She hits the spot about hydration. After drinking about at least 3 liters of steam distilled water for over half year, my dandruff slowly dissapeared. Also washing my hair with it helped making it keep softer and make it shinier. Avoid hard water. Distilled is the way to go.
Yeah I’m trying to grow out my hair this is a new problem and I think it’s because I was trying to get waves and I put way too many products into my hair and it caused some of my hairline to come out but it’s fixable
@@TheAndyVegan I experience different, I make my own distilled water or use RO water. Hair has gotten a natural shine plus I avoid the mainstream/supermarket Hair shampoos.
I think it may be that or over washing or something cuz my hair was fine but i washed my hair 4 days in a row cuz my friend said to do that im never taking his advice but i waited a week and picked it out but im gonna ask a dermatologist about my scaly ear cuz google keeps telling me its a brain tumor
I really admire your scholarly attention to science-based detail. This was very helpful for the problems with which I'm dealing. I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant providing amateur haircuts to residents in our nursing home, because Covid regulations prevent us from having a trained beauty operator or barber come in to the facility. You are a very articulate young woman, and I wish you success in all your endeavors.
since this is getting picked up by the algorithm i just wanna say that i got rid of my dandruff by using a scalp scrub along with tea tree shampoo and doing an apple cider vinegar rinse once a week. also using a scalp brush while shampooing can really make a difference in scalp exfoliation. i've been doing this routine for about 9 months and i've only gotten very mild flare ups if i waited too long between apple cider vinegar rinses
Sunlight for dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis treatment best I ever get. In summer 5-8 AM , Winter 6-9 AM . 1 hr is sufficient, Front face against sun for 1/2 hr backward face against sun 1/2 hr. Diadvantage -- don't go afterwards 9 AM because Sunlight become worse by UV rays .
I used ginger with extra Virgin olive 🫒 oil on my scalp after 2 -3 uses my scalp is 90% better and my hair grew back , you can also mix ginger with tree tree oil or Witch hazel to help with the itching. And it’s easy just blend to make a paste and apply then wash off , i left it on for a hour.
Please I'm so scared i have this skin condition and my scalp been very itchy and I've lost so much hair i wanna go bald and start treating my scalp so will my hair grow back 🥺💔
Use oil but not mineral oil like coconut and any fragrance oil.. Use black seed oil and mix it with neem oil... apply it over night and wash hair with shampoo paraben and sulfate

