    00:29 🖐 Long unkempt fingernails can be a turnoff for women, but it's an easy fix-trim and clean them.
    01:53 🧴 Poor skin health affects attractiveness; it reflects overall health. Skincare routines, diet, and hydration can help.
    05:37 🚿 Bad hygiene, like bad breath or greasy hair, can be a major turnoff. Basic dental care and showering regularly matter.
    09:06 🤦 Contractive body language, like slouching or crossing arms, can signal insecurity. Open and expansive body language exudes confidence.
    10:59 💪 Neglecting health and fitness reflects poorly on attractiveness and can hint at laziness in other aspects of life.
    13:17 👔 Ill-fitting clothes can detract from appearance; well-fitted attire enhances body shape and boosts confidence.

      @cniht Год назад +19

      Important note on the last one. If you aren't upkeeping the fitness part having 'form fitting' clothing may work to your disadvantage. No one wants to see someone try to cram 10-pounds of stuff into a 5-pound bag as they say.

    Important things: 0:34 First Thing - Long/ Unkempt Fingernails; 1:50 Second Thing - Poor Skin Health; 5:36 Third Thing - Bad Hygiene; 8:52 Fourth Thing - Contractive Body Language; 10:06 Proper body language; 10:51 Fifth Thing - Neglecting Your Health / Fitness; 13:03 Sixth Thing - Ill - Fitting Clothing; and 14:23 to summarize all the told here.
    Well some the things we could like to know a bit earlier as well. But I always say this: "It's better ever, than never." By that I mean to that things to be told when ever are needed as well.
    As for acnes Courtney, I might add, that this is a normal period of having them, cause that's the time period when we are starting to develop from child to teenager, and from teenager, to adult. I can't deny that can be a problem, but with appropriate skin, and health care, they can be removed.
    As for symmetrical body, that's a mission impossible. Why? Because by medicine (and some of the doctors can correct me if I'm wrong), there is such a thing called asymmetrical body. And that's not with whole body, but with some things there, and as I said, doctors can correct me if I'm wrong.
    I might add that choosing your clothes also means that you just don't look good and fitted, but it means that you don't use materials that are bad for our health. It goes without saying that tight clothes are not taken.
    The additional things to your unattractive physical features are these: Sixth Thing - Doing Too Much Plastic Surgery (but that can be applied to either men, and either women) (and also by that I don't mean on doing medical corrections. I mean on corrections for doing thigs, just to be done such as copy - paste thing, let say it that way); Seventh Thing - Seeking Perfectionism (but this would be also psychological unattractiveness).
    If we are going to summarize all the told the most unattractive things is not taking care of yourself. By that is to take care of your health, hygiene (We in Balkan peninsula say this: "Cleanliness is half of health."), to know to put boundaries to someone's bad behavior (to know to say word NO when it's needed).
    Thank you Courtney ❤💙🤍.

    Everything you've said in this video makes so much sense, much of which I knew already but It's good to hear it coming from a young lady such as yourself. Interesting to hear that you experienced psoriasis in the past.
    I also suffer with psoriasis flare ups and know how challenging it can be to look after your skin and as you mention there are many things we can do to improve our skin, such as good hydration, plenty of sleep, reduce or cut out alcohol consumption, moisturise etc.
    I am now focusing on the nutrition side of things and I'm curious to know if you follow a strict diet when it comes to keeping psoriasis at bay i.e. dairy free, gluten free?
    I've seen a few nutritional videos that target psoriasis but they seem much to my discouragement very restrictive and suggestions that include cutting out potatoes and tomatoes seems a step to far as they are healthy staple foods in my opinion.

    Working out is definitely a regimen that people have to develop early or just be dedicated to doing it, but having a job that requires physical activity and getting hot can wear people out. I hear people calling others lazy because they stay home sedentary when they are off work but they don't understand that it is rest from spending most of the waking time on one's feet and moving.

After a while the psoriasis started to get less intense and the attacks came more and more infrequently. I don’t know what the science say about it but there seems to be a connection between depression and psoriasis. Pretty good advice, as always. I think that folks can realize, that putting 45-60 minutes for care and hygiene is like the easiest form of self-fitness; washing, brushing, and cleaning oneself is as important as the workout we put in the gym and trail. I think of it like buying candles -- Everyone loves the nice smelling ones. They wouldn't want to spend time with anything pungent nor unflattering. So? Even if a person feels they are somehow physically unattractive? Smelling nice has many advantages to appealing toward the opposite sex. Yes folks: Brushing teeth, getting a haircut, washing/scrubbing in a shower, and cleaning those cuticles is arguably 70% of the attractiveness score.

