I feel like the writer got challenged to say trans rights in the WEIRDEST possible way. The anime was a wild ride, but certainly weirdly entertaining. You truly never knew what was gonna happen next, so comparing it to gambling was spot on. I also saw that there's like 13 novels and the 14th on the way and I can't even imagine what's happening later on in the series lol
Maybe they'll use their gender-bending, time-warping, future-choosing powers to finally answer the age-old question "Are femboys gay".