Just diagnosed my condition as seb derm. So I mixed tea tree oil with jojoba and massaged itchy areas on my scalp. Got immediate relief and itching just stopped cold. I believe tea tree is the healer but alone it’s probably way too powerful.
(5/5) That combined with the high amount of dust and lint it attracts will create the illusion of thickener hair. I don’t see a problem with using castor oil on just your hair strands on occasions, especially if you want to add shine and a light hold for a particular style. But, I do suggest using some of your gut feeling and some common sense when it comes to putting it on your scalp, especially if your scalp is already functioning normally.
i wash my hair once a week and it's only itchy if i massage it or touch it. i have had flakes i think my whole life. i think my scalp is dry but i daily massage it to produce more natural oils.
Totally loved the video. It’s just the last comment about these conditions: none of them is embarrassing. We don’t get embarrassed when we catch a flu or fever. It’s just a medical condition that needs treatment. But again, thanks for the informative video.
(1/2) The Hydrolyzed wheat protein is not really needed for locs unless you notice that they look excessively frizzy and you want to patch up your cuticle layers. I highly recommend the Herbal Hot Oil Treatment (its a great moisture retention and scalp treatment). I also recommend mixing a few drops of the the tea tree oil to your shampoo to keep the bacteria build up at bay and to simulate blood circulation on your scalp (which will promoted hair growth).
I don't understand how people can give a thumbs down on your videos! You obviously have lots of knowledge on hair, down to its science. Your videos have helped me tremendously so keep up the good work👍
(3/5)Castor oil is like a soft glue that sticks to your skin & hair a lot more firmly then other natural oils. Its sticky & does not move easily so it quickly attracts lint & dust easily from the environment, which substantially increases the rate of build-up on your scalp.I know theres a theory in the natural hair community, that consistently rubbing castor oil on your scalp will make your grow thicker hair & will stimulate re-growth.The results u see online could be a bit misleading for 2 reasons
So you shouldn't use oils nor grease at all for dandruff? I have read a study about dry dandruff and oily dandruff and it said that dry dandruff should use a gentle shampoo on oily scalp use a anti dandruff shampoo, but is it so?
(2/2) Make sure to use a controlled top application bottle when using both products. Locs are still hair strands and its important to still take care of your cuticles, to enhance the appearance. So cuticle help is still very important.
I believe that most of her videos do help with itchy scalp. Maybe the PH of your scalp is not balanced. Her videos on dry scalp and oily scalp could help you. Or maybe your scalp is sensitive to a product you are using. Process of elimination.
Many thanks, I been tryin to find out about "what is the best thing to use for psoriasis?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Aaneyton Mysterious Asset - (do a search on google )? It is a good one off product for discovering how to say goodgye to psoriasis without the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my neighbour got excellent results with it.
Wow, that sounds like a headache to go through. Yes, use only a Pure Tea Tree Oil (not mixed w/ anything else) and make sure to use it every time you wash your hair. Unlike dandruff, dermatitis is cause by something within your body the surfaces on your skin. So the tea tree oil may not completely cure you but it sure will sooth a lot of your discomfort.
The only thing that kills Malassezia is Ketoconazole. There are things that can make it Not worse, but Ketoconazole is essentially an enemy of Malassezia.
Enjoyed learning by you! Very direct and honest vs trash RUclipsrs that constantly promote themselves and speak too fast. This was educational, informative and professional.
Thank you! This is almost life saving. I have dry scalp that makes my skin produce way too much oil, resulting in itchy, dry scalp but oily hair. Definitely gonna put tea tree oil in my shampoo! Thanks for that great tip. And I won't touch the hairdryer or any other products unless its safe to use on a dry scalp. Now I know why I have little more than normal hair loss. Lucky for me I have thick hair. Thank you again, this will change my life!
Wooow I had no idea you’re supposed to Oil the scalp with a LIGHT oil ONCE every two weeks. I used to do not do that. I Oil it less now but still more often than that. Wow. Very enlightening! Thank you! My Herbal Hot Oil Treatment is on its way. Can’t wait!
(1/5) There are tons of research materials out there on castor oil but, unfortunately like many other natural oils the clinical trials and research material does not pertain to hair and scalp (its more dietary). So, let’s do our own study.
Thanks for this. When I changed shampoo and conditioner I thought I had suddenly got dandruff. I'd never had dandruff before. The roots kept getting oily real fast too. I tried using my conditioner on my scalp and the "dandruff" magically disappeared so I assume it was actually just dry. Its stopped getting oily now too.
Shampoo completely aggravated my dandruff and got it wet sticky and all over my hair. These so-called "hair experts" claim conditioner on scalp is a huge no-no, but just like you did it also helped most of my dandruff disappear. They really out there destroying people's hair for a profit smh.
I remember using conditioner on my scalp and it worked whenever I had dry scalp and it worked but I stopped to see if it would come back if I just used the conditioner on my hair only and turns out yeah it kinda did. So yeah I'm gonna start using my conditioner on my scalp
Kathy Pro Bro I’ve been using very moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, rinsing with diluted apple cider vinegar, and oiling a couple times a week. I also only wash once a week. My scalp is still dry but far far less itchy!

