All those years of playing and only now I realise that the Crypt Fiend uses a swarm of spiders as attack pets. I allways thought it would threw some sort of spiderweb-bola-thingies.

Where's my boy Anetheron, the orange Dreadlord with the Orb of Lightning? He was in the last mission of RoC? And Mephistroth, blue one, Orb of Frost?
It seems that they are recolored versions of melee Dreadlord, they do not have they own model in world editor, never had.
Anetheron had a beautiful light blue colour

@@artyomluchkin8904 Thrall (Orgrim's armor) has always been like that, but we can see in the Editor another Thrall model (dismount), who is less colorful.

The common death knight has a different model in game. When you're placing in the editor it uses Arthas' model, but in game it's a chick with an axe.
If you kill and res it the new model will be what you see.

that banshee Sylvanas Windrunner looks like it was portet from the WOW Shadowland expansion, just saying.
Actually that for was first seen in the BFA intro cinematic though it's not a direct port (at least of the BFA version) as it doesn't have the leather and mail armor Sylvanas wears in BFA and Shadowlands intro, while this Sylvanas the bare mid rift and cloth pants of the earlier WoW version.

Anyone know how to get the female death knight in the editor? I get it in-game and her name is displayed on the regular death knight but I can't find it in the editor.

So the Abomination's hook went from being a chain to a floppy long piece of rubber? Also, wtf did they do to the Meat Wagon's projectile? It was the coolest siege machine in the game because it flung bones and meat! Also, could we see the gargoyle's new melee?

Hook's chain is missing texture. Look at the one wrapped around arm. It's clearly work in progress.
There's an option to turn on and off gore, but its not enabled in beta

Aww was hoping they'd include specials for the blue and orange ones from WC3, (the orange one fought with Archamodne in the last campaign mission for NE).
Most of these are great - But I'm not so happy about the Tichondrius one. Old Tichondrius seemed sort of refined and sophisticated in an evil way. New Tichondrius looks like a crazy hobo.

100 % yes. If you take away the graphics, textures etc. and evaluate the design purely, the undeads have poor artistic work. less is more, too many armor and details, but ...

All new bones tentacles from buildings. Can they stop moving so much? And if they are not going to make a bone araucaria it is better that they are not so open.

hey so. i have been asking around since i have been. pretty bad at keeping up with news. but is there some kind of customizing the heroes? like a male and a female death knight? a male and a female demon hunter? using some of all those fancy paladin skins you showed us? things like that. i was basically just wondering if anything like that is in the game.
We received updated World editor just yesterday, So I do not know my way around really. What do you mean by customization? Like changing look, cloths, hairs and such?
I bought the game and I'm excited to play it but side by side I think classic looked better for the most part. Classic seems like it has more character, I don't know maybe it was just an artist creating vs an artist trying to recreate within tight boundaries.
Woah! Acolytes n the Necromancer sounds like these guys got promoted so they get better intimidating costumes, very rad Blizzard and demonic looking too. (**gotta miss those semi-cartoonish ghoul faces though)

Sure we'll see these undead models in Shadowlands, especially the one we never saw much : Gargoyle, destroyers...And also, these buildings ! You can notice that the Lich King Helmet is now represented on the skull of the Damned temple...But is it his helm ? ;)

Hmm some nice remodeling, but I miss those specters animations spinning around some buildings. Meat wagon projectile should have more gore. Kel'Thuzard ghost is too bright blue, should be more spectral. And don't know what to think about female Death Knight, but the fat Dreadlord is nice.

I really hope they change the effects of the heroes when they attack and the way they attack. It should be different from the others.
the studio of making this remaster have a talk last week, i went to there. The director say they cant do any change due to they still using same game engine , which mean everything on programming need to same , atk frame rate animation frame rate(if the attack animation only got 3 frame, they only can do for improvement is graphic improve), even modeling also cant remodel.(they took the old model low poly to improve to high poly). So yeah, dont blame them, blizzard dont want to improve anythings beside graphic. That why blizzard itself dont want to do that, that throw to other studio, because they know how hard it is.

Was actually confused when the Death Knights were named Lady and Duchess
The Default DK is now female and it doesn't seem to give a properly gendered title if you get the Arthas lookalike version so you get a male DK with a female title.

@@Aztonio Maybe, maybe not, these could be the final set of models at launch. Personally I'd love if they added DKs based on the WoW DK model or the Ebon Blade armor(s). Though if it is possible with the engine properly gendered names would be nice too so "lord" or "duke" instead of "lady" or "duchess".

I would have appreciated it if they made efforts with the projectiles. Like with Obsidian statue the energy ball should come from the wands but its coming from the belly or something.

@@MarieAvora No, there is a new generic female DK, but your hero unit models and names are randomized. You can even get campaign character and models randomized. (ala Arthas)

Was Kel'thuzad considered "undead" before Arthas killed him, or is that mislabeled, was never completely sure, I'm referring to his human looking model
From a story standpoint, Kel'thuzad was still alive, like the acolytes, some death knights and necromancers, but for game mechanics they are "undead"; if anything, they may have their souls imprisoned by the Lich King in exchange for power and, in the case of the Cult of the Damned, freedom from the hierarchical structure of Lordaeron.

Well, honestly there is something about the classic Warcraft 3 models that has a charm or maybe it's the fact they are less blurry and not do not melt into environment that I prefer.
That said I absolutely love the fact they've made custom models for all the named characters the UMS potential of which is probably enough for me to look past my previous point

I like how they downgraded the amount of blood in the game called WAR CRAFT.
There is option to turn on and off violence, not working at the moment. Still weird, you should not play WARcraft in first place, if you do not want to see violence.

It is just Arthas model, something somewhere went wrong for me, but he or rather she has correct name.
Look again: all Death Knights have female names, and even the icon is a woman.
This means that the Death Knight in this video uses the model of Arthas, which is a placehoder.
The REAL new Death Knight will likely be female, and the model is not ready yet.
"Duke Ragereaver" was the name in Warcraft III, here it is "Dutchess Ragereaver".