    • @shredd5705
      @shredd5705 Год назад +1

      60 minutes for care and hygiene? For real? Working out (being muscular) is 90% of the attractiveness score (if your face structure which you can't affect is excluded). Yes you should keep clean and not smell bad, but it doesn't take 45-60 minutes per day. 45-60 minutes is the gym workout, the rest should take you 15 minutes at most. People who work out regularly, also shower regularly. After that, all you need is basic things, like using deodorant and brushing your teeth twice a day. If you really spend 60 minutes in front of a mirror like women, lots of women will actually find THAT unattractive and unmanly. They don't want to be the one in a relationship, that spends less time in front of a mirror...

We don't wanna spend a fortune on a gang of different products, each one to do a different thing (lines and wrinkles, under eye bags/dark circles, etc), NOR do we wanna spend any more time than we have to on a grooming regimen. The 6-in-1 Face Cream + Hair/skin/nails gummies from Particle and 👌🏽You're good to go! The moral of the story is to take a proactive approach to taking care of your skin, hair, and nails. Taking care of what's on the outside is only 1/2 the battle. It's just as crucial to be mindful of taking care of it from the inside too. But once you do, you'll be astonished by results! Seriously fast and noticeable. You got this, fam!

      Yes, I live near North Pole and winters are pitch black here, only a few hours of sunlight per day. When I go to work it's dark, when I get off from work it's dark. I have never had any seasonal depression, people here don't really talk about it much, not even women. Because it's our home, it's always been pitch black (on the other hand, in mid-summer, the sun never sets) Hard workouts cure all depression. Don't let the amount of light affect your mindset, just eat enough vitamin D (normally people get it from sunlight), exercise regularly, and you'll be alright

    Something else I will say, is even if you got a little bit of Schomer on your torso, just a little bit of love handles in a little bit, but for the most part, you’ve taken care of yourself, because I do do manual labor for my job, and I do have biceps, I’m just normally too exhausted after work to go work out, and the big thing for me is not eating a whole lot, so I’m have to go into a very big coworker deficit, but my biggest tip of advice to anyone that is not dog. Be tired when I get home or get done doing whatever they’re doing, is to wear clothes that would fit you when you are at your best. It’s a good motivation for me because to me I know I looked Better before, and I can be better. And besides, if it’s not too bad, your shoulders, hopefully will cover up the love handles for you.

    A little preachy, but valid points. I have three things to add...
    1. Even if you do practice good hygiene otherwise, please watch the cologne and perfume. Some of those products stink every bit as bad if not worse than body odor, especially the musky colognes designed for men. Some women can be just as bad when it comes to their perfumes. Just, don't...
    2. As far as clothes, DO NOT wear horizontal stripes EVER! NEVER EVER! ESPECIALLY if you are overweight. They make you look shorter, they enhance your weight issues, and they generally make you look like a derp. Horizontal stripes are fine if you are a French mime or the Hamburglar, but for everybody else, fashion wise it's the equivalent of capital murder!
    3. Water seeks its own level. These rules apply to women just as much to guys. In the case of women however, instead of long unkempt nails as with men, it's what I've heard referred to as "cat nails". Very long, sharp nails usually in bright colors. No thank you! Also realize that just because you don't have a gym membership doesn't mean you're undateable... far from it. What it does mean though is you'll get along best with people who are on about the same level you are.

Now a days I like my teeth, and have actually got a compliment once or twice on them. The point I'm making is that sometimes what you perceive as a minus could actually be a plus depending on how you feel about it.

    Tip one is legit. LOL No one wants an Edward Scissorhands downstairs - which means when you do clip your nails - use a file so they don't remain sharp.
    Probably the one I struggle with the most would be being fit. Working an office job really works against you, especially if you end up putting in long hours and you still have family duties. Even so, I'm trying to get back into the gym with my daughter so we can be in better shape for long term health and I want to be in shape for ski season.
    On a related note, I'm pretty guilty of prioritizing comfort over looking good so I tend to wear a size up than what I probably should wear. Normally this isn't a big deal. But, my wife really prefers it when I wear clothes that properly fit me when we go out on dinner dates together. I also have to match her level of attire - so if she looks nicer, I have to make more of an effort to match. Granted, no one cares what a middle-aged married couple looks like at Applebees.
