My Carly is so good, it can't tell the car battery is.. dead?! And the Carly tech support replied told me:
"However, since the OBD function is not included in the annual license and is provided free of charge, we are afraid that we cannot offer refunds or other benefits."
No joke, it's a scam on an insane scale. "Because OBD is free, they aren't obliged to ANYTHING?"

The guy who owned this junkyard, its actually a pretty amazing tale. He literally had pallets of Mercedes Gull Wings stacked 10 cars high. He would basically buy every crashed Porsche or Mercs he could get his hands on. These are just the left overs and all together its probably still worth over 100 million dollars.

Hats off to "Mr. Wrench Every Day". I'm now 78 and drove a Miura in my younger days. Didn't own it but did drive it. People can't imagine just how "cool" that car was way back then. The only suggestion I would have is if you wind up getting this car...and restoring it...drive it and enjoy it. The time between 30 and 78 goes JUST LIKE THAT! When you look back, you want to remember the things you did and not the things you didn't do. Enjoy your passion and if your passion is CARS, enjoy them. Cars are made to be driven and enjoyed. That's what it's all about.

A good friend of mine had a Muira with a Holman-Moody NASCAR engine in it. He bought it in 1978 from an exotic car dealership in Newport Beach, CA for $5,500. The prior owner was a dentist who blew up the original engine and made the decision to replace the engine with the Holman-Moody engine. Whenever my friend started up the car it sounded like shotguns going off. He used to take it to the Lamborghini meet-ups at Pebble Beach on a regular basis. One interesting thing is that in the early 2000's he was at an exotic car meet up in LA and Jay Leno walked up to him, looked at the car number, and told him that he (Jay) had the original engine (Jay had bought it as part of some deal). Jay offered to sell the engine to him any time he wanted it. My friend eventually sold his Muira sometime around 2007/2008 to a gentleman from Sweden. I do know he got enough for the car that he paid off his house and bought a new Audi R8. Whether the Swedish gentleman bought the engine from Jay is something I don't know, but is maybe something Jay can confirm to Freddy.

YES!!! This car belongs with you. You my friend are like a World Heritage site for rare cars. You allow the world to share the passion, joy, beauty, and journey of these cars. You make available for all of us to share these cars, even if its virtually. If this car goes anywhere else, we the public will lose it forever. They should GIVE you the car as part of a co-marketing effort to promote their contribution to the world of rare cars and, like Valvoline for the P1, receive global publicity (yes, we all know who they are), but working with you is great PR.

I guarantee at least one of those 3 will end up in England at Iain Tyrell’s Workshop. You should look at his channel for loads of Miura, Countach restorations or visit him in one of your next UK trips. He restored the actual Ferrari GT Pininfarina owned by Ferrucio Lamborghini that they fitted the tractor clutch to that started the whole Ferrari/lambo disagreement which lead to him making cars in the first place. Also Harry Metcalfe had his Countach and Espada restored there and has some recent videos of his Lambo factory visit.

Iain is the foremost expert. His drive to meet and interview Dallara is one of the best videos on RUclips. He is one of the VERY few capable of a sympathetic restoration of a Miura.
If it gets in the hands of a RUclipsr, it would be borderline criminal.
