I guarantee if you told the cop "It's a cardigan, but thanks for noticing." we would have laughed until he peed.
That cop must have seen that movie and 😅 his ass off.

And the Oscar goes to... 😅 Hey thanks Guys my back was suffering by watching you two doing that trip. You should've done the stick together final part.
This is where much of my love of motor sports started. My neighborhood friends and I all made mini bikes, we put probably thousands of miles on them over the years. I can confirm that everything you portrayed in the video are 100% accurate. The tires wore off instantly, chains always loose and the breaks were always dragging the feet. I will say the engines were almost always reliable, out of the thousands of miles out on the dozens of bikes we only had one catastrophic engine failure. Being broke high school kids they were always under maintained, duct taped together and straight up death traps. I wouldn’t trade those memories for the world.

I don't know how the heck I just found this video 2.5 years after it was posted. What an incredible homage to such an amazing film! Hopefully you found the bikini bus at the end!! 🤣
You know, some of the people who drove past you will tell the story of what they saw, and others will refuse to believe them.
Well there's whole video on youtube and they filmed them with phone.

That's part of my fence line at 21:55. You guys stopped outside my house (probably to get that shot) and my giant white dog went nuts. I stepped out to yell at him and saw you guys - did a double-take - and thought it was a weird coincidence until I really started thinking about the details.. so happy to see the finished product. Now I can prove it to all the people I told!
damn! nice front yard!!
That’s awesome
Unrelated but I'd kill to live somewhere that beautiful
Damn thats a nice place, your family must be rich af. well compared to mine lol.
Fix your fence! Lol
THIS is the scene that defined my love for Jim Carrey as a kid and for Jeff Daniels as an adult. Love the reenactment.
Did a 120 mile round trip on a bicycle with a 48 cc motor. Great gas mileage and approaching 40mph on long flats. By the time I got back, the engine was held on by wire I had to scavenge along the way and the back tire was duck taped in places where the tread wore through to the tire tube. I owned a working car at the time, but the challenge of the adventure will live on in memory
That's the highest level of friendship. A uncomfortable, stupid, miserable roadtrip and you guys are still having fun.
Only after watching I realised that wait a minute...they rode 400 miles??!!?? It sure didn't seem like that on the video, because that seems like it would be such an epically horrible, grinding, miserable experience on that thing and the video didn't have a trace of misery, just smiles and awesomeness!
Also reminds us all that , the bikes don't matter as much as the people we meet on them do. Isn't it?
Any of my friends would have either thrown me off a cliff, or just left me somewhere.

Duh, it's the Rockies
"hhhyeaah!.... We're in the Rockies?..."
"im gonna kill you"
"-what"
"im gonna kill you!"

This reminds me of the first motorcycle trip I ever took going from Tacoma, Washington (really Lakewood, Washington) to Bossier City, Louisiana. I was riding a Honda 55/4 chopped out. I remember it being so cold up in those mountains. It was as cold as a well digger's a55. I'll never forget it. I remember I was trying to get some sleep. I was forced to sleep on a wooden slab next to the motorcycle engine in order to keep me warm for what little time I was sleeping. I remember praying a prayer to the effect of "Lord if you let me get out of this alive I will NEVER do anything like this ever again!" So far, I've been able to keep that promise. Oh I was so cold!!! Cold and Grungie!!
Must've been some good views on the way, the roads suck out here in Shreveport bossier though 😂
The scooter scene is so iconic. There's just something about it that hearkens back to the pioneer days and westward expansion. It's the great American adventure played out in a comedy. I think that's part of the reason the movie resonated with so many people.
Now this is what true RUclips content should look like! not people doing dumb 10 second skits
Straight up dedication here!
With loud repetive music, and two 10 sec ads!!
RIGHT!! You should do dumb 30 minute skits! (Kidding, I love this)
Well one takes weeks and one takes 2 minutes.. Time is money. Most youtubers try to stick with a schedule, 2 or 3 times a week to keep viewers entertained and coming back. That seems to be the most successful way to keep and grow and audience, unless you go big and do something crazy once a month like Mark Rober, but even then he isn't getting as many monthly views as some of the RUclipsrs posting once or multiple times a week, thats why he sells his classes to help offset the money lost.
That’s the beauty of RUclips, we can have both and so much more. Watch what you enjoy.
The fact you went 400 miles on a minibike to aspen is as hilarious as the movie.
i love watching how positive and optimistic these two hosts are. nothing but good fun and no negative energy. thank yoy
Dumb and Dumber is one of my favorite movies of all time. Couldn't take the smile off of my face watching this. So cool.

It probably don't mean much, since you dont know me, but you guys got my respect. I mean, 400 miles, on a hardtail, with one drum brake, god damn... Not to mention dirt road and the fact there were two guys on a pretty small seat. It is impressive indeed

Absolutely nailed the dumb and dumber vibe from the film, similar scenery/action shots, way you and the bike look, humour, and the way the bike makes you physically look when riding it (especially Lloyd’s riding position) were so spot on- I hope the original cast manage to watch this video and maybe could reach out to you both - brilliant vid guys just brilliant 😂👍🏻🍻👏🏻
