As a little girl, at about 5 years old I was telling my parents that I don't want to be Anna but 'Victor'. I am so thankful my parents just laughed about it and did not take it seriously. Otherwise, they would totally mess up my learning of myself, and I might have serious psychological consequences.

A kind parent will decide when to give their children what they want so they won't be spoiled too much. A sensitive parent will decide how to take their children's concerns or problems and tackle them appropriately.

Please, let children be children. Just because you're the parent, that doesn't mean you get to dictate their life. The child doesn't even know if they want it or not, since the child doesn't have the capacity for that kind of decision. There's a reason why most LGBT members before are adults or young adults.

Even if they were part of the LGBT community, it doesn't matter. They would still be the greatest parents we could've asked for. Hi, I appreciate people sharing their views and I too am not in favour of "pronouns" for kids. However, I think we should still be respectful of others choice of way to live. I don't really see this as abuse per se, but I would be interested to see how these kids develop over time. I think it's sort of worse when the education systems are FORCING parents to accept the pronouns thing when they personally don't agree with that for their own children. I hope that makes sense? That's just how I see the situation personally! When I was pregnant, I found myself called them "her" before I knew their natural sex as it was too early to tell! I had a miscarriage so I never got to find out, but to this very day I think of her as a she. If it was a boy, I obviously would have changed that according to what he or she was!

She's not insane but she's certainly unconventional. She's clearly highly intelligent - in fact she completely outflanked Piers, which was refreshing to see. All she's saying is she's not going to inflict a gender onto her kids based on their biological assigned sex. She wants her kids to 'evolve' in terms of gender indentification. I don't agree with that approach but I respect that she has a right to raise her children any way she sees fit. One could argue that her strategy is a form of child abuse but I don't think it is since all she's doing is 'not inflicting a gender on her kids'. The strong likelihood is that her kids willl evolve as nature intended. Nature occasionally screws up though so maybe they'll not.

Child abuse is starving kids because parents want them to be 'skinny' and
'pretty'. Child abuse is using incorrect pronouns when the child has clearly told you what they prefer. Child abuse oppresses kids and stops them reaching their full potentials. This is raising kids in a family that clearly loves them very much, this is broadening kids horizons so they can explore themselves without fear of abuse and not being taken seriously. I was a tomboy, i grew up saying i wanted to be a boy, and I'd get upset if you called me a little girl, i wanted to be seen as a strong boy. I rejected everything deemed feminine, cut off my hair, wore boys clothes and my friends were mainly boys. However, my family did still remind me i was a girl and thats all good. I'm so glad my family didn't do this with me. Today, i absolutely love everything feminine, pink cutesy and i am addicted to makeup, its like im making up for my lack of interest in feminine things when i was younger. You don't need to do what this individual is doing 🙄

People were mostly kind, but there were a few guys who made it their mission to give me abuse, getting called a shemale and a freak from them wasn't fun. I think I also just tried looking pretty, girly, and I decided it looked better

What's good is that my parents did not interfere with whatever I wanted to be. They just left me to my own devices and gave me the freedom to do whatever I wanted to do.

I was born as a women and I've always been like a tomboy my entire life. I've always played with guys and love doing everything a guy does. Not at all interested in makeup or any girlish things. It did make me question why I am the way I am. Well, I am fortunate to have great parents who made me understand that not everyone is the same and each person is unique. I am now 23 and it wierds me out that people can't accept themselves for who they are and satisfy themselves with ridiculous pronouns. We have women bikers. Just because they are interested in something that a male is usually interested to, does it mean they are too? Absolutely not. Each person is unique and these gender identity concept is just shit. Just accept yourself as a unique individual and move on. There's literally so many other important things in life than this.

My daughter wanted to be a boy when she was 4 since she had 3 older brothers. I just reaffirmed that she is a girl but let her dress as a boy, but her hair stayed long. She also wanted to be a tiger. Kids can't be left to raise themselves. She was a tomboy until about age 11.
My cousin who claimed she is a boy at age 6 grew out of it in less than a year. These parents don’t even give them a second to grow out of it, rather they force the idea that they are in fact the opposite gender of what they were assigned to at birth.

When I was four I was starting to understand gender and gender stereotypes, I'd started to actually understand when people used she/her pronouns for me, and I knew it felt wrong. Even at the age of four I was able to recognize MY feelings regardless of what others told me. Now at the age of sixteen I've come out to identify as non-binary using they/them pronouns. Being able to tell people that i'm non binary helps me make people understand how I feel and how I perceive myself. It helps me feel more like me. And it does hurt every time someone calls me a girl. I'm not, I never was one and i never will be one. These kids are lucky their parents are so inclusive.

I do agree with the fact that this person can’t just force their child to be nonbinary just because they are. A 4 year old can’t make such an important decision that is gonna change their whole life. But let’s not forget that not every lgbtq+ is like this person.
The best thing for a parent to do is listen to their children. Help them navigate life one obstacle at a time. Removing gender identity at birth is effectively adding hurdles in your child's path. If statistically gender issues represent less than a fraction of a percent you have a 99.9% chance of making life harder for your child.

You can agree or disagree with people, but to call them child molesters, especially when most child molesters are men, is asinine and propagandistic.
