Well.. pretty much any Model could be a Hero Model now. What a step forward for custom maps.
xXxFlesoxXx not necessarily so, remember the moral of the incredibles? If you make everyone a super then no one will be super! So if they raise the bar for everyone then the bar is still the same.

xXxFlesoxXx but you aren’t wrong, all the models look amaZing (minus the elementals that I’ve seen so far) and a lot could be used in a hero roll!
The trolls where the most overused single model XD so happy they all got their own!!!

Miguel Francesco Hogar they definitely do not, each has its own differences now. Look at the orc skeletons compared to the regular ones for example
SHIELD I was referring to the Reforged trolls sharing each others’ skeletons, not that they reused the skeletons from 2002-2003. Although my wording was terribly generic 😂😂
The old berserker actually looks wa cooler with his smirk
I hope in the map editor they add a checkbox to give any unit a hero glow.
When you look back and see that WarCraft 3 has more units than you ever thinked. That's just amazing how they created this game 17 years ago. LEGENDARY!
@Lalrivunga Hnamte True. Blizzard is one of the best game creating company. Just look at how they created Heroes of the Storm. When it first came out only few heroes have speaking animated portrait and now almost every heroes have that, too. Warcraft 3 is even better back then, they don't need update content to do such thing. I hope this game will inheriting that legacy and make it even better. If they can expand this new graphic to cover WarCraft 1 & 2 that will be great!
If anyone's interested in the tribes as they appear in the WC3 campaign:
(Jungle) Trolls = Darkspear Tribe (of the Darkspear Islands).
Forest Trolls = Leftover tribes of the Amani Empire (Scattered across the Eastern Kingdoms).
Dark Trolls = Shadowtooth Clan (of Mount Hyjal).
Ice Trolls = The Drakkari tribe (of Northrend).
I always had such a fascination of the Trolls.
Everyone was so looking forward to this.

Simply fantastic. The High Priests and the Warlords (mainly the ice one) have all the appearance of a Dungeon chief.
The funny thing is that the Rokhan icon shows his face, but the model has a mask ... Unsolved mystery?

The models look really nice but i hope they'll fix spell animation. It's really stupid how all the spells come from different parts of their body, but not from where it should be ...

Didn't realize the old witch doctor caskets weren't actually 3D. Kinda trippy to look at them while the model moves.

Hmm Rokkan projectile missile animation is still not finish, he shares the same attack animation with the default shadow hunter hero 🤔.

Looking at those models of units reminded me how wrong wow went with their models, look how savage those look! this is amazing, amazing work here. Wow character models look ike they want to be your friend (i hate them.)

what I hope for is mod support, maybe they will make that part of final version, like letting people make custom races and stuff
That's called the World Editor.
There's all kinds of stuff that is possible with the original world editor, and if reforged is also beefing up the world editor, you can expect all kinds of awesome custom games and mods. I mean, someone made a Tekken-esque fighting game using the original WC3 world efitor, for crying out loud.
@@NotARussianDisinfoBotyea I know but I whose thinking more like mod support like for game fallout 4 (example) where we can use new models, sound, texture and making conversion that can be easily install or uninstall and stuff like that, I know we can add new models in maps and all of that, I have made mods for original W3 so I know all about that but giving us open mod support would I think open modding community even more and bring more people to the game

For example i got 2 graphics, 1 integrated 1 nvidia. And somehow it seems reforged dont wanna read my nvidia...

Seriously, each of those old city-builder and RPG custom maps will be a whole functional game if they keep (and improve) the map editor with these new models, the details would satisfy any individual game.

If you can't see the tusks, ears and warpaint, it looks like a regular human throwing axes. Trolls are long, lanky dudes, with a hunchback and LONG arms.
@@ggdk2865 Wrong, the jungle trolls and sand trolls look like that. Ice Trolls, Forest trolls, and dark trolls are nothing of the sort for the most part

I like what they did with them, but why are they TALL ? And not only these trolls... every each of these new models is tall as hell.
They only look like that for now since they aren't compared to other races. However... they are suppose to be tall as hell via lore and night charts that has been released.

Reforged Berserkers look like they're slouching. Old ones have a more battle ready stand pose. Not also a fan of the swirl the Witch Doctor and Vol'Jin make while attacking. A simple swing looks fine enough

I miss their old bottom fangs, not these elephant tusks that they have now. Anyway, I think it's good overall.
In General, the new models are good. Damn but the faces of the old trolls are funny)) and not cool, that left Berserkers hand is not involved in the attack animations

Look at the red on the new models and the old ones. Why? Using paler colors puts less strain on the graphics engine somehow or what? Why could not they use the same vivid colors the models had before? Why everything newever has to be less colorful?
Vol'jin is a Shadow hunter 😣
I know they did it to make it more faithful to the W3 (Witch Doctor) model but it's supposed to be a Shadow Hunter, it's a bit disappointing to see it that way.
