What do y’all think of the tram lines? The moment I started editing the video I felt like they needed a rework. Let me know if you have any better ideas!

I think it would be a nice pedestrian-only route, when you bridge over the river from lititz to the walnutavenue to the soon stadium area.
    Love your Series, x

Ohhhhh, I love the idea of a pedestrian and bike bridge connecting the two. Great thinking Justin

TRAAAAMS! Yes! I hate the trolleys. If they looked more like San Francisco I'd be down, but Bus 2.0 is so ugly. I love the nature reserve idea also! I think it would be cool to add a few of the rock climbing features around the city or some cool attractions along the coast like an aquarium (if that exists). I'm not the biggest fan of transportation videos, but it's cool to see how well it helps with traffic. Please stadiums and campus upgrade in the next video🥰 Maybe that stadium area can be next to a theater or concert venue too to keep the noise pollution centralized. Thanks again for the video! I'm excited for the next one!

There is totally an aquarium and I think you're right - it needs to go along the coast. Great thinking!

Really nice job with the trams. For some reason in my current city. Cims don’t like the trams anymore lol. I don’t know what happened.

    Hi ...
What a journey. Trams actually have one wire only for a reason - the tracks serve has the second wire to close the circuit. Without tracks trolley busses need two wires above which makes collecting power from above a little bit more challenging - and also splitting and merging of different lines. But that is just in reality - in the game we are offered a combination of low bus capacities while building a similar but incompatible infrastructure like tram tracks. Many see that as a combination of negative aspects of busses and trams.
1:01:47 What I see for the future is 1st St and 7th Ave lines merging into the Downtown Horseshoe Line later becoming the Downtown Loop (after extending the downtown grid further West), while 3rd St Line would take the 58:28 Highest Buildings - Stadiums - Underhill route you are describing. Intense stadium traffic is a good match for what is already 59:08 the busiest downtown tram line.
Before the horseshoe merge you need to improve the ridership of 7th Ave line ... 29:27 tram stops are quite far from the campus train station. Maybe adding paths and pedestrian crossings might help. Maybe you need to rethink the terminus situation and run the tram via the avenue high above the train tracks, have a stop there and the then curve into 6,5th Street which would be tram-only - avoiding 6th St with its highway connection. These tracks would currently end with a tram loop - in the future they would continue to create the loop line.
Extended 3rd St tram ... combined with my cable car idea the tram should loop around the block you are zoning 45:46 - with a cable car to Belmont Station on the outside of the block which would offer a more direct route than the 52:12 bus (it can stay - terminating at Underhill Park it has its own purpose; or you terminate it in the South-East of Underhill after intersecting with the tram). A bus loop going both ways with small vehicles might complete Underhill's transit network. This would lead to a few lines converging at the cable car station without building an actual hub.
If you have a similar hub at a park entrance in Lilitz Point, a second cable car Underhill-Lilitz might even work.
As you already have train tracks near the future stadiums a station will probably be built ... you might build station and tram extension in one project with transfers already in mind.
    Tram strategy in general ...
I love how trams are ignoring Central Station but connect to other train and metro stations instead. But watch yourself starting 26:03 - you put down a tram stop before the loop and then just mirror the stop without really caring about the route through the loop (counter-/clockwise? both has advantages and disadvantages) and stops in the loop that define transfer quality. Similar case 26:18 at the other loop. As a viewer this would be easier to follow if tram lines get their colors early ...

JMWZ - you have no idea how much I was hoping you'd give me some feedback. Love the idea of a horseshoe line for the trams on 1st and 7th, ultimately becoming a full loop once we expand further west. Good thinking! And agree, I think the 3rd street line feeds all the way to undersell and the cable car connection is a great idea. I always forget to mess around with cable cars.
I think I am going to spend some time off camera finessing the trams a bit before next espisode - especially because I accidentally converted numerous roads to bridges in Ortera which (I think) is why I was having tram stop issues.

I love trams and being from a Kolkata, I've a very close relationship with Trams too. Love this video, your Tram route looks really awesome, I can see high ridership when your population grows so wait for that.
When I play the game, I usually don't use Trams as it is in the vanilla game and use Clus LRT assets to make a more metro style grade seperated medium to high capacity light rail system. The favourite part of Trams for me is that Tram stations doesn't creates any noise pollution which Train and Metro Stations do so I strictly don't put Metro/Train stations near my residential areas. I extensively use Buses to connect the residential areas with other modes to transit which is usually the Tram based Light Rail using Clus LRT assets which then connects with Train and Metro stations or even transport hubs which has a noise pollution radius.
Awesome build btw ❤️ loved it

I like the trams wish we had them we used to but it got torn up in the 1930s after the electric cable broke after a bad snowstorm I’m from Wisconsin so its very cold in the winter

Great trams !! I don't know if someone already comments about it but some of your tram roads are raised and that's why you can't put stops on it 😉
Really enjoying your CS videos 💪🏼

2:00 - The train station has a pedestrian sky bridge inside, so you don't need to make another one. If you have time, I recommend you go to watch "Biffa plays indie games". He is really good at playing cities skylines.😊😊😊

I dont think the train that goes to litz hill stops at Belmont so the bus to litz point might be good. But I might be wrong and it doesn't matter to much. love the vid as always :)

I think you made the bridges for the trolley busses 1 way so it was bugging out when you were trying to use them.
