Thank you to this channel for uploading this documentary. I didn't think I would see it again as it is no longer available on it's original broadcaster's playlist. The guy (Colin) who filmed and directed this was an absolute star and took very good care of Louis whilst filming. Not forgetting his lovely assistant. I never saw any of the other episodes..I don't think they broadcast them. Maybe they will be shown on here..but thanks again..lovely to see Louis having such a good time.

Different scares some employers. They only see the ‘cant do’ and not the ‘there’s a way that can work’. They see a work place injury potential and not how they can change their industry to be more inclusive. It’s nice to see changes being made by the people it affects! Making the world a better place for people with disabilities is something incredibly important to me as a special needs mummy. This story has really made me so much more positive for my child’s future and changing the world for her! Thankyou xx
I am watching this a second time because my dad was a chef and its hard!! And to seemlessly involve yourself in a real kitchen then hold down the fort alone?? He has got skills and a shit load of courage...my GOD. People just need a chance. God bless the man who sees this. He is a REAL man and an amazing human. I couldnt be more proud of this dam kid.
Actually, he was just being realistic in the current situation. Being a chef, or doing any sort of commercial kitchen work, is incredibly full on, incredibly stressful and fast paced. And let's face it, if you can't reach stuff for whatever reason, it's not going to work for you. There is no time to be moving steps, etc., around. If he opened his own cafe or small restaurant, set up for his height, maybe, but then no full size person could work there with him, and he would have to be the one to say no to hiring them, for kitchen work, that is.
Mary is SO incredibly talented. WOW! She's so right.There really isn't a clothes shop out there for dwarfism. However, that makes her even more incredible. I really hope she can fulfil her dream of being a high end designer for little people. She should go on the Sewing Bee
Her business idea is great, but would she make money? At the beginning of the programme they said approximately 7000 people in the UK had a form of dwarfism. In order to make it a lucrative business she would have to sell online. High street shops aren’t going to make clothing for ladies with dwarfism proportions as they probably wouldn’t make any money. Their body dimensions are different to taller, mainstream individuals.
Calling adult men cute and children of god is a bit patronising. You probably wouldn't say that to most lads his age if they were average height. He is a nice lad though for sure!

I absolutely loved this programme. I want that dress Mary made for herself. Omg it is gorgeous. I'm 5ft and I have trouble finding clothes to fit me. My body is long and my legs are short. I'm not a dwarf but I'm not far off it. I wear leggings because I know I don't have to cut the legs off to fit me, they just gather at my ankles if you know what I mean. I absolutely loved that dress.

ThT " college person" is very abilist and the college made it clear it would be too much work to help Louis to train. His passion means hes gonna be showing his skills and feeding people with something hes passionate about.

People are so mean and judgemental. I dealt with it my entire life due to having dercums disease which causes extreme obesity.
Obese people are constantly made to feel ashamed even without a disease. It's really sad.
