My first thought after reading the translated lyrics was this song is about the moment she shredded the guitar solo in their first live house performance to hype everyone up. She jumped “Into the light”. 8 measures before the real performance could be referring to the solo she did. It’s my head cannon I’d like to share. And no you can’t convince me otherwise. THAT MOMENT IS TOO COOL TO NOT HAVE ITS OWN SONG, OKAY?

You should do the meaning behind "Flashbacker" next. I think it's a very important song that foreshadows the future events of BTR manga

So when this song was released, me and a couple friends did what normal people do, and attempted to rearrange and solve the equations in the song. We got some...interesting results. (Copying from the discord server we discussed this on)
Friends = Me ÷ Band
- Makes sense, as Band would equal Bocchi × her friends. I'm surprised she uses multiplication instead of addition.
Reality = (Me - Anxiety + Expectations) × Guitar
- I can understand Me - Anxiety (i.e. what she wants to be) × Guitar (self-explanatory), but why add Expectations? Is it so that people care about her? And why does it equal Reality?
Society = 0
- This is actually pretty funny. Bocchi doesn't give a damn about society.
Time = Me + You - (Live × Band)
- So, just the two of...whoever this you is and Bocchi, and without the music element. Maybe she's saying that there's only the passing of time if Kessoku Band had no music, nothing more. There's a her and a you, but nothing else.
Understanding = Me - Out
- Bocchi was sleep-deprived when she thought these up.
You = (Band × Friends - Me) / Society
- At first, I was horrified, since this implies that without Bocchi, the other three will just move on. But remember, Society equals zero, which means that You is undefined. She's saying that without her, there is no Kessoku Band. That's actually insane.

It really feels like this song is how she feels after episode 12, her confidence at an all time high (debatable) after performing in front of a large group of people for the first time and coming out of it much stronger

"The real performance" can be meant guitar solo, since 8 measures is chorus part
And also, this lyric is very abstract lmao, but we still can see Bocchi's love for the Kessoku Band
-Tbh Bocchi's lyrics are all pretty abstract, except Hitoribocchi Tokyo-
Also unlike the album songs, Into the Light and Blue Spring are not as hard as with it
And Blue Spring's guitar weren't recorded with Les Paul+Tele, PRS+Tele actually, since PRS have a whammy bar (Her new guitar have it too）
We also see that Bocchi is still developing a relationship with her new guitar lol

3:32 I mean, if they are using the word "you" how can it mean multiple people like Kessoku band, the word "you" is singular, Bocchi is referring to ONE person "you" cant be used to refer multiple people.

Just earlier before I watched this video I did the math and I forgot if it was 3 or 6 hours each day but if bocchi practiced 3 hours a day for 3 years then it would be 3276 or 6552 for 6 years of practice.
