How? Just how? I'm tearing up for multiple reasons.. The unexpected anime, the sublime art, the storytelling without any spoilers angle but mainly the painfully underratedness of both the anime and the video

@@Draconic_Incenerator Maybe the show doesn't have worldwide recognition, but it's pretty popular in Japan, I mean it freaking beat chainsaw man in BD sales, boosted guitar sales cause so many people got into guitar after watching bocchi the Rock, Bocchi, Nijika, Ryo and kita became the icons of Shimokitazawa!
So yeah, It's not underrated.
I must continue to connect to more socially anxious anime girls in a personal level. This is bringing great results.

ngl, confession here i almost stopped watching bocchi just because it felt like the bocchi world was too good to be true as i take in the reality on my screen: those friends she had never judged her, her family (aside from playful banters with her sister) never shamed her for not being able to interact with people like how every could. I thought this became too dreamy, too unrealistic for me to consume and i was honestly so afraid of getting sucked into a world that understands me so much that it becomes maladaptive behavior and makes me want to stop living in the real world (well i used to maladaptively dreame in the day so) but, bocchi not only became my comfort character, this show opened up a community that have similar issues like me oml
I hope you make a video of the manga after the anime ends, the manga is absolutely amazing.
Umika is even closer to Bocchi than you think. Bocchi has a hidden character trait that she loves space. You see it when she's searching the boxes in her mind for ideas on how to be more band-like, she has not one, but two boxes that are marked "Outer Space", two of the objects she's digging out of her "Dreams" box are a UFO and a rocket ship. Then, when she's depressed about having spent her whole summer without hanging out with the band in episode 9, she's watching an astronomy video on RUclips because we know she's interested in outer space. Finally, of course, the climactic song in episode 12 "I Want to be a Constellation", which Bocchi, of course, wrote the lyrics for, leans heavily on astronomy metaphors. So, yeah, when she's not shredding on her guitar, Bocchi is a secret astronomy geek!
You probably won't see this but THANK YOU for introducing me to Bocchi. Just finished episode 5 and it's amazing so far, anything yuri/girls love/cute girls doing cute things has really been helping me lately as my depression has gotten worse. Thank you :)

I found your channel like a week ago, and the amount of times I have rewatched your lyrical analysis video on if I could be a constellation is unhealthy but I’m glad to know I’m not the only one with crazy bokita brainrot. Oh, and Lycoris recoil as well. Your terrible summary of it is such a great video. Do you plan on doing anymore kessoku band lyrics analysis? -I need fuel for my bokita obsession- your insight on the lyric and translations (not just kessoku band) have been really interesting and fun to watch.

ive genuinely lost it. i cant think of anything else other than bocchi the rock. i dont feel like watching anything else other than bocchi the rock. i cant fill the hole in my heart no matter how much bocchi i watch. eating lunch? listening to rockn roll, morning light falls on you (i fucking love bocchi's singing voice i cant get enough of it) going to sleep... well... im typing this comment right now... every time i do something stupid i hear bocchi ost play in my head. every time i act even slightly akward in public i feel like i am bocchi. i dont have anyone to talk to. im at home most of the time like bocchi. bocchi is literally me, if you ignore the fact that i dont have something that i am good at (like bocchi being good at playing the guitar) honestly i dont care anymore. i just want this hole in my heart to finally be filled again. i haven't even made any friends since i moved to high school. i havent been able to focus on my studies because bocchi is all i can think of. my life has been going downhill... since... as long as i can remember... and its only gotten worse ever since bocchi left this hole in my heart. i dont know anymore. i dont know if i can even get off bed tomorrow, let alone fall asleep. i dont even know why i am here. i dont understand why i feel this way. i finished watching bocchi the rock, enjoyed it, and now i wished i never watched it so i wouldnt drag myself into this mess... every thing i used to watch doenst even compare to bocchi the rock so i dont even feel like watching anything else. i am truly lost in the mess i made of myself. my identity is slowly dissappearing, and so is my sanity. i dont even know why i am still writing this comment. i dont even know why i am not sleeping. i dont even know why i feel like this. i enjoyed watching bocchi the rock while it lasted, but... i cant dude... i-i just- ahhh WHYYYYYYYY