You have a good tone to your voice and easy to listen to. I am an elder who has a serious health issue. Anemia. I noticed the thinning of my hair last year. I also have headaches due to stress. Health wise I need to eat more green leafy veggies-I do. The problem I am experiencing now is the thinning although I use a hot oil treatment at night. I realize you are not a doctor on this subject, so can you suggest anything that will loosen my scalp so it does't feel soo tight? I appreciate any advice you can give. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon.
It sounds like most of the issues you are experiencing is definitely linked to your current state of health. It's best to focus on stabilizing your full internal health. The rest will follow. For now, you can try scalp messages and doing herbal hot oil treatments from time to time won't hurt. Just make sure the herbs don't conflict with any medications you may be on.
Are you on any supplements for the anemia? I have a bad iron deficiency and have been taking liquid iron in an herbal base from the health food store for about a month, I hope it works. I hope your health improves again and you feel better soon.
Thanks for the advice. I suffer from dandruff so badly that I'm willing to see a dermatologist or tricologist to see if it's something more. You mentioned that if you have dandruff, adding oil to the scalp won't help but then you said to follow up with an herbal hot oil treatment after shampooing. Why do you suggest this if applying oil to the scalp may not work? Also why do you suggest not applying oil at all if dandruff causes the slow production of our natural sebum? Shouldn't we apply oil if we are lacking our natural oils? Idk. I need help! Thanks always Green Beauty 😊
(4/5) First the act of messaging you scalp (even with plain ole water) can simulate re-growth of hair (there have been many animal studies done to show this). And secondly the increased thickness of hair can very well be an illusion. Due to its chemical composition stated earlier, castor oil firmly sticks to your hair strands (stronger than other natural oils).
What causes itchy and burning scalp? What can I do I’ve probably have watched all of your videos. I believe sometimes it can be my hair products? I’ve been a subscriber for about 3 years. You’re the best.
When trying to hydrate, adding 1/8 of a teaspoon of baking soda to a bottle of water makes it alkaline. Also eating juicy fruits & vegetables is also very helpful in hydration. Bottled water & tap water can actually cause me to feel more dehydrated... I add more baking soda than that, but I used to it. My proof is when I took a ph test and the test shocked my health care provider because I was almost an 8 which is perfectly alkaline, I was a 7... I had taken the test before by JUST drinking water & it said I was dehydrated... Being alkaline & drinking a lot of water are TWO different things!
I loved this video I've been having so many issues with dry flakes and every time I itch my head or touch my hair its so embarrassing that I have all these small little flakes fall! I have had this itchy scalp for years don't matter what medicated shampoo I use it's not going. Guessing because I just don't know what it is. Thankfully it hasn't spread to my skin but the flakes goes on my eyebrows. Please help me! I've continuously prayed about this problem to go away and tonight I saw this video.
Seborrheic dermatitis, mine will bleed at times. I use the shampoo Nizoral, it's about $14, but works wonders. Head and shoulders does not help me as much.
How to treat seborrheic dermatitis: 1) Decrease the number of bad bacteria in the gut by stop consuming sugar and flour products (cookies, biscuits, pasta, etc.), especially in the first month. The most important step in my opinion. 2) In order to kill the bad bacteria, you can also start consuming apple cider vinegar (1 table spoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-4 times a week in the morning) or/and drink nettle tea (like the common tea) 1-3 times a week in the morning. An also helpful formula is a glass of water, apple cider vinegar 10-20%, 1/2 tsp of ginger powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, 1/2 tsp of onion powder, 1/2 tsp of clove powder & 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper powder. Use this formula in the morning. Garlic and caprylic acid (before the main meal) can also help you. 3) Increase the number of good bacteria in the gut by consuming fermented foods (sauerkraut, kefir, miso, etc.) or/and by using probiotic supplements in the morning (prefer the liquid ones). Before buying any probiotic supplement check the quality first labdoor.com/rankings/probiotics 4) Fix the ratio between omega 6 and omega 3 in your body (you should make a blood test, you want the ratio to be about 4:1, the average person has too many omega 6, the average ratio is about 10:1!). Omega 3s are very important in our diet and they affect our brain health and vision (mostly) and our mood and skin condition as well, so you must consume food rich in omega 3s regularly (chia seeds, flaxseeds, walnuts, seaweeds, etc.). You can also use omega 3s supplements (DHA+EPA mostly, prefer the plant-based ones and not the ones from fish oils). You not only need to increase omega 3s, but you also should stop consuming food rich in omega 6 (junk food, fried food, peanut butter, sunflower oil, etc.). 5) Get enough sun. Many researches have shown that vitamin D3 plays a very important role in dermatitis and other skin issues that you might have. Get your face, hands and legs 10-20 minutes, 2-4 times per week in the sun. If you live in a city where there is no so much sunlight, use a supplement (our body needs about 4000 IU/week). I am not a doctor, but I've treated my seborrheic dermatitis (which I had for many years), I've talked with many doctors, read many articles, read books, etc. Believe me if you follow the above 5 steps, you'll see a big difference in your dermatitis (you’ll notice a change within the first week) and you'll have a better health in general. You don’t have to be rich to follow the above 5 principles, more or less, everyone can apply them. If you have dermatitis try them out, what do you have to lose? If you want to improve your health, I've written a short book that can help you www.amazon.com/Medicines-Better-Life-Dennis-Gjika-ebook/dp/B08539J4WK/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=gjika&qid=1618941111&sr=8-3 Thank you for your time and wish you a good and healthy life!

