    Patrice-THANK YOU! My wife has had a strong (horribly sounding) cough about 5 times a day since 2/21 when she had COVID. She is a coffeeholic! I asked her to stop coffee-no more cough! Now she is drinking no-histamine coffee from local roaster. Life is better due to YOU!

      You don't say? Marvelous. Now, thank you for letting me know histamine-free coffee exist. I will try to find some.

    Amazing job, I'm a big fan of yours! I have a question about how you deal with the raised edges when you de-mask stencils? I always struggle to have a perfect clean edge, especially on colours that don't cover so well, leaving bigger raised edges. WHat do you do with the edge? Leave them or try and remove them?

    great vid again Patrice, I have a client with a Hans device to match and was wondering about the foam and velcro but this shows that it can come off easily ( i'd hate to wreck it) I love these vids, feels like I'm watching some of the things I do in the 3rd person! Always great work and well, we have as much snow here in Ottawa as you have in the beginning of the vid! Thx for sharing

      Yeah the snow accumulation is getting pretty annoying around here. Cheers.

    Amazing videos Patrice!
    May I ask you something? Which nozzle size do you use in the spray gun for painting the helmets ? I want to buy one and start learning to paint helmets but I’m not sure which nozzle size to get. Can you help me ?
    Thank you so much for your amazing videos, really inspiring!

    Hello, I really like your work, I'm starting to paint helmets here in Italy, I'm having a lot of trouble finding a computer program to design them, what program do you use?

    • @helmetgurucanada
      @helmetgurucanada  Год назад +1

      I use both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I will try to make a video to explain how I do the designs on the computer soon. Stay tuned.

    Sorry for the late comment. I looked up at the house of kolor website, and I am not sure of few things. Is the paint you are using urethane paint? And what is sg-100 made of? is it a kind of primer? Thanks.

    I have ordered the Mirka Deros 77mm 2,5 DA myself, can't wait to try it out. Do you use the 5,0 or 2,5 DA yourself?

    Patrice, I have painted the helmet and im nearly at the final stage, should I wet sand it with 1500 to flatten all the logos before clear coating?

    • @helmetgurucanada
      @helmetgurucanada  Год назад

      1500 is bit too much. I use 800 grit wet sandpaper. Thank you for your comments. Cheers.

    Hey Patrice, amazing work. I love it. One question what is alternative for removing small rubber parts, maybe masking them or some other solution? Thank you for nice videos.

    When locking your base down with sg100 to protect it, do you need to rescuff the sg100 before start on more paint the next day?

    • @helmetgurucanada
      @helmetgurucanada  Год назад

      Not the next day. If it's been sitting there for more than 48 hours then, youbhave to scuff! Hope It's helpful!

    Coucou, tout d'abord merci pour tes vlogs très enrichissants. Je me permets de t'écrire en français, car il me semble que tu le parles (j'espère que ça ne te dérange pas.) . Sinon, petite question la couche de base de house te kolor sg 100 c'est une couche de vernis ? Ou une couche de base "type peinture" mais transparent ? Merci pour tout.

    • @helmetgurucanada
      @helmetgurucanada  Год назад

      Merci our votre message. Oui en effet le SG-100 estvune base transparente qui sache à l'air sans durcisseur. Plusieurs companies ont un produit similaire dans leur gamme. C'est vraiment un "must" dans le domaine. Ciao.
