      @@kimopuppy You could save the link to the file and author name as a text data block in the Blend file or even better paste it to a .txt file that's in the same folder as the asset files. I usually have each 3d scan in it's own folder which contains the fbx/obj and the blend file I make as well as a texture folder.

      As for importing them as assets images cannot be assets in Blender. You can have materials using that image/images and the material can be an asset though. I keep all my images organized in category folders and can easily find them that way. I have a video on how my files are organized if you're interested.

    how do i import a .zipfoldre

    • @DanielGrovePhoto
      @DanielGrovePhoto  2 года назад

      You can't. You must extract the files from within it to a normal folder then blender can see the files. I'm assuming the contents are blender friendly filetpyes. I usually drag and drop the contents to a custom made folder for my zip downloads.

  • @H53.
    @H53. 2 года назад

    The problem is that you downloaded them one by one most of the time. I don't want that. For instance, why is there no 3D Warehouse Addon for Blender that downloads models directly into Blender(?).

    • @DanielGrovePhoto

      There are some addons for just that! Sketchfab has their own now. Blender kit is another good one. I'm sure there are various others available.
