I may have missed it, but how long after the final clear coat on the waterslide do you apply it to the tumbler? I have been waiting a day or two (maybe more) before applying to allow the clear coat to cure but when I cut off the excess or just applying it to the tumbler, it's brittle. Any help is MUCH appreciated! 😁
I love this for rap waterslide. So question, what is causing the lighter splotches on your waterslide in the blue section on top? I have seen this before but I don’t know what it is. Where can I get full wrap images? They are fabulous by the way, thank you
I just want to say how much I enjoyed your video, love how you explain the steps, was really impressed, I’m fairly new to tumblers and haven’t had the best success but I keep going on, also new to cutting machines, I’ve just gotten a silhouette cameo 3, struggling with it, but not giving up with that either. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with us🤗
It might be helpful to plug your turner into a foot pedal switch so you're not needing a hand to turn it off and on. It's also handy if you want to pause the turner in the middle of application to adjust your decal. Have you tried adding a surfactant (Jet-Dry, Dawn, etc.) to the water so that it will sheet to the cup rather than bead up as droplets? Also, how durable are the decals? They're no fun if they scratch off at a touch. Thanks for the tutorial!
Once epoxied they will last as long as the epoxy does, prior to that waterslide is very fragile. I’ve used soapy water when applying large vinyl decals to surfaces but Im not sure how the waterslide paper would react to it. It’s not as durable as vinyl, even left in plain water it breaks down after awhile, especially if clear coat isn’t good. I use mostly white ink transfers now and do a lot of sublimation for full wraps.
Thank you for showing us this technique. I have not seen it done with such detail before, which is so helpful! Thank you also @JC CreatveStudio for sharing the templates!!
Thank you for the video ! I am wanting to order some 30oz fatty Hogg tumblers but I was trying to find out if I could wrap that with a 8.5x11 waterslide ? Or would I need to print larger . TIA !
I’ve never done a 30oz fatty. You’d need to measure circumference and height. Waterslide only comes is A4 size so you may not be able to do a full wrap
Just saw your video… loved it ….I just tried one a coffee mug. Now I see you did it on the tumblers… that’s pretty cool. How long do you wait before you give the tumbler for use? A day or two?
Hi, nice job & very detailed. Where did you get the turner that you have your tumbler on in the end? Where it's rotating your tumbler around once finished.
Yolanda Garcia I know others use an automotive grade sealer but I honestly have never worked with it and can’t be much help. Whatever you use needs to be food grade.
Thank you for this great tutorial! I’m sorry if I missed it, but what did you do to prep your tumbler before adding your water slide? Is this a stainless steel tumbler just painted white? Thanks
I have looked everywhere for these tumblers your using. Where can I find them? It’s Hogg correct? But they are short and beefy looking! Need/want/must have…help
LS DEMON you can use a heat gun you just need to be extremely careful. You don’t want to get your epoxy to hot!! This is just my opinion- but heat guns are better for moving epoxy around. (for beach cups, fire cups, micas, etc. ). instead of a heat gun, I use a torch lighter. They have them at walmart, family dollar, and dollar general for $3. make sure you keep the torch moving and go over your cup very fast.
Hi there, I have been trying to find it without bothering to comment and ask but where can I find or even buy these amazing redbull designs for the water slide? These are amazing and I LOVE redbull! Thank you!
I cannot get my Cricut app to print out the 11x7.375 it keeps saying it’s to large to print :/ how are you printing for this size? I have a 20oz thick straight tumbler and when I print it at A4 the image is to long for the tumbler. Thank you!

So sorry if I missed it but could you tell how you were able to print a full sheet of waterslide? Every time I print, it just prints a smaller square. Thanks!
There must be something gin your print settings or software resizing your art to the page. Make sure none of the scaling options are selected. I select A4 paper and "Do not scale" in my print window.
@@rachelsellars7193 I've started printing some of my waterslides in Microsoft word so that it will let me use the full page. But that's ONLY if I'm not using the cut option on the print and cut. Super nice tumbler Where can I purchase that tumbler Turner?
Is there a special program to use for printing that size? Cricut design space will not print then cut that size
love them…. nice job
Thank you!
Newbie here...thanks so much! Thank you for showing us this technique. Can you tell where to order the type of tumblers you are working with 22 oz

For a laser printer do you still have to spray seal?
I’m not sure, I use inkjet
Did you use clear or white waterslide paper?
What do you look up for your full image wrap. For your flood coat epoxy how much did you mix all together? Great video. thanks
I have some available here: www.giftsbyjc.com/product-category/jccreativestudio/diy_svg_printables/

beautiful work!!! can i substitute something in place of the resin? maybe an acrylic spray of some sort, some other sealer, i can spray on?

I didn't see a link for the waterslide decal transfer paper... Am I over looking it? Great job by the way! I just became a subscriber!

I didn't see what kind of resin/sealer you used and how do you prepare it before applying to tumbler.
If the tumbler is stainless steel (color) can I apply the full wrap waterslide or do I have to coat the tumbler like you did with the white
I think it was a white to start. I saw the white on the website
Your videos are so easy to follow. Quick question, why do you go over the epoxy with the torch? Is it a personal choice?
121conan Thanks! When you put on epoxy it has tiny little bubble. The torch pops them so you have a glasslike finish.

What brand of paper do you use?
Where can you go to be able to print a full size sheet for the water slide
So if it's a little long is it ok to wrap over the top, or does that need to be cut off so the epoxy can get on the top rim for the seal?
Can I ask what printer you use? My printer always makes lines. Your color is amazing!
Go into your printer settings and set it to best quality. It will eliminate those nasty lines.
Looks amazing. You make it look so easy! Great technique x
Thank you so much!
Do You have a tutorial on making the wrap
Okay, I just subbed!!! Thank God I stumbled upon your channel.

I don’t use cricut software so I’m unsure how to help. I print from Illustrator, but you could try Canva possibly to print your design.
Cool, but isnt epoxy kind of toxic to be using on or near food or drink items?
Fully cured epoxy is safe for food/drinking surfaces
Beautiful 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love you videos and nice work can’t wait to try this 🥰🥰
Do you spray krylon on front or back of print
You clear coat the top of your waterslides
Great video 👌
Do you have yo have licenses to sell tumblers and put water slide paper on the tumbler
You need a license to operate any business. If you are making for fun and not selling no license needed.

It all depends where you live. Check with your individual state and county.
@@JCCreativeStudio ok I live in Alabama
That print from the redbull is that sublimation ink and where can you get the paper for the full wrap waterslide?
These were all done with waterslide transfers then epoxy added but I do sublimation ones as well. Same art can be used on either substrate.
