It's just so funny and entertaining. It doesn't matter what the stakes are because I'm too busy having a good time watching two characters I love duke it out of pure spite.
Her plan was stupid. She already ruled the void, Paradox made a move to mess that up which she found out about AFTER sending DP and W back home. The TVA were also on to Paradox at this point and the TVA doesn't care about what went on in the void. To put it in simple terms she could have sat in the void and done nothing and gotten literally what she wanted. By going after the time ripper all she did is get herself killed to achieve an objective that she already had.
That is forgettable, the point of the void is to discard forgotten characters. Her plan to rule over an empty wasteland while she was the one who enjoyed killing the newly arrived characters makes no sense. Why would she not just rule over the current world(s)? But of course that can't happen, since they need a convenient way to kill her in pursuit of power and destroying all universes.

And all the "please clap" moments actually made everyone go jack sh*t insane especially with Blade entrance.
Yeah, I think there’s an argument to both sides of the “please clap” moments. Yeah, they are done with background music more than just simply silence and footsteps, but they did still stop the movie for a second to do these cameo moments. Only a handful of them actually had shining moments. That’s not really a problem for me, but it is less of a movie that was than in something like No Way Home, where the third act was devoted to creating more of an arc within the battle. It also wasn’t just the moments of them making fun of the slips that happened in their previous movies.
The worst part is that HT even made fun of the fans at 0:19. What side are they on? They used to be on our side. Also how is Cassandra Nova that forgetful? She was so sinister and charismatic, Emma did a good job on bring her to life. She’s more of a memorable character that Weasel.
@@HMNCLunar
Okay first of all don’t like your own comment. Second I think everyone wants to forget Weasel AND T.J Miller.
Oh, was that his name?!? I just called the character TJ. I don't recall him ever being named. 😅
Honestly, I found she had that menace that Wanda was *supposed* to have in MoM, because she was crazy, sure, but also was a threat for reasons other than plot-induced stupidity on the part of the protagonists.
Even if I had powers, I'd be more afraid of Cassandra than Wanda.
6:16 I want them to add the "please clap" to the movie when they release it on video for each of those scenes
Absolutely a fan service movie! I felt fully serviced and what a “happy ending “ I got!
For the record, the "pause for cheering moments" had background music playing.
Its still really really funny they pointed that out... and they all do it... nobody is above it.
So what? That would still suck
@@brianshaker1885 It's cheap but accurate is what you mean to say.
Having rewatched Endgame and No Way Home multiple times, Honest Trailers really plays up how awkward those “pause for cheering” moments really are.
Exactly!!! The pauses really are not that awkward when rewatching the movies.
I loved it. It was a fantastic romp that had me laughing out loud in most of the fight scenes. Im not much of a marvel fan and have missed more than I’ve seen but this was fun.
Cassandra's impression of James McAvoy's impression of Patrick Stewart's voice was awesome.
Ahhh you couldn’t get Ryan this time, ahh fiddlesticks to a perfect trilogy of Ryans
Which is sad because epic voice over guy is the voice of Deadpool in HISHE anyway
maybe they showed him the script for this and he said "hardpass, new cinemasins"
Last movie was like 6 years ago, not sure if they can afford him now with product placement ad
One of the only movies i've seen multiple times in Cinema. I love it Xd
Wow, Epic Voice Guy is starting to sound erm, how should I put this?
A little bit.... jaded?
Yeah, there seems to be a bit of a tired and disinterested attitude in his voice lately. I mean I get one Cinema starts to feel saturated or out of ideas, but there does come a point when you could just say "hey, this was fun!"
Most definitely. I was watching it and it felt like everything was just bland. Could also be the writing 🤷♂️
The whole crew working on these has been getting more jaded and cynical with time. More interested in being mean than funny for a lot of them. Too terminally online
@@xger21it’s because there player haters.

Nah, that's just your Fandom for this movie talking. All good, I get it.
Just gonna be honest.
This trailer in particular just seems like slandering for the sake of slandering.
Very contrarian vid from Screen Junkies. A rare miss for Honest Trailers
Yeah, the movie was a lot better than what this HT leads one to believe
@@Transilvanian90 I miss when HT was actually honest instead of just trying to be funny. Like when they admitted Captain America: Winter Soldier was a good movie and then pointed out that they were nitpicking.
@@MrBrock314 Not completely sure if I would say they're no longer honest anymore, but I will absolutely concede that Winter Soldier is a fantastic example of HT to point to, and HTs like that are notably less common than they used to be, that much is true. Plus, even if it seems like they're being less honest from the audience's perspective, I do think they're largely remaining true to their own perspective, at least for the most part. But obviously it's hard to be certain about any of this, just my personal take.
It was an extremely mediocre movie with a worthless plot that effected nothing. It was basically Cameos: The movie.
Honestly, Honest Trailers let them off lightly. Go watch the Pitch Meeting.

