Its on my face and ears , using antifungal shampoo foam on face irritates skin and skin becomes red and dry and for this i have to use anti-inflammatory ointment. This is a loop , u can't escape anywhere. On not washing my face, with any facewash or shampoo foam , it looks normal but still there is intense burning sensation at some places and yellowish secretion . This disease is more than a curse . Hope someday we find its cure .
    Edit -
Today as on 04/05/2024 , I'm telling all of u that since February 2024 , I'm going well without using any face moisture or cream or ointment, and I'm also not avoiding much food , i just avoid junk food , oily food , maida , and sugar , and after bathing I expose my face in direct sunlight four times a week in between 8am -9am for 10-15min
*And the most important thing is that u have to believe that you have no disease*
Convince urself daily , just act and think like u don't have any disease, get vit d levels checked and may God shower his love on all of us..

I am completely cured after 6 years.
Here is what I did, I hope it helps someone.
    I quit processed food completely.
I switched from diary to gluten free alternatives.
Paid a higher price for macro/ organic alternatives on the vegetables.
Processed sugar is almost completely rid from diet.
I used steroid cream under dermatologist prescription for two years. This exacerbated it. I had worried about the effects of ceasing it’s use. I used an antibacterial alternative of tee tree and rosemary Creme for my face when tapering off hydrocortisone. Have not touched hydro since and I do not recommend it’s use.
I used a tar shampoo once a month to really rid the dandruff and bacteria off my scalp.
Blow dry hair after shower every time.
For body wash and moisturiser I diverted towards natural alternatives.
In about a month I was completely clear from seb derm. I had laser to fix pigmentation and kill bacteria. Q Switch - Non ablative.
For me I believe it was my diet - gut health. My life is turned around. I only wish I’d done this six years sooner.

@@MrMoon1ight_ I found keeping the scalp routinely clean and dry to be an effective way (for me) to prevent that moist environment which the bacteria thrived in. For me, every step is important. Most importantly, the change didn’t completely occur until I worked on my health from the inside out via disciplined diet. I spent years trying to Band-Aid the effect with hygiene and pharmaceutical products without fixing the cause. This is not advice, just trying to be insightful.

Hello. I am writing from Turkey. I comment using translation. It would be very nice if you translate your answer. I have had seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp for several years. I promised not to apply cleaning products such as shampoo or soap to my scalp. My hair was number three. I started massaging my scalp with crushed garlic every day. After massaging with garlic for half an hour, I rinsed my hair with apple cider vinegar. I repeated this every day. In the first few days, the dandruff disappeared. He didn't come back for a few months. When I went back to shampoo a few months later, it started to flak slowly within 1 week. Whatever my personal opinion is, clean your hair with herbal teas and oil. Don't give up. I think it regulates the microbiota in the hair. I rinse with herbal tea. It's my second day. It's the 14th day since I quit shampooing again. I'm going to get my hair used to shampoo-free for life.

@@sarsvfx There are plenty of sources on RUclips about carnivore, animal based, or just diet with quality ingredients (avoiding toxic stuff with pesticides and things like too much plant defense chemicals). Try Paul Saladino, Frank Tufano (to maybe counterbalance Paul Saladino....don't believe anybody 100%...do what works for you) and go from there. It is very likely the food we eat. Have you eliminated seed oils (canola, sunflower, peanut...)? It is the source of unsaturated fats this video mentioned. It might be all you need, but it will likely not be enough. You can then try reducing carbohydrates which apparently feed the bacteria on your head. I'm currently trying this, but it will be a slow process as I need to find other alternatives to eat and change my habits. Might also be the milk, which I am not willing to cut right now.
You might be motivated way more than I am and reach a solution faster than me. I just don't want to wash my hair every 2 days and don't have to regularly go to school/work. So I don't worry about the dandruff too much and try slowly change my diet to test things out. Only thing that really bothers me is the itching. But if I just use baby shampoo or an egg, it itches just a little and just sometimes. I don't believe in shampoos that target this condition...my scalp always itches way more 1 or 2 days after I use them.
Just trying to say you don't have bad genetics...we live in a toxic environment and some people just can tolerate way more. It is unlikely you'd have these problems running around with a bow and in a loin cloth. So try to make some changes to see if they work for you and you. There is so many people with problems you don't know about having plenty of children. You can figure this one out with some testing.

I can tell you that sugar and a poor diet is what makes it worse, and if you cut out sugar and improve your diet, IT WILL GET BETTER.
Dr's say they think it is caused by yeast on your skin. What does yeast love to eat? SUGAR!!!
I'm not saying I know this for a fact, but if you eat a lot of sugar, it gets worse. If you cut out sugar, it gets better.
I'd guarantee any money that people that have bad cases of this have bad diets high in sugar.
When you clean up your diet and drink lots of water, I'll guarantee your skin will get better. I know from experience.
