I may have missed it, but how long after the final clear coat on the waterslide do you apply it to the tumbler? I have been waiting a day or two (maybe more) before applying to allow the clear coat to cure but when I cut off the excess or just applying it to the tumbler, it's brittle. Any help is MUCH appreciated! 😁

I love this for rap waterslide. So question, what is causing the lighter splotches on your waterslide in the blue section on top? I have seen this before but I don’t know what it is. Where can I get full wrap images? They are fabulous by the way, thank you

It might be helpful to plug your turner into a foot pedal switch so you're not needing a hand to turn it off and on. It's also handy if you want to pause the turner in the middle of application to adjust your decal.
Have you tried adding a surfactant (Jet-Dry, Dawn, etc.) to the water so that it will sheet to the cup rather than bead up as droplets? Also, how durable are the decals? They're no fun if they scratch off at a touch.

Once epoxied they will last as long as the epoxy does, prior to that waterslide is very fragile. I’ve used soapy water when applying large vinyl decals to surfaces but Im not sure how the waterslide paper would react to it. It’s not as durable as vinyl, even left in plain water it breaks down after awhile, especially if clear coat isn’t good. I use mostly white ink transfers now and do a lot of sublimation for full wraps.
What brand of paper do you use?

Just saw your video… loved it ….I just tried one a coffee mug. Now I see you did it on the tumblers… that’s pretty cool. How long do you wait before you give the tumbler for use? A day or two?

Thank you for the video ! I am wanting to order some 30oz fatty Hogg tumblers but I was trying to find out if I could wrap that with a 8.5x11 waterslide ? Or would I need to print larger . TIA !
I’ve never done a 30oz fatty. You’d need to measure circumference and height. Waterslide only comes is A4 size so you may not be able to do a full wrap
So if it's a little long is it ok to wrap over the top, or does that need to be cut off so the epoxy can get on the top rim for the seal?

Can I just get a uv light and just cure it ?
beautiful work!!! can i substitute something in place of the resin? maybe an acrylic spray of some sort, some other sealer, i can spray on?
Yolanda Garcia I know others use an automotive grade sealer but I honestly have never worked with it and can’t be much help. Whatever you use needs to be food grade.

honey562012 I create all of my designs in Illustrator and Photoshop. There is a template in the group for sizing on the fatty cups if you want to create your own
Your videos are so easy to follow. Quick question, why do you go over the epoxy with the torch? Is it a personal choice?
121conan Thanks! When you put on epoxy it has tiny little bubble. The torch pops them so you have a glasslike finish.

LS DEMON you can use a heat gun you just need to be extremely careful. You don’t want to get your epoxy to hot!! This is just my opinion- but heat guns are better for moving epoxy around. (for beach cups, fire cups, micas, etc. ). instead of a heat gun, I use a torch lighter. They have them at walmart, family dollar, and dollar general for $3. make sure you keep the torch moving and go over your cup very fast.

Fully cured epoxy is safe for food/drinking surfaces

Can I ask what printer you use? My printer always makes lines. Your color is amazing!
Go into your printer settings and set it to best quality. It will eliminate those nasty lines.
I have looked everywhere for these tumblers your using. Where can I find them? It’s Hogg correct? But they are short and beefy looking! Need/want/must have…help

I cannot get my Cricut app to print out the 11x7.375 it keeps saying it’s to large to print :/ how are you printing for this size? I have a 20oz thick straight tumbler and when I print it at A4 the image is to long for the tumbler. Thank you!
I don’t use cricut software so I’m unsure how to help. I print from Illustrator, but you could try Canva possibly to print your design.

I need help please! I made one of these (not your logos, but same cup, a full wrap water slide tumbler and the ends of my water slides would not stay down flat! It ruined my entire mug. Any suggestions (what paper they have success with, tips, etc. from anyone would be so much appreciated!

Definitely. Anything you can create and print can be put onto a waterslide
So I don't understand. I cannot get the prints to size the size I want them. Says my machine is not compatible with that. None of the wraps I have printed cover the cup. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
What software are you printing from? I know folks using Cricut software have issues. Are you using A4 waterslide paper?

You can Google them, change the dimensions to match whatever you're putting them on and print.

You clear coat the top of your waterslides
What do you print from? What kind of program? Cricut doesn’t let us prong that large
I print from Illustrator, but you could try Canva if design space won’t work. It’s a free design app

The only step prior to turner was painting the tumbler white before beginning.

You need a license to operate any business. If you are making for fun and not selling no license needed.

Do you know of any other straight cups. I hate the tapered for full wraps
I use the 22oz Fatty cups or the 20oz skinny cups from Stainless Steele Depot
That print from the redbull is that sublimation ink and where can you get the paper for the full wrap waterslide?
These were all done with waterslide transfers then epoxy added but I do sublimation ones as well. Same art can be used on either substrate.
