This video came at the absolute perfect time for me! I have been struggling all day with a full wrap and I just tried your technique and it worked perfectly the first time! I cut mine after printing because my printer doesn’t like weird sizes, but otherwise, this technique is perfect for me! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this hat! I am definitely going to try this today. I have thrown away three sheets, trying to get the wrap on the traditional way. It was not working at all.
You did awesome! I always remove those little white discs on the bottom. They bug me!! Anyone else? I wish they didn't bug me! Can you show how you trim the overlap, please. Do you do it when wet or almost dry?
Going home to try that one tonight! Last night I did several cups with waterslide and I couldn't believe the difference in how they went on. The ones I mirrored were so much easier to get on. I know exactly which one I'm going to do. I'll post it when I finish!
OMG!!! I cannot wait to try one of these! My husband has wanted me to make one for my bro-in-law and I wasn’t sure the best way to go about it. Thank you so much for sharing this! Have a blessed day!🤗💕
ThNk you for your tutorials. I have watched them here and TikTok. I haven’t had a moment to make a tumbler yet, but your videos have given me guidance to try. ❤ The edging tape you use on your tumblers - where do you find it?
In this case it’s not necessary because it’s just Camo it’ll basically look the same mirrored or not. But if I had an image with words I would definitely mirror it
LOVE THIS!!! I need to try this. I used a template and painted one but it took a long time so I'm excited to try this!! And LOVE Reba and the quote!! Thanks courtney!!!
I love the way the water slide wraps turn out that you have done. Do you have to change your printer over to another type I have been reading about or can you just print that pattern from a normal printer??
I have been struggling with the top and bottom of the cup it just has little bubble spots and idk how to not make those happen lol i will try this method it looks cool!
Hello Courtney. I love watching your videos. I was very excited regarding the information on this video regarding using the print to size app. I do not normally use my phone like you do. I download everything into my computer. I cannot figure out how to take the images that I have downloaded from Etsy, into cricut, and move them into my phone photos so that I can use the app. Is it possible possible for you to explain that?
I cannot wait to try this hack!!! I do have a question, when using the reverse method can you still move the waterslide around to position it once you remove the backing?
I haven't done waterslide but I would like to. Is it necessary to spray paint the tumbler before anything else is done to it? Why do you spray the waterslide paper with the clear coat? Does epoxy have to be used after the waterslide is dry? What about just a partial waterslide picture on an item? Love your videos and hope you can help me.
Hi!! Okay so spray painting gives your tumbler a more textured base (especially if you sand it down first) and if you use glitter, base coating your tumbler is a must. I spray seal the water slide to the ink is locked in place and won’t dissolve when I put the image in water. And yes epoxy is necessary to give your tumbler a glass like protective finish so all of your designs stay permanent. If you don’t like epoxy, there’s an alternative called Crystalac
@@CourtneysCustoms Thank you for your replay. Is Crystalac like a spray or is it a rub on. I'll have to look into that. Thank you so much again. Love your videos!
I have always put it on the same way but I didn't know about the app! I use Silhouette Studio to print so I can print bigger than Cricut design space. Make sure if you have print, MIRROR IT LOL Thank you so very much for the app info!! Love your videos!
Courtney’s Customs Hi again Courtney! Just telling everyone my experience today after watching this tutorial. I went to get the app to download and it was $1.99. Though I’m sure it will be worth it, I can’t do that so, I downloaded “Image resized free” and “Image size” to try them out. They’re free so I don’t lose anything but I’m hoping it will be just as good or at least close lol 🤟❤️😘
Wishing I had watched this before doing my last waterslide lol I HATE doing these~ I'm definitely going to try this~ Hopefully I won't hate it so much~ haha
GENIUS!!! How can I do the full page print just on my Cricut? Like not on my phone. I've been having to print them just thru my computer and I'm not sure if the image is as good. Thanks for the awesome hack!!
Thanks for the hack, now I need to try it. On the print to size app, can you upload pictures straight from your phone’s photo gallery? Right now when my friends send me photos for tumblers I’m having to download them from my phone to my computer then to Cricut.
I can't find the app for print to size on my PC. Is it only available on the phone? Thank you for sharing how you put the wrap on. That is going to help so many people that struggle getting them on!! I've never done one but now going to have to try it. 😁
I tried this hack this morning and although it goes on smoothly and I am able to finally line it up with no issues, the paper backing is still on the wrong side. Like the ink side isnt sticking to the tumbler and the side that would normally go on the tumbler, is filmy looking. I used the Hayes waterslide decal paper for inkjet printers. Please help!
@@CourtneysCustoms yeah, I first sealed it 3 times but the ink was lifting in the water. So I did it 5 times and allowed it to dry longer between coats and the ink stayed put after that. I used Krylon Colormaxx clear, flat crystal clear spray paint. It’s all I had on hand.

So when you do like faces and stuff should u use the mirror effect
Yes absolutely!

Yes!
After sealing how long do you need to wait before you can put it on your cup and put epoxy on? Thanks so much for your tutorials. :)
After sealing the image it takes about 10 minutes to dry! Then I usually wait about 30 minutes to epoxy after putting it on the cup
Do you have a picture of the finished tumbler. I am thinking of doing one for me as a memorial to my husband