The narrator said "one generation" and "once this era is over" though.

This movie was awesome. You were expert at knit picking it though. Lol

EpicVoiceGuy knows that it's ok to laugh at the jokes in this movie, right? Or does he just need a hug? Perhaps...a lot of them?
@@chaosorders maybe the writer does
It’s cool to laugh at funny jokes, but this movie didn’t have enough of those
@@et4003 given the laughter in the cinema when I saw it, I'd like to propose an alternative solution to your reaction. You don't have a good sense of humour and couldn't enjoy the jokes, or were just being grumpy that day. Or someone in eyesight had got their phone out.
@@jonevansauthor excuse me for not finding lazy overdone 4th wall breaks, combining curse words together and dick/butt jokes to be good comedy
@@et4003you seem really fun at parties.
You nailed it. My exact feelings about this film.
Anti-climatic fights? I think when you're just seeing epic characters with healing factors fight each other eternally out of spite, I don't think we care what kind of payoff it is. Because that IS the payoff.
Thats literally what they said... Jesus. Does anybody even really listen to these things??
Does the fight ending because the fighters wear themselves out make it funny? I really want an opinion.
@brianshaker1885 maybe, but the cynical tone in his voice made me hard to separate one negative critique from an observation.
@@VigilantKnight005 Yes, them fighting until they wear themselves out is really funny but also the creative ways how they keep fighting. Like the Honda Odyssey scene, were they used every bit of this confined space to outdo each other with every piece of the car they could find in this supposedly endless battle. It's just so funny and entertaining.
It doesn't matter what the stakes are because I'm too busy having a good time watching two characters I love duke it out of pure spite.
I think the fight scenes were all the most boring parts of the movie
Cassandra isn't forgettable though, and her plan literally makes perfect sense, her plan is to rule the void. Not even hard to say, it's 3 words long.
@@Muhammad-Jacobs699 Eliminating all current universes with the time ripper removes all competition without giving them a chance to fight back and lets her rule a place she's happy to rule.
@@Muhammad-Jacobs699 I think you missed the part of the movie where Cassandra has no desire to hang out in the "real world" and ONLY wants to rule the void.
@@MrBrock314 and I think you missed the part where that's just stupid "plot" nonsense so they don't actually have to make a movie with any sort of gravity or meaning to it. It's just the void so do whatever.

I had a great time with this movie. It was violent, funny, and had heart. Everything was nerdy and there's nothing wrong with that. Plot holes in multiverse stories are expected when different mediums are applied. It's a fun trilogy movie that tries to not just jump a shark, but ride it soaked in gore and nostalgia. 9/10.
im very glad i came to the comments before wtching this video.... this movie actually meant a lot to me, both wade and logan's journeys hit home for me and hot damn did i have fun watching it. multiple times.

Damn, this Honest Trailer didnt do enough justice for the movie, yes Hugh acting could be called not that important but he shows acting abilities and the love for the character that made him what he is today,Cassandra wasnt Loki or Thanos villain but she was a still a fun villain unlike most we got on phase 4.
We loved this movie, it was a respectful homage to super hero movies in general and the x-men movies in particular. The credit scenes showing the behind the scenes of those first X-Men movies were awesome. But calling us nerds for liking it, that was uncalled.
The same thing happened in the acolyte HT, they made fun of the fans, but for disliking it.
@@thefirstbourne149 I mean yeah but they had to make all entrance weird without the music and adding walking sounds like the vibe wasnt like that at all
@@nicomal right?! Like, I get it, future fans may be confised by epic entrances, some jokes are going to fly over their heads, but who actually cares? Everyone who grew up with X-men (and Marvel in general) movies and comics loved it. It was a beautiful homage tied together with a decent plot, and it didn't need to be anything else. I don't need to see "please clap", because everyone fucking SCREAMED in the cinema. We had our blast, yeah, sue us. Future gens gonna have their own heroes, and their own blasts. Let us enjoy ours. No need to make fun of it.
I actually thought Jackman looked bored and tired throughout the movie.
Ah so you're going with the "fan service is low hanging fruit" narrative. How very contrarian of you.
Marvel H. Christ forbid anyone makes stuff people like. It's not like a comic book crossover flick is an appropriate venue for that kind of crowd-pleasing! 🙄
I actually thought this movie struck a great balance between ample easter eggs for the true Marvel autists while still being enjoyable for enthusiastic casuals (like me; while I am on the spectrum, comics have yet to become a Special Interest of mine). It made me want to go back and learn more about multiple characters.
I want Epic Movie Voice Guy to say your comment in the next video.

They're referring to the next generation who will be watching this with no connection to all the cameo moments.
I'm pretty sure a lot of us liked this better than No Way Home.
