@@redjoker well, I would say it's not bad and not as stressful but I know it's not for everyone. You need to remember all kinds of work since it's a convenience store but still once you get the grasp of it it's pretty relaxing... UNLESS you work in a store that is not only in the middle of 2 stations but also is surrounded by 2 high schools and a university like mine. I work during the daytime of Fri, Sat and Sun and even though there is no school in the weekend my store is still always flooded with those students who participate in club activities and hell it's stressful af.
I also just came home from a 8 hours long shift today and honestly I wanna quit soon 😭

lycoris recoil is the first series i have ever spent money on specifically merch. i’ve spent close to 500 dollars for merch, figurines, and the books. and atm i’ve spent almost 200 usd just to gacha them in the riichi city collab (i do play mahjong, but lyco reco made me migrate from majsoul to riichi city). safe to say that i am still quiet obsessed with the series even though they barely give any official updates regarding the anime. but am i still spending? yes….

Ah Magia Record and Lycoris Recoil Collab was an unexpected treat. Now then Magia Record, the only gacha game I am currently playing. TL;DR: it is for the fans of Puella Magi Madoka and plays like FGO. The game is fun for me and probably not for others.
Gameplaywise, think your standard fgo fess, 5 discs = 5 cards, Accel = Arts, Blast = Buster, Charge = Quick, Craft Essences = Memoria, Noble Phantasm = Magia (or the upgraded Doppel). Fight familar, witches and Uwasa, get mats, power up girls. Difference is that Magical Girls max out at 4 copies, where they get 4 slots for four memoria. FGO has 3 skills, Magia Record has 1 skill unlocked in Spirit Enhancement which requires event only mats, but is essentially time gated because the events always return. Teams in FGO are 3 front and 3 backline, Magia Record can have teams of 1-5, all fighting at once. Magia Record has something called a connect, where after you use a magical girl's disc, you can connect a magical girls disc to another magical girl to provide bonuses that last 1 turn. Small team compositions of 2 are great for connecting back and forth. 3 is pushing it and 4 and 5 members require other strategies unless you play close attention to disc composition and have disc control based skills.
Powercreep though is a thing though with more than 1 slot an old unit can still be viable. . Being called Magia Record, the game in its single player content heavily favors spamming Magia or its upgraded version Doppel. This means the first Madoka, the first Magia spammer that supports other units in doing the same thing is surprisingly still viable in single player.
Its competitive multiplayer (Ranked Mirrors) requires to use all discs and meet and absurd requirement to score well. The other competitive multiplayer, Kimochis is a raid where one tries to score as much damage as possible. This raid though is more for mats and while one can go hard into it, one does not have to get all the rewards neccessary. Ranked Mirrors used to be all for bragging rights and is rightfully more important in my correct subjective opinion but now there are mirror memoria of which the first few were strong (for single player), and the rest are mediocre, so back to bragging rights.
Story is very skippable, though there are hints of good event stories here and there. Their "Lostbelt" or Historical Magical Girls were actually good because bad stuff can finally happen. Lycoris Recoil and Magia Record's collab story was surprisingly in tune with Lycoris and Puella Magi Madoka. That is to say, stakes are there but Chisato and Takina and friends pull through. All's well ends well as it were. Gameplaywise on the collab unit, Chisato is queen of evasion and selfishingly spamming Magia, Her sustain is quite strong via not getting hit. She counters one of the weakness to evasion which is statuses because her Magia allows her to resist be statused. Chisato is counter by anti-evasion or Magia which bypasses evasion. Takina is the first in FGO terms Buster Crit (after the game's been out for 6 years). In the first few turns Takina is absolute monster inflicting massive damage. She has some tankiness due to an inherent barrier but she is not Chisato, she is here to kill fast and get out.
The two units are not broken by any means because this game favors strong team compositions. Chisato and Takina are strongest as solos and do not work well even when paired together. This is because their disc sets are inherently opposites of one another. That being said Chisato spamming Magia fits in her in Magia team, and she is decent as a DPS. Takina fits well in a small charge-blast team, (BUSTER CRITS). What holds the two back is that their skills do not support a team, by themselves and are supported by a team.
If one cared about Seiyuus (VAs), Chisato's seiyuu voiced a viking magical girl. Takina's Seiyuu voiced a Tibetan Rakhasa. Viability wise, the Tibetan Rakhasa is quite strong in the game, not so much for the viking though.
I can't recommend the game for everyone though, it is definitely more for fans of Puella Magi Madoka. It is a standard Gacha game, play 1 and only commit to 1 to save time and finances.
