My gay friends are emotionally intelligent and have amazing understanding of the depth of my emotions and I of theirs. I think a lot of societies and cultures prevent straight men from feeling a full array of emotions, or at least displaying these emotions. An unfortunate side effect of this is emotional stunting. I’m not so bold to say that every straight man is unable to communicate their feelings, that’s definitely not true; but that has been most of my experience with straight men. I’ve had a few exceptions to this observation.

I think the desire to have sex with as many partners as possible is more of a male trait.
From what I've heard, male and female DNA is slightly different in that both our inherent goals are to procreate. Apparently for women this inspires the desire to find the strongest mate whilst it men, it is inspired to have as many partners as possible (giving us the best chance of our seed surviving).
Certainly this is one of the reasons men seem to prefer porn. Apparently it's the constant variety that triggers our mindset.
But yep, I've known many woman who have a strong sex drive but they still seem to prefer to keep that in the confines of relationships if not always long term.

    Dr Sarah Hill is great!
I have found in my psychology profession is that successfully women will choose a man who is more often less successfully. I do not know the exact reason why and this seems to be the case and it is just an assumption but a common theme I see is that these women seem to like submissive men similar to a puppy that do not challenge them.
One other comment I have, I see so many women who choose men based upon looks, get married and have kids. Then they realize that this person is a not a provider. I would say it seems some US ladies have a broken modulation as the doctor has mentioned. I would say that Dr Sarah Hill is saying what most people want in society but the divorce rate says otherwise.
I wanted to share another take on this and there was nothing wrong with what she said.

I have a physical deformity (hidden to the public eye), and I just don't feel that I have ANY value in the "sexual marketplace" with things as they are, the increasing prevalence of porn..men being more "visual", having to fight off lust.. Seriously, I normally love every episode of the show. This particular guest and interview was a complete waste of our time! Basically all you did was make women that are older feel entirely unattractive and hopeless. Confirm what the media and culture everywhere in America tells us every day all day. We're all aware that usually men even when they get older prefer younger women, duh! This was entirely unhelpful and especially coming up on Thanksgiving 😂. why on earth was this a useful interview? This didn't give us any information we don't already realize.

True. But this interview also clarified that education for girls is not an evolutionary or social advantage - we should be encouraging our daughters to be beautiful, not intelligent, to be successful. Everything you've been told about men being more than their sex drive is a lie.

Although a man can be equally attracted to a CEO female or a Burger King worker it's the CEO female that is more selective in her male counterpart. As far a women being more competitive against each other for men, those women are willing to lower their values and have more casual sex to please what the men want is only directed to a particular group of man/men. You can't group men into a sub group of the top 10% that all women want when 90% of men are invisible to women especially college educated women that feel superior to non college educated men. Science has also shown that women are more horny during ovulation as this is normal biology so women are more likely to do a casual hook up with someone they are attracted to just to satisfy that impulsive need. High value men do NOT seek women that are promiscuous for long term partners.

@7:35 feminists absolutely losing their shit at this 🤣it begs the question for working class woman, should they go into insane debt for college (which is unlikely to get them into the upper classes) or spend considerably less on just being stereo typically beautiful and landing a tech ceo, pro sports player, banker etc? The answer is do both. I remember there was a documentary on BBL surgeries in Miami. One of the woman interviewed was open about the fact after she had the surgery, she was now dating NFL players which was the goal for her.
This also explains the explosion of 21 yr old female DJs on youtube.

This whole thing young females vs. older females and the comparison of their value to each other starts to look a whole lot like a propaganda to me.... sure for sex a younger female will be more pleasing to the eye but in terms to smarts experience, other important things in life a well rounded 35-40-50 years old woman can bring an uncomperable amount of value add to the life of a family ... its not all about sex after all... there are money matters, child reasing and education, managing different bad periods and crisis in life, advice, support..
    I can go on endlessly...
Just dont seem to get this subject and obsession with age
And if we talk just sex... that goes for 20 something men as well that they are more attractive, more fertile, and enduring ... its just exactly the same as with women