Very informative! Thank you. Now I know I only have the dry scalp, I really thought I have huge issue with dandruff and I've been using the wrong remedy for it.
head and shoulders helped me a lot with that except for one area where it's not as bad as it was but just won't go away. came here to find out if it's psoriasis or fungal or what.
I've been using coconut oil lately instead of avocado 🥑 oil. The SD and psoriasis is a whole ass mess especially during the winter 😩 😫 It's a lot better with my antifungal shampoo
So, small tiny flakes would be dry scalp and dandruff would be bigger flakes? I thought I had dry scalp until I saw this video which makes me think I have dandruff. I was being lazy and hadn't washed my hair in a month and I noticed my hair was really itchy and flaky. I washed it with shampoo and conditioner only to find bigger flakes two days later after doing my hair with curlformers. I noticed a strange smell from my scalp and a sweat like feel to it while the curlformers were in my hair (I slept with them in my hair), it still smells a bit dirty now. I'm really confused. I know you aren't a doctor and this is TMI, but your videos are really helpful. What do you recommend (if you can make a recommendation)?
I’m glad I found your video, because I thought all this time I had dandruff & nothing has worked my scalp itches there’s teeny tiny little specks & when I scratch it turns beet red. It’s been constant & driving me crazy. So now I’m thinking it’s just dry scalp. Thanks a lot because I never thought of dry scalp.
I feel like I have psoriasis, but I dont get it terribly bad like in the video, at times its really dry and flaky and spreads to the outskirts of my sideburns making it noticeable. also I get the same kind of dry fally skin on my eyebrows.

Wow very informative. I have food allergies and dermatitis and when I'm really stressed out from work, I break out out in a terrible rash and have the thick yellow flakes on my scalp which is really embarrassing. Gotta try incorporating tea tree oil into my regimen
I've been using dandruff shampoo for years and always wondered why I still have flakes, turns out I have dry scalp. Just switched to Tea tree oil shampoo today.
I wanted to come on here and just share a tip for people that need it and have struggled with waxiness and hair loss because I tried so many different $$ shampoos, treatments, and this is the only one that actually worked for me. I got this tip from my hairdresser whose son actually suffers from this as well. Basically- she suggested using a mixture of a good tea tree shampoo (Paul Mitchell or something equivalent) and in a bowl or small bottle- putting one part hydrogen peroxide and mixing or shaking the two together well... Then diluting the rest of the mixture with equal parts water. Massage it into your scalp for a minute or two, then leave it on there for another few minutes, and wash it out completely in the shower. You don't want to use TOO much hydrogen peroxide because this can be irritating to the scalp, so I just use my normal amount of shampoo and do a small pour of hydrogen peroxide (maybe a couple of tablespoons), and fill the rest of my small bottle with water. It should be pretty foamy when youre applying it if youve mixed it well enough. This has literally SAVED my scalp. And you can find hydrogen peroxide at pretty much all major stores and it's very cheap (like $1-2 for a good sized bottle will last you months or a year). My scalp has never been cleaner, and the waxiness has gone away completely- but depending on the severity, it might take a few treatments before its fully gone. I would also recommend following it on with a good conditioner or leave in treatment, just because it can be a bit drying. But I hope this helps someone. I know how stressful hair loss is and I couldn't find this specific tip on RUclips, so I wanted to share it :) Happy washing!
I believe so! I haven't been to the dermatologist in awhile, but I definitely struggled with dandruff, itchy scalp, and greasy/waxy sections because my scalp produces more oil than normal. Something that started in my early twenties.. I don't remember dealing w/ this when I was younger. But I've been managing it since I changed my hair care routine- I'll have flare-ups occasionally, but it's much better than it was!
I had thick straight hair (oily scalp) which I was complimented for. As I moved to a different place where water was really bad I had minor hairfall, long story short something I regret to this day, one of my relative gave me an oil and said to leave it all night and wash it the next morning. I did it for 1 month and things went south, my scalp was reacted to it and I had this white creamy thing after I bath and as it dries it was not that visible, also scalp became an oil factory 😅😭(excess sebum production). I tried lot homemade stuffs and shaved my head, went to doctors and they gave me treatment for sebhorric dermatisis. After trying lot of thier shampoos and stuffs for years I have lost my thickness and lost the hairline shape I had (forehead) also it has reduced from how it was over the past 4 years but its still their and scalps excess oily. ITS BEEN 4 YEARS, RIGHT NOW WHEN I SEE THIS VIDEO IAM HAVING DOUBTS WHETHER MY CONDITION WAS AN EXCESS CASE OF DANDRUFF ALSO USING OIL LIKE COCONUT, CASTOR, WORSENED MY CONDITION.
I seriously think I have a mix of dandruff and dry scalp. My hair is so dry almost fried at times however when I wake up my flakes are HUGE like dandruff and then become just smaller dry scalp looking flakes through out the day.
I have A LOT of dandruff and scalp scrabs that be cutting my scalp when i pick it. And plus my scalp is always itchy. I probably have the dermatitis one because my hair is for ever dry. My hair has dandruff an hour after washing it. It just gets dry so fast even when i use oils or anything else like that. I will always have to wear a durag because the flakes drop on my eyebrows and face. So annoying!

