While I don't have the full mechanical jargon understanding to say how or what, I think they like.... made the item glow transparent, as I just finished playing through this for the first time, and DID actually see some items under the water, so that's my guess as to how it was done. Also to be fair, even if they hadn't, it look almost no extra time to just dive under the water and move the camera around. Overall though, I'm VERY impressed with how this game runs on the Switch, as I flat didn't think they'd be able to pull it back enough to work, and what things they "downgraded" I'm oddly good with, as I find the game looks better imo without all the lighting effects in a lot of places, as I found the original just too dark or over bloomed at times.
So I have Darksiders 1 2 and Genesis on the switch. Now the first one and Genesis in my opinion run really good I haven't tried out dark side of 2 yet. I've been waiting for this one to come out on the switch to complete the set. So my question is since I just acquired a PS4 which version should I ultimately go for because I don't want to buy the game on both platforms?
Depends on how important handheld play is to you. This one doesn't look as nice as the others on the TV but looks perfectly fine handheld. PS4 will definitely look better with comparable loading times. PS4 is roughly on par with the Xbox One version shown in this video.
The fourth game (if it happens) needs to run on an entirely new engine - those loading bits as you’re running somewhere within game on the X1 were a bit painful to see in an otherwise good game.
Why would you buy any third party game on the switch is this not a Nintendo exclusive I wouldn't even get it on Nintendo you pay the same price for the inferior version
I really enjoyed this video and I am happy that you put all the work in to test it out

Just waiting for mine to come in the mail! Thanks for the excellent info!
i smashed that like button
Would love a full review of this once you get a chance to play it fully
Till this day XCX shames all these lazy devs.

Ps4 for quality, switch for portability

Oof, this one is looking rough.
I'm sure the switch resolution was due to file size not hardware capabilities
i really enjoyed the version of XOne in his time, now i do in PC, later this year i hopelly in switch
No real difference other than the 7 GB switch file size compared to maybe 80 GB for ps4 Xbox one
Haha é nítido que a versão do Xbox One é mais detalhado e a iluminação e texturas são melhores . N vou nem citar o Series x .

Because I enjoy playing in bed or when the gf is watching a dumb reality show. Switch comes in clutch.
@@RyNomeansNo until the game is on game pass or steam deck releases
I work 3rd and always use my switch at work
I actually play it as much as my series x
Incase you only have a switch not that hard
