The Department for Education was ordered by Rishi Sunak to speed up long-awaited guidance on the subject. It has been working with the office of Kemi Badenoch, the equalities minister.

Exactly what I've been saying all along. By default, any one person will be referred to as either he or she. For example, if I see what appears to be a woman get hit by a car, I'll say "She just got hit by a car." If this woman identifies as non binary and prefers the pronoun "they", I would have no way of knowing unless she told me.
So "non binary" people are always being "misgendered" by default.
If the only way for people to use your preferred pronouns is for you to tell them, then you are complicating communication. Pronouns exist to facilitate communication, not hinder it.
We often hear "it just takes a bit of practice". Why the hell should I practice speaking my native tongue to suit YOUR wishes?!?!!

I once signed up to a group for people with ADHD. It was supposedly a support group, I also have 2 children diagnosed so felt it may be a good resource and networking opportunity. I was asked for my pronouns as part of the introduction of myself (which had to be written in a message board) and I politely declined stating I used 'traditional' pronouns as a male. They gave me a warning, I held my ground, they then kicked me out of the group and banned me. I messaged them asking how was this 'supportive' and 'inclusive' the called me a 'petulant child' . True story

It's 99.99% fad. My friend has a 13 year old daughter who thinks she's a boy. Within one year, there are now 17 kids who identify opposite to birth sex/gender. The school panders to them. They have their own 'space' which they can go to anytime and stay in for as long as they wish. They have their own adult who they go to if they're upset/confused. The teachers are terrified of saying the wrong thing. Other kids treat them like celebrities and oooh and ahh over them. Give me a break

In my experience most trans allies will admit that there are single sex spaces where they don't believe trans women should have access - it might be the obvious ones like sport or prisons. That's all it takes to show that they are trans exclusionary too. Very few people who insist that TWAW actually believe that TW actually are W.

I will never in my life begin a conversation by asking for pronouns. It's exhausting.
Have we forgotten that this is a discussion about children? Too young to drive, buy alcohol, vote or consent. Children whose brains will not be fully formed until their mid twenties.
There is no such thing as a trans child. There are children who have various forms of body dysmorphia, but the established treatment is psychological counselling _only_ until they are cured, or adult and ready to take more invasive treatment.
I had a young 15 year old girl that was attending an all-girls school apply for a Christmas casual position where I work, and in her resume she had preferred pronouns 'they/them'. If they don't think they are female why are they attending an all girls school? We didn't even consider her for the job as these people always come with drama.
That same scenario echoes with many people, always creating drama in the workplace, a very hateful divisive cult.

Nothing to do with sexual identity or orientation. This is gender identity. You cannot change your biological sex, it is impossible for humans. Transgender people suffer from body dysmorphia, so their gender identity does not match their biological sex. They have to socially transition, by adopting the correct pronouns, changing how they dress, perhaps changing their name, taking prescribed hormones, and maybe surgery if necessary, to match the opposite sex that they were born as.
Identity crises are nothing more than mental illnesses so of course it’s confusing. We are appeasing delusions. You only have to look at the person on the right to see it’s a mental illness.
It's always about making the trans community feel safe & comfortable. My daughter has frequently felt unsafe & uncomfortable in school. My daughter doesn't believe that anyone can change gender, she doesn't buy into the pronouns nonsense either. However, she has been bullied into using opposite pronouns because of the aggressive tactics of the trans community & found no support from teachers. They also have forced my daughter to use nonsense pronouns for the 'comfort' of self indulgent, nonsense binary students. She has literally been subjugated & had her speach controlled against her will, her beliefs & Conon sense. She has been threatened & bullied by kids at school because she tried to stand up for her beliefs. She is at a mew school now but the same issues continue. What about the non trans kids feeling safe & comfortable?
It's about bullying people into submission. It has nothing to do with "comfort" or "safety". I highly suggest you look into Waldorf schools (although make sure they haven't been tainted by this, even the best places are being compromised).

Think about it this way, if a person YOU believe is harming their children with delusional beliefs is homeschooling, is that the best thing for those kids? There are crazy, violent, sadistic, manipulative parents. Schools are there for a reason. A good teacher will see the signs of distress and work to help the child. Even without the extreme examples, a home can never be a school in the sense of bonding with peers without the constant parental supervision, which is very much needed on the path towards maturity.
