Well he is classified as a building in editor, So Forgotten One is to Faceless ones the same thing as the Harpy nest is to Harpies. ( Technically :D )
I love that the Centaur Sorcerers (or most sorcerers of any kind in fact) have actual staffs now. I always found it weird that they have melee weapons just to cast some ranged fireball.
And they're females.
They have staffs in WoW (vanilla and modern) but they became a sort of shaman
would also be nice if we have unique models for Centaur Deathcaller, Centaur Firecaller, Centaur Marauder, and Centaur Ravager
Fantastic to see that the Centaurs are so diversified now, not to forget tha they raelly dig into the mongolian theme they've got. The Magnataurs look so badass! Sad to see them loose their ham lunches though. The Sasquatch and Wendigoes have a nice unique feel to them, as opposed to before where they were just reskins of the same model. Not a huge fan of the Seagiants with the octopus-hats, it take too much away from the model and makes them look goofy instead of dangerous.
I'm also a bit uneasy about the ogres loosing their "fat guy" image, now they look like they could all be turning into Cho'Gall instead of sumowrestlers.
But overall, great to see the new models have become so detailed, even down to their weapons, it looks amazing and I'll get the game just to look at them in the editor
I wonder if why we don’t see too many centaurs in WoW is because of the utter amount of centaur genocide we committed during Warcraft 3

@@levisamom5069 you are mistaking Sasquatch with Jungle Stalkers, in WC3 they had the same models, now thankfully they are very distinctive

I love the Jungle Stalkers, I never really put much thought into them before but seeing them like more volatile looking fen creepers is nice.
While I do agree that the models don't look like the typical comic blizzard style, I actually like them. They are using the WoW models as base for the design and make them in a higher resolution.
WOW: The Sea Giant (Shark's) could use it as Skin for Stitches in Heroes of the Storm.
Funny you mention that, with HotS dead I have a strong feeling they want their own version of DotA to succeed in Reforged.

Well, the heroes of WC3 are obviously. But it was said that there was a brief appearance of Murky (THE MOST powerful hero of HOTS) and some mention of Hogger and Gamon.
Murky is supposed to be born at the end of the expansion of CATA, and it is implied that Murky is actually the reincarnation of Deathwing himself (And that the Deathwing they are going to put in HOTS is that of Heartstone, or an alternate Deathwing ...
Hogger, well it is possible, taking into account that he is a warrior Gnoll with MANY experience and not for nothing is an Elite. Taking into account that Gnolls can live between 80 and 150 years ...
Of Gamon no idea, it has only been mentioned briefly although if I imagine it appearing briefly when Rexxar goes to look for the Tauren.

Reforged!Jungle Stalkers look more like WoW!Bog Beasts | DC's SwampThing, unlike WC3!models shared with Wendigos and Sasquatches.
Similar to the Naga sorceress, they added bras to harpies.

I mean, as a mod from players, sure... but Blizzard is unlikely to add that themselves. The old god creature was in the Undead campaign of The Frozen Throne, and that's it.

Unfortunately, the original Warcraft models are more thoughtful. Archers at least get arrows out of a quiver, and not stupidly shoot with the same endless arrow

The ogres aren't tubby...they're supposed to be like...fantasy sumo wrestlers, lol...now they're too lean...and the Stonemaul Chieftain looks like a huge red orc.
Apart from that, looking good.
I've not played WoW at all, so it is curious seeing some of the WoW-style changes done to these older things. Especially in regard to things like the giant pauldrons and such that were common style for WoW. Still, it's also kinda cool seeing certain unit styles with their own visible flare instead of basically being a texture swap, if even that. Nerubians are by far the biggest example of this to me, as these are going from Crypt Fiends in armor and basically texture swaps to a visually diverse army of the spider buggers.
My opinion old fat (big belly) Ogre is coolest!

I'm excited when old mods like Dota, FOC, TD, and B vs OP get updated into the new graphics. I hope you can make a side comparison, when the old mods get updated after Reforged launches, for nostalgia sake.

95% of the models look absolutely fantastic. The other 5% are either bugged out or unfinished.
That is a fantastic job by Blizzard. They do, however, need to work on the portraits, sounds (every hit can't sound liks squishing a cockroach) and projectiles (they either come out of the wrong places, look bad like the Nerubian spiderling projectiles, or simply look goofy).
Honestly if everything gets worked on as much as the models, this Reforged game can replace the W4 we never had (up to an extent)!
Finally a bit more gender diversity - I'm not asking for a 50/50 split, but a bit more female representation is a nice change.
I guess it's because of how the spellcasters and ranged centaurs in WoW are usually females

Because male harpies don't exist. Harpies in Warcraft mate by pretty much raping males from other species.
It’s just me or the harpies are very hot now? Used to have no hesitation killing them but now I would rather let them kill me.
