Reminds me of when i was #1 performer on both shifts in my warehouse for 4 months straight by 30-40% productivity i was getting free shit every day clothes food bonuses money towards their merchandise, i got employee of the month twice and a badge to wear that they hadnt awarded anyone in years called the unsung hero, then one day my body gave out and i mentally was not willing to do it anymore after about a year, and my % wasnt where it needed to be, they told me if my % doesnt go back up i was 2 weeks from being canned so i walked out, i bled, borderline foamed at the mouth for that company, i still have a black toenail from someone lowering a pallet onto my foot while i was placing a 160lb waterheater, and all it took was my % dropping for them to completely forget about everything i had ever done for thr company

@@marcz239no he is right, i worked in a workshop for 2 years and in construction for 3 years now, you are just a number to them. Sure they will make you feel special by giving you small gifts and giving you compliments in front of everybody but at the end once you are gonna be broken they will just swap you for the next young guy who is ready to burn himself for them. You did push yourself to the limit raisins the standards as if hard work was normal work an all the old heads knew you wouldnt last long. Now the boss is unhappy because he is losing something he took for granted. (Your performance) People dont like to lose things so be carefull what you give because you cant take it back... its never too good to be at the top or the bottom, you want to be in the sweet Middle.

@@marcz239 You could not be more wrong.
I can't help it if the truth hurts. If you start out giving 110% and you burn out in a year how is that the right way. It is better to give 98% so that each day you can recover and continue for years. I once had a job loading groceries at a distribution plant. There was a man 60 years old that had been working there for almost 40 years. He kept up with the young guys. Each person had to load 20,000 lbs or more each night. He had it right. He did just what he needed to do to get the job done and he was able to do that continually. He didn't burn out like a shooting star.

They pave the road in summer yet they think about not paving in winter. Summers the most busiest time.

That's because roads can only be paved to a certain point under freezing conditions, that's why here in Canada the majoirty of roadworks are done in the summer.

Some of you don’t realize that they maybe did a 4 inch mill with a coarse load of asphalt going down and the driving surface later. See them do it on the highway all the time. So not the paver operator error it’s what the job entails

These are hard-working men, they’re not soft they work hard. They play hard raise your kids their ballgames they don’t care about taxes or government. They just want to be left alone and raise your babies.