2:50 it might officially be a mystery but I have this due to lack of neutrophils which are the white blood cells that normally will combat fungus and bad bacteria.
I saw a picture of the dude that had it on his nose. I have it on my scalp, eyebrows, and the corner of my nose. Sometimes it gets yellow when its been a while since I let my scalp breathe or put olive oil and apple cider vinegar, but most of the time it is clear and white. Could you please help me figure this out? What do u think? I’m so exhausted by all this I’m so tempted to just shave my head and put lotion.
Same here. Honestly I tried to grow my hair out multiple times but once it gets to about an inch the itchiness gets worse so I had to keep cutting it. I also have it on my nose and ears. It’s still hard to relieve myself of the itchiness so if u have any tips please let me know.
I was wondering what was going on. I ran into stress and became dehydrated on a daily basis and switched shampoos to something I didn't realize didn't have tea tree in it. I'm def adding tea tree to my shampoo and drinking more water. Also to those that have hard water, try a good chelating shampoo or a shower had that will filter all that bad stuff out, it helps a lot!
You can put oil on your scalp. Just try to to use too much. Use the same amount you would use on your face and messaging it into your scalp for a few minutes. Using a small amount or oil to message your scalp will help lubricate it without clogging up your pores and the message will help stimulate your sebaceous glands to start producing more oil on its own.
The Herbal Hot Oil Treatment can be used as a leave-in and as a rinse out treatment. if you use it as a leave-in you don't have to too much, a little goes a long way. If you use it as a Herbal Hot Oil Treatment, give it time to soak in with the shower cap and/or hooded dryer then rinse out the excess oil.

I’m still kinda confused on what I have, every time I wash my hair and after dry it it gets dry my scalp is really flaky and dry and after a day it’s gets greasy/oily and really itchy I have some patches on my neck also don’t know if it’s dry skin or dandruff
The same happens to me, i didn’t think anyone else experienced this. It’s very confusing. Its nice to know I’m not the only one. I think mine is psoriasis though because it runs in my family. I have noticed just recently that I sometimes get a rash on my arm. Have you seen a dermatologist? I have an appointment coming up with mine soon that can hopefully give me some answers.
This sounds like you should talk to a dermatologist. I only got the dryness, flakes and itchiness on my scalp and body. My brother mentioned greasiness. A recent fix I used is getting a shower filter. That changed a lot for me. Now I just need to repair the dryness damage. If you have hard water, a shower filter could help you too, but a professional would still be advisable especially if this doesn't work.
Same.About two times i had effects like dandruff,LARGE flakes all over my hair, and extreme itchines every second. It looked like the examples it showed. Can someone explain how this only happened two times?
Hi, first of all I want to say you are my favorite hair-centered youtuber, you explain so well and in simple terms, and I love the focus on natural ingredient and remedies. Secondly I want to say I am not part of your primary audience which is black women with type 4 hair, I'm Italian with type 2 hair, but since my problem is about scalp I hope I can still ask you... I have a tendency to dry skin. This winter in my house we mostly used wood in the fireplace to heat our house to save money. I also have to use a dehumidifyer a lot in my room because it's so damp that if I don't mold grows in there (I live near a river). When we burn wood the air gets really hot and dry around the fireplace, and since right now I'm staying at home most of the time that's where I am (it's too cold for me to stay in other rooms regularly). I have experienced snowfall-like dry dandruff twice this winter which I never had experienced before, and right now I'm not quite back to normal yet, I still have a bit of flaking. I also experience dry skin on my nose a lot. I definitely know it's dry dandruff. I also have to say that I have been ditching regular supermarket shampoo and tried to be more diy with my hair since August. My hair (type 2, naturally high porosity, dense, medium strands?) has gotten much better, I couldn't even discern there was a curl pattern in there before, it was just always poofy and dehydrated like Einstein hair(I guess I would be a 'vata' in the Ayurvedic hair department?). But I wonder if I have been disregulating my scalp ph. I have been using yogurt/fenugreek masks and conditioning rinses with sage leaf, fenugreek, aloe, and some apple cider vinegar, oiling my head as pre-poo, and sometimes I 'shampoo' my hair only with egg yolks and chickpea flour, which I leave on my head for 30 mins to be really sure it works (5 min pose time doesn't work for me; otherwise, it's excellent). These things have all been beneficial to my hair, which definitely likes less alkalinity being that it's porous on its own, but maybe they were too acidic for my scalp?? I will definitely start using ph measuring strips from now on. I was also instructed to use a medicated shampoo for dandruff but since mine is dry dandruff, I wonder if it's actually too harsh and further strips my scalp of moisture. What do you think I should do to ensure my scalp is well hydrated and doesn't flake anymore? I know this may be a minor issue, but it's really annoying for me... Thank you again for your channel, and congratulations on your beautiful baby 😀
Dry scalp is when your scalp has a lot of tiny flakes which are over your clothes, head and hair. Dandruff is more serious and usually it's hard to remove it.
I'm a dry hair, if i use tea tree oil, so what about Apple Cinder vinega??? Should i use it too??? And how can i use both them in the same time??? Please told me.
I deadass think i have all 4 of these at the same time

