I just knew you'd be watching this. Pretty much how I feel. I like the show, but I don't love it - yet. Are you watching Jellyfish can't swim in the night? I think it's almost Bocchi levels of amazing and had a cute yurilicious moment near the end of last week's episode. Can't wait for what's going to happen tonight. The many sides of voice actor radio could end up nice as well, but i think it's not quite there yet. And just to be sure: YURIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
@@redjoker Please do because I think you are gonna get thrown into the deep end of like a half dozen consecutive videos even without getting to the yuri-curious main cast
Manga reader here, the budget animation really detracts from the experience but I’m still enjoying all other aspects of the production. That said, the manga actually is a better experience even without the music and voice acting, so I recommend reading it. It’s really well paced, and the side ship actually has a more dramatic arc than the main couple that the anime probably won’t get all the way through in just 12 episodes. Himari and Yori are great, but the stuff that happens after what the anime is set to cover is what makes this my favorite yuri.
@@redjoker i have read up to volume 5 of the manga the only real issue with the manga that i had was there was no music which is rather obvious when you think about it
That Jellyfish cant swim anime might hit us like a truck and surpass current confirmed-yuri animes. Since its anime original so we dont know whatll happen but looks yuri to me
@@shtomp i can't say much on that jellyfish can't swim i have it as planned to watch but i have my hands full with the current animes im watching at the moment
I’d say if you like the anime and love the communication and maturity the characters have go and read the manga. The communication and openness is great. I do like the manga but I don’t love it but unlike some people who dropped it at vol 8 I ended up finding whisper me a love song more interesting from vol 8 on. As always it’s subjective if you love or like the manga and hate it or like the change from vol 8. It’s also helps that I do really enjoy the side characters.
@@redjoker For sure, give it a try. I’ve seen your video and another RUclipsr called Glass Reflection talk abt this anime and while there are some ideas and theories that will occur in the manga it does appear that the episodes that came out are giving an impression I didn’t have when reading it so I think the manga will be interesting for the anime watchers.
The reason why the animation suddenly got worse is because the animators are being treated horribly, some mappa type shit. (ALSO READ THE MANGA IF U CAN IT GETS SO GOOOOOODDDD)

Isn't it odd that the ship name YoriHima looks a lot like Yuri Hime? Coincidence? I think not
This show is so good i legitimately get a weeeee bit stiff at the emotional stuff. More than a bit
The next bloom into you 👍👍
But most of the people says this anime is the next Given? Which is a Yaoi anime

I also has read the manga a year ago, and in my opinion the animation style and quality is good and beautiful

I really hope it becomes as great as bloom into you

I absolutely LOVE the manga 😍 I've got high hopes for the anime, but the animation quality sadly certainly isn't Bloom Into You levels.
honestly I might just hop on the manga train
Can always rely on you when it comes to yuri shit
I can literally recommend you so much Yuri anime if you wanted TwT
(But some i think you already watched it, maybe?)
I read the manga till vol8 only 😅 manga is at vol 10 currently.
I have no plan to pick it up again.

The pesudo isekai yuri from last year's winter season... I can't remember the name but RedJoker made a video about it last year.

Spoiler: they never fought over Yori in the first place
This aged very poorly.
Sadly the animations are trash, but nothing else to expect from studio CLOUDHEARTS. I guess I'll just read the manga instead
