250cc street bike from California which was 2500 miles away! I ran into a biker in Montana that had just ridden up from NM on his Suzuki 500 twin motorcycle that he rode home to Maine! He had painted it with a brush orange and green plus it didn't have a side stand, or center stand. lol He left the keys in it, nobody stole it. About 15 years ago I ran into young guy about 22 on a Honda Transalp motorcycle that had just ridden from the tip of South America to here in NE Al . He was getting out of the Navy so they dropped him and his bike off in SA , how cool is that?
you are the only international bike adventure I know who will return to the UK with a better bike than when he left.

Fantastic! My Honda Wave ( 100cc ) is 12 years young and has now well over 200,000 km on the teller. And loving every centimeter that i rode on it.

500 miles for half worn tyre is OK for the weight your carrying, The grip is higher for a UK spec tyre, But as you would expect the wear rate is higher at around a 1000 miles for a rear
those are pigeons on the cage in the moped, they usually kept as a couple and when you release one of them, in a day or two, the pigeon will actually come back to your house to find their mate, at which point you can imprison them again. they're usually taken far away which is why the cage is in a moped.

Awesome stuff dude. I remember riding on Ko Pan Yang and realized I was late back to see some friends. Ended up launching the Honda moped I'd hired off the top of a hill crest. Impressive air! Impressive mess in my pants too

@@timcollins3484 Don't assume that anyone that gets something wrong is from the USA. Anyway, this comment was from 7 years ago, I was young then. It's important that we all educate those that get things wrong but not in a way that patronises them or furthers some kind of bias we might have.

How do you get those far away camera shots when you're riding? Must take lots of extra work getting the camera back from who ever films

don't use slime in the wheels,it makes a mess,throws the wheel out of balance,get a tubeless tire of best you can find,purchase a professional plugging kit,not the cheap store bought,remove the nail,plug it,the last,large cut,patch it and tube it.
You can not go tubeless on a C90 Dude .The wheel is not suitable .You may be able to put on a tubeless Tyre but you still need a tube .

I went parasailing one time just like that and on the landing, I got stuck in a tree lol. The Fijians thought it was hilarious and honestly, it was. Got to watch them chop me out of the tree with machetes for like 20 minutes as they all laughed about it
