I believe I have the design linked in the description of the video! It was from an Etsy seller who made sublimation wraps, but I printed off on waterslide instead of sublimation paper!
Thank you for the video beautiful work. I have searched Etsy for the sublimation wrap but unable to find it. Would you happen to have the name of the company that provided the sublimation wrap on Etsy?
When applying the waterslide to an epoxied tumbler, can you use micro sol and micro set or will that have some sort of reaction to the epoxy resin that is already on the tumbler?
I'm trying very hard to put a full waterslide wrap on a tumbler. No matter how many times I try to get it on, it's wrinkling some and leaving a few air bubbles. I have tried and tried to get them out to no avail without tearing the waterslide and ruining it. I have sealed it 3 times with Rustoleum two times clear as well as doing a few coats of plastidip. Once I epoxy will it conceal the wrinkles and air bubbles any at all? I'm desperately trying to do this and getting very frustrated. Thank you for any help.
I know this response is delayed, so hopefully you've had some luck since you left this comment! Full wraps can be incredibly tricky for sure, and I've definitely had to restart a few time which is so frustrating and pricey. I've figured out that sealing the waterslide really well with a high quality clear gloss spray, letting it dry for 3-4 hours, and then applying will help it from becoming limp or tacky during the application process. Also, make sure your surface is totally wet and you pull the waterslide off as a whole instead of by a corner. This will keep it from stretching. I hope this helps some!
I use a fabric measuring tape to get the circumference and the height of my tumbler. I used Hayes Waterslide A4 size, then trimmed it down with my paper cutter to be the dimensions of my cup before applying. Most cup sellers provide tumbler dimensions as well so it takes the guess work out of it! Hope this helps!
I go the wrap from an Etsy seller who was selling it as a sublimation wrap, but I just printed it out on waterslide paper instead of sublimation paper. The decal I made myself in cricut design space.
Beautiful tumbler! Mind sharing where you got the design?

Thank you! I found the image on Etsy as a sublimation wrap, but printed on the waterslide instead! I believe I have it linked in the description!
Beautiful! Do you have to wear respirator with that epoxy?
Yes I do!

How do you know what size to print the paper?