1:56 Dandruff is over production of fungus already present on scalp. Melesazia ovelus. Causes acceleration of formation on new skin cells. Does not give old skin cells time to naturally flake away. Large clumps of cells form. This mixes with sebum on scalp. The oilier the scalp the worse the condition can be.
3:11 Seboreic dermatitis, or psoriasis
Seborric can cause yellow clumps and cause hair shedding.
4:27 Don’t grease scalp want it to produce enough sebum on its own. Once every two weeks almond or jojoba oil. Castor oil could clog pores create dependency
5:14 Tea tree oil
5:54 Few drops of tea tree oil in shampoo and wash your hair with it.
Buying distilled water just to wash your hair is a waste. It’s good marketing for distilled water companies

The Foliculitis scout website has an ingredent checker for products, and i think plant oils can affect it badly.
How's your hair like though?
Is it thick or thin?
No regular oiling for my scalp.

I wash my hair with tea tree and I style my hair with gold bond men’s lotion and that’s been working really well for my dry scalp
Wow, that sounds like a headache to go through. Yes, use only a Pure Tea Tree Oil (not mixed w/ anything else) and make sure to use it every time you wash your hair. Lightly greasing my scalp with caster oil after wash day healed my Seborrheic Dermatitis and grew my hair. Caster oil works for me.
Thanks for this. When I changed shampoo and conditioner I thought I had suddenly got dandruff. I'd never had dandruff before. The roots kept getting oily real fast too.
Thank you for the reply.
Are you on any supplements for the anemia? I have a bad iron deficiency and have been taking liquid iron in an herbal base from the health food store for about a month, I hope it works. I hope your health improves again and you feel better soon.
Thank you for an informative... non click bait... actual worth while video! So RARE.

What is ole water.

When trying to hydrate, adding 1/8 of a teaspoon of baking soda to a bottle of water makes it alkaline. Also eating juicy fruits & vegetables is also very helpful in hydration. Bottled water & tap water can actually cause me to feel more dehydrated...

Seborrheic dermatitis, mine will bleed at times. I use the shampoo Nizoral, it's about $14, but works wonders. Head and shoulders does not help me as much.
@@marianna1513 does it bleed by it self or by itching it?
How to treat seborrheic dermatitis:
1) Decrease the number of bad bacteria in the gut by stop consuming sugar and flour products (cookies, biscuits, pasta, etc.), especially in the first month.
Before buying any probiotic supplement check the quality first labdoor.com/rankings/probiotics
4) Fix the ratio between omega 6 and omega 3 in your body (you should make a blood test, you want the ratio to be about 4:1, the average person has too many omega 6, the average ratio is about 10:1!).
If you want to improve your health, I've written a short book that can help you www.amazon.com/Medicines-Better-Life-Dennis-Gjika-ebook/dp/B08539J4WK/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=gjika&qid=1618941111&sr=8-3

