    Dude, your works are fantastic and your vices are even better!

    I'm looking forward to seeing how you built your GHL device.

    Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. Your videos are of very high quality. As part of a possible professional reorientation and why not in this area, I start to work. And I learn so much by following your Vlogs. Indeed, it would be a great satisfaction to see projects built by my hands rolling on the French circuits" I can't wait to discover the rest.
    Thanks again for what you do.

    Hi Patrice
    these videos are so informative much better than before ( not that they wasn't good videos before )thanks for sharing these as an amature painter they are brilliant keep doing them PLEASE. i'm sure i'm not the only one that thinks this, i know professional painters don't like to give there processes away but we have a saying in England. "All the gear know idea" so its nice to know were to begin but theirs no beating experience which if you don't pass these things on there will be no more.

    nice vid Patrice, I never thought about using the clear as an activated catalyst for a full white base (usually just use a high solids low VOC pure white here) , It's always good to see how others do the work and how many similarities there are... :) thx for sharing again.

      I use that white base as a basecoat as well, so one less product to keep around. Cheers.

    Nice video Patrice, Thank you for sharing some tips and tools you use. What glue do you use for the rubber eyeport liner and base liner? I have tried loctite but it keeps getting brittle and break off. Also, how do you mix and get the colors right? pantone? thank you

    • @helmetgurucanada
      @helmetgurucanada  Год назад

      Please see my short video on color mixing. As for the glue, I suspect you use too much glue. In this case, less is more. I will cover that in a future video.

    Hey Patrice, really appreciate your efforts to make these videos, they're so informative and well put together. I have a question about the Bell helmets with the air holes. They sometimes have little metal grommets around the holes. Have you found a way to remove these without damaging them? Thanks again from UK.

    • @helmetgurucanada
      @helmetgurucanada  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately I didn't find a way to not damage them. I bought a box of these grommets from Amazon for cheap and replace them. You can even buy some white ones and paint them to match the helmet. Cheers.

      @@helmetgurucanada Hi, thanks for the reply. I'll have a look and see if I can get hold of some int he correct size. They charge about $20 for 12 'official' replacements here in the UK. It's a joke.

    Brilliant vlogs Patrice hate how easy you make it look 😭 regarding keying up between base coat white and starting to lay out fine line tape what steps do you take as I seem to have issues with paint peeling when I pull the tape off. Tried a few ways with red and grey scotch as well as 320 discs but would love to no a permanent solution if possible.
    Also regarding a previous comment would also love to no the computer design process.
    Not asking much but that’s your fault for starting these vlogs 😂

      Try to slow down your paint drying. If you use fast reducer, try standard or slow reducer. Modern paints seem to be very particular about that. I was having adhesion problem as well until I started using slower cleras and slower reducers. Cheers.

    Hi Patrice love the videos, question for you, what tip size do you use on the sata 4400 for the base coat

  • @E9G

    Do you find the solvent eats the insulation foam you used to plug the vent holes? I normally use balled up tape for these vents, but foam would be easier to remove.

    • @helmetgurucanada
      @helmetgurucanada  Год назад +1

      Not at all, the foam stays mostly intact.
