This kind of character development and density is what most of romance anime lacks. After I finished the anime adaptation, I immediately ran to read the manga, it has a special place in my heart.

I love the anime deeply for how much it gives the girls some added depth just through the quality of the VAs' work. That said the manga just...aggghhhhh; the whole play arc and the class trip section all just are so heartbreaking and heartwarming. The whole story is still a go to for me that I've reread more times than I probably want to count.
I could definitely feel the artistic vibes added by the anime in some scenes like the aquarium scene and the first kiss scene and the voice acting is incredible . The manga art is also insane though so I don't even know which one I prefer haha
I want someone to talk about "Why do we love yuri" and I want you to make it :D

Amazing video, helped me understand this series even better.
I was also in the same kind of position, obsessed with animated romance series. When I first watched Bloom Into You, Yuu's feelings really appealed to me. Why don't I feel these emotions, miraculously the breakthrough wasn't because of Yuu. But when I heard Maki's story. The viewing of love but not feeling it. A world opened up for me and everything fell into place.
I really love this series and it will always be part of my thoughts.
Interesting, that's what makes this show so good. Everyone has a different character that gives them an answer to how they feel. I love this show so much

This was my first manga, when I was looking for something to give my Japanese study a boost back in 2020. It changed my life. I’ve re-read it many times (mostly in English until more recently), and get new things out of it each time. And seeing as you’re a LycoReco and a Bocchi fan I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to subscribe to this channel for still more insights. Yup.

I usually avoid romance anime because most of the time they make me feel bad for not having experienced that, but this was one anime I really enjoyed and you managed to explain why that was the case in the last part of the video.
This is my absolute favourite anime ♥ Just binged it and the manga again today. I really related to Yuu, and she is the reason I came to accept my own queerness.