Do you have Seborrheic Dermatitis?
I believe so! I haven't been to the dermatologist in awhile, but I definitely struggled with dandruff, itchy scalp, and greasy/waxy sections because my scalp produces more oil than normal. Something that started in my early twenties.. I don't remember dealing w/ this when I was younger. But I've been managing it since I changed my hair care routine- I'll have flare-ups occasionally, but it's much better than it was!
Correct video. I am in so doubtful position thinking which of these conditions has affected me? And im almost fed up of it.😓
I had thick straight hair (oily scalp) which I was complimented for.
Don't worry use ayyapala kerathailam kottakal it is an indian product and use.eladi choornam and thriphaladi choornam
Not sure if i have dandruff or that sehborric thing
But it gets worse if i put conditioner on my scalp, but it doesn't itch....
@@kyshawntv6285 literally the same problem as me
Just wanna remind people that dandruff is normal, everyone has it including people who keep their hair healthy
All thanks to (dr osuma) on RUclips who recently helped me with his potential herbs in getting rid of SKIN PSORIASIS &, HSV 2 ,which almost got me lifeless ""
Definitely had seborrheic dermatitis on my face and scalp along with dandruff in my mid 20s
Pls how did u get rid of it
@@immaculatapopnwin8415 I used moisturizers for oily skin everyday. Anything that was mattifying and absorbed extra oil/sebum. Once that starts to calm I would also would use a non irritating vitamin c serum.
I would love to hear the detailed research (or at least direct us to your source of knowledge) on the cons of castor oil on the scalp.
This is the video that I really needed, straight to the point of what I was searching for and learned so much. I know now what my condition is and further more what to use.. So for that thank you, thank you so much.
Just like you said there are lot of we naturalista with Type 4c that have this believe having a dry scalp which is so true, i happen to be a victim so i must try out this process using the tea tree oil + shampoo cos i feel shampoo makes my hair hard. i rather Prepoo and D.C.
thanks for this information
Thank you so much for this information and tips. by the way, Your hair looks very healthy!🙏🙏🙏
Hate dermatitis, gonna have to be bald the rest of my life when I have great hair
That hot oil treatment is a life saver fr
Very well broken down and explained. Thank you.
2:50 it might officially be a mystery but I have this due to lack of neutrophils which are the white blood cells that normally will combat fungus and bad bacteria.
Very informative, and explained to perfection. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks so much. I never knew the difference. Now I know exactly what I have. 🙏🏽
So if you have s dry itchy scalp you shouldn't put oil on your scalp? Does that include the hot oil treatment??
Yes i have dry scalp and i tried drinking more water and the condition is so much better
“It has not returned.. I followed #dragbonifo procedure … took my vitamins… stopped smoking…. Reduced alcohol and sugar…I also drank the Herbal mixture of #dragbonifo and it disappeared in 1 month… has not returned… I swear it… over the counter medication and surgery won’t help in the long run… finally it also helps to know your status.
I’m still kinda confused on what I have, every time I wash my hair and after dry it it gets dry my scalp is really flaky and dry and after a day it’s gets greasy/oily and really itchy I have some patches on my neck also don’t know if it’s dry skin or dandruff
Xinrui same thing happen with me ..any answer?
The same happens to me, i didn’t think anyone else experienced this. It’s very confusing. Its nice to know I’m not the only one. I think mine is psoriasis though because it runs in my family. I have noticed just recently that I sometimes get a rash on my arm. Have you seen a dermatologist? I have an appointment coming up with mine soon that can hopefully give me some answers.
Try T-Gel shampoo
I should also mention that I drink a lot, so I know it's not water intake.
Also I forgot to ask, would wearing silk scarves/bonnets help me or hinder me?
What if you have dry scalp and dandruff
i honestly don’t know if i have dry scalp or dandruff
Dry scalp is when your scalp has a lot of tiny flakes which are over your clothes, head and hair. Dandruff is more serious and usually it's hard to remove it.
I'm a dry hair, if i use tea tree oil, so what about Apple Cinder vinega??? Should i use it too??? And how can i use both them in the same time??? Please told me.
I'm glad to hear that. I strongly recommend against that practice
