@@ragu0210 It a reference to the Sith. The rule of two states that there can only be two sith, a master and apprentice. In the past, there were more sith - not unlike the jedi. Anchor being is actually meta commentary on how when they remove the main character a series ends. The "we used to just prune them but now they want to let them dies slowly" part is commentary as well. IE Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther all still going on without their leads but they are not doing near as well and are slowly dying.
To be fair, one of those three wasn't by anyone's choice. Wakanda Forever would have been a much different and probably much better movie had he survived.
It has been a question in my mind too. Anchor beings sounds like a concept He Who Remains and the old TVA might have planted in every universe so that the branches die off by themselves without them having to do anything. So what about the sacred timeline? Since it is the one that's supposed to be there forever, does it not have an anchor being at all?
In your next Pitch Meeting you should bring up how Producer Guy wound up in the hospital during the Deadpool and Wolverine Pitch Meeting. I bet you could make it pretty funny.

You have got to be kidding me... Have you seen the real Gambit? And the absolute joke that he is in this movie by comparison? He was literally cast as a self aware joke about being a reject for being a terrible casting choice.. But apparently some people clearly missed the joke and took it seriously.. sigh.
@@Aceinine The only comic relief was the talking nearly incoherently part. Given this is an entire movie of comic relief characters, that's pretty tame. He has the costume designed right. @@XaadeTheBlade Disagree he looked the part. Gambit is a lithe master thief. Channing Tatum is not. He did fine in the role, but he was super far from the perfect cast that some claim.
The accurate suit, heavy cajun accent, and the one or two action scenes he had were amazing. If Gambit is ever going to come back after this film I see no reason that Channing Tatum shouldn't reprise his role. He made a good first impression to me. Can we just comment on how whenever responds to "Actually, it's gonna be super easy! Barely an inconveniece!", his "Oh, really!" is always genuinely surprised? It's hard to keep up the same effort when it comes to doing the same thing over and over again, but Ryan does that every time!

It's super easy, barely an inconvenience

Making fun of the Acolyte in a different Pitch Meeting is the best thing ever. I hope that continues. 😂😂
And it was probably super-easy, barely an inconvenience

It's kind of sweet that it's a multiversal constant for every merc with a mouth to have a bizarre kinship with an otherwise ordinary dude.
Same with none of them harming Dogpool
I know right! The balls on that guy! 😉
It's nice to know that any Deadpool at any point has met or befriended a Peter
But can you imagine Nice pools Peter😂
6:13 - You say it's a slideshow of the thing I just watched, but I don't remember the part where Producer Guy broke into a 90's power ballad.
Those Blade and Gambit cameos were wild.

I don't count those as cameos. They have roles. Psylocke, Callisto, Az, Quill, Blob, the Russian, Lady Deathstryke, Tyler Mane Sabes.... those are cameos

@Uredi20 - I had a bit of PTSD from "The Power of 2" statement. A company I worked for used that as a slogan after merging with (acquiring) another company.
@@ragu0210 It a reference to the Sith. The rule of two states that there can only be two sith, a master and apprentice. In the past, there were more sith - not unlike the jedi. But they were so busy backstabbing each other in their quest for power, they could never get on with defeating the jedi. So some wise guy developed the rule and the sith have been a binary since.

'Strange holes are tight!' That made my day. Lol. 😂
I had to go to the comment for that one 😂
Anchor being is actually meta commentary on how when they remove the main character a series ends. The "we used to just prune them but now they want to let them dies slowly" part is commentary as well. IE Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther all still going on without their leads but they are not doing near as well and are slowly dying.
The Office without Steve Carell, The MSU without RDJ, Scrubs, That 70's Show
To be fair, one of those three wasn't by anyone's choice. Wakanda Forever would have been a much different and probably much better movie had he survived.
"People that paid attention to casting news in 2014 for films that were ultimatele cancelled are gonna love that cameo"
Indeed we did.
Best cameo of the movie.... But is it really a cameo if you've got lines in multiple scenes?
I'm one of 'em.✋😂
I hated the casting of Channing Tatum as Gambit back then. After seeing this though, I want that movie.
@@remyblas "What we could had" moment.

The real Pitch Meeting was inside us all along.
@-dtuyhnjhggvjjjn
Uh what?
"I have SO MANY questions" "Hey shut up about all of them, it's just a reason for Deadpool to go find a Wolverine" LOFL!!
@@maverickmurphyWhat if the one above all is the anchor being for the sacred timeline
It’s ridiculous how on point these PMs are. Love you, RG!
If nobodies mentioned it, I appreciate you waiting a week to release these. Gives us a chance to watch them first. Thanks Ryan, and Ryan, and Ryan.
Just gonna ignore Ryan? smh
You do know it remains available in RUclips for you to watch it after you’ve seen the film. I know it’s tempting not to but you can do it! 😊

Your Pitch Meetings are getting even better! Great work, Ryan!!
In your next Pitch Meeting you should bring up how Producer Guy wound up in the hospital during the Deadpool and Wolverine Pitch Meeting. I bet you could make it pretty funny.
4:16 I was totally pumped when I saw Channing Tatum gambit. It was nice to not have blade, Johnny storm, and gambit spoiled.
All those cameos just shocked me. The only one I knew of was Saber tooth and that didnt even feel like a spoiler after watching the movie
@@jamesknapp64 same! I was expecting Sabertooth and Toad but not Johnny Storm, Elektra, Blade, Gambit, and Laura

Usually I'm the same but this movie was awesome, I saw it opening weekend!
I usually rather watch the movie first so I can get the jokes better.
If it's a movie or show that I know I'm never gonna watch then I go ahead and watch the Pitch meeting without it, usually Star Wars shows lol

@@wikansaktianto9215You claim it’s lazy and then criticize it for not including even more cameos
Even if the Gambit cameo was meant for people following casting news, CT definitely proved he was a good choice for Gambit if that movie had ever happened.
You have got to be kidding me... Have you seen the real Gambit? And the absolute joke that he is in this movie by comparison?
He was so bad that I was convinced he was a comic relief character, and then the movie confirmed it. He was literally cast as a self aware joke about being a reject for being a terrible casting choice..
But apparently some people clearly missed the joke and took it seriously.. sigh.
@@AceinineWhooimabouttomakeanameformyselfhere

The only comic relief was the talking nearly incoherently part. Given this is an entire movie of comic relief characters, that's pretty tame.
He has the costume designed right. He looks the part. What are you on about?
They tone down the accent and it works.
It's miles better than what they did with gambler wonka Gambit.
All we need now is a good Rogue to pair him up with and the movie writes itself.
As someone who paid attention to casting news in 2014 for films that were ultimately canceled, I did love that cameo. 😊
I think most people who have seen all the X-Men movies probably remember that casting news.

Made me a little resentful that we never got the movie honestly. Gambit has such a fun power he uses in such a neat way.
You left out the most important pitch - Wolverine putting on his comic-accurate mask! I had vertigo watching that scene.
