Your mouse is not speeding across the screen, and clicking on God only knows what. So many of these "How To" videos, especially the "No Audio" ones, are a waste on time. Just because you can make a video...doesn't mean you should. .Thanks so much, and don't change your style of delivery. This is just me........but......I think you SET THE BAR for others to follow if they call themselves an EDUCATOR (definition: One skilled in teaching). You're very clear, understandable, and USER FRIENDLY. As far as I'm concerned ....You Rock the tutorials bro. Thanks again.
Yes you can force a node to be the starting node. This assumes, however, that your object is a polygon where the last line segment joins to the first line segment. Do the following: Select the "Edit paths by nodes tool." Locate the node that you want to be the new starting node and the node that was created before it. Click on the line segment that joins these two nodes. Then on the nodes toolbar, above, click the button to delete the segment and then the button to join the endnodes.
I pressed ctrl + a when selecting two half moons, so it did not work, and then I remembered that you told that it matters which notes you have selected. Thanks for making this great video!

Nice Video, subscription done.. Clear and precise tutorial. As a user of Paint Shop Pro for many years, it's nice to have found a better graphics program for free (Didn't think I would, didn't get on with Gimp) and with so many good tutorials to back it up.

@quilterstitch The only way that I am aware of, for changing the origin of a shape, is to manipulate the shape in some way. For instance, rotating an object will change its origin.

hi, when you do the half circle, click on it again in order to rotate it then you will have the + sign in the middle of the selecting box, take this + sign to the bottom left of the selecting box, then duplicate the half circle, then interpolate, ;)

Very easy to understand , wonder if you could explain the affects button on the toolbar please .I accidentally altered it once then couldn't get my gradients to work.

If you un-group the object first, then you should be able to delete individual lines.
