Ok Polo, the next Coheed song you do MUST BE “In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3”. I don’t care what other comments are recommending, this song is F’n amazing and showcases C&C’s entire band, especially the lead singers pipes and the awesome groove. You won’t be disappointed dude.
For the record, you should want us to all be recommending other songs so we and he can hear as much C&C as possible. If we all recommend In Keeping Secrets, the train ends there.

I love watching new people come into the Coheed family. You can listen to all of their music on repeat forever but you never really get the full effect until you see them live. I’ve been fortunate enough to see them half a dozen times and they are by far the best live act I’ve seen. The production, energy and execution is always on point.
Atlas is a must from this band, it's about his little boy his only child at the time, and there is a live version from his kitchen that will give you the chills!

YES. I love this band and this was my exposure song to them... Since then I've seen them live 3 times, gotten several shirts, and enjoyed all the albums I've found. They have so many good songs, and most tell their own story...
other good songs- 'dark side of me', 'the running free', 'you got spirit, kid', 'here to mars'... I tried to mention tracks that I didn't already see all over the comments.
Honestly this band did NOT show who they are in the intro, they are very broad. A song I think you'd love since you liked the pace of this one is Dark Sentencer. Its structured closer to this one with the same drive
fun fact coheed and cambria are the names of characters from the bands lead singers comics he makes called the Amory wars !!! majority of the albums are the stories of those comics
Had the pleasure of seeing these guys a few times back in the day. Once opening for Metallica and twice headlining. The gang vocals hit so hard when the whole crowd sings along. Great performers. Wonderful act. For a next track I would recommend The Suffering. It's a tremendous pop track from the same album as this track. Great reaction man love the channel.
I never like the single edit (this version of the song) because I heard it after I'd listened to the album, and the cuts always catch me off guard. With Coheed you can either go two ways - their more rock/pop stuff and their more proggy stuff. This song is a really amazing mix of the two (which is probably why it's so popular) If you wanted something more bouncy you should check out The Suffering - it's so much fun. If you want to hear them do epic storytelling with a huge payoff you should check out In Keeping Secrets on Silent Earth (the song from the album of the same name - it's the song that got me into Coheed) or Gravity's Union from their overlooked double album The Afterman. It has one of the best crescendos to a rock song I've heard.
I'm so glad you finally got to hear this song. You will enjoy this band. All the albums tell a story and even have a comic that goes along with the album.
A lot of their stuff has a bunch of lore woven throughout it. I would love to see you react to "Key Entity Extraction V: Sentry the Defiant." One of my favorites ever!
It seems like I’ve been seeing a lot of these first time reactions in the past year. They started playing in 1995 and I’ve been listening since their second album. They’ve been around for a minute and kind of stayed underground the whole time. Unfortunately! I’m glad more people are finally catching wind!
scrolling through these comments, this is probably a minority opinion, but i've always thought coheed did something as equally impressive as it is rare and put out their best work with their first album - 'second stage turbine blade'. so obviously i'd recommend heading there next; any track really. (though if full album reactions were ever something you've considered, this is certainly a band that would warrant one.)
To fill you in, the first handful of Coheed albums told are a space odyssey story similar to a Star Wars saga,, there were even comics Claudio made to go along with the albums to better understand the story
Okay, I've been a touring musician for 20 years now. The fact that this song came out in 2005 and you're just now listening to it, but you also vibe to it is super conflicting. You definitely should have been a coheed fan for years by now, but the fact you jam to it even still shows me you know good music. It also shows me that more people need to know coheed. How did you not know? Lol. Also, if you REALLY want to know, listen to the entire Second Stage Turbine Blade album. You'll see. It was a whole vibe
In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth 3. It completely showcases who they are as a band. It's one of their most musically epic and musically fantastic song.

They are always high energy, great reaction! My favorite song is Pavilion.
AMAZING! i loved listening to this on the way to class in high school! so many memories ❤
I'm so glad you found Coheed! Welcome to the crazy. Claudio will keep you busy for a while. :D
It seems like I’ve been seeing a lot of these first time reactions in the past year. They started playing in 1995 and I’ve been listening since their second album. They’ve been around for a minute and kind of stayed underground the whole time. Unfortunately! I’m glad more people are finally catching wind!
The dark sentencer is a good one
Check out The Crowing!
Coheed are legends.. The world needs more attention to 1998-2010 emo/screamo/post-hardcore... etc.. this good stuff
Somehow I missed this in my feed. I'm here for all of coheed!
I could totally see Polo behind a drum kit in a metal band really soon. Support Polo. He needs to buy a drum kit.
It's hard to believe this song is almost 20 years old and still gets me hyped! Do here we are juggernaut next!
"Like Jesus played letter, I'll drill through your hands" goes so hard. Also, one of the best instrumentals I've ever heard.
scrolling through these comments, this is probably a minority opinion, but i've always thought coheed did something as equally impressive as it is rare and put out their best work with their first album - 'second stage turbine blade'. so obviously i'd recommend heading there next; any track really.
Seen them twice! Really love your reaction too this song!
"Everyone who plays the guitar has the hair"
Kerry King and Scott Ian would like a word.
so many great songs from CaC
all of these years later this song get me to the point where i wanna start flipping tables... or pull out rock band again...
Shoutout to Will for leading you to them! Dilerium Trigger, No World for Tomorrow, The Dark Sentencer, and Time Consumer are all dope tracks as well!
welcome to ‘The Fence’ my dude 🤘🏻🔥🍻going to see them twice in May for the 7th & 8th time, they’re incredible live 🙌 pick any song, they all slap:
Gravemakers & Gunslingers
Gravity’s Union

An awesome band
I love Coheed

Love this song!
