How cool is it that the original voice actor for Sutekh came back for this?! At 91 years old too! What a legend!
Its super cool! I was hoping he'd return if the theories of it being Sutekh were true. Theory came to fruition as did wish for Gabriel Woolf to return with his iconic voice. 😎😎

Assuming that this is the one who waits, while I’m sure this is the case too. But If the doctor survives and can stop Sutekh even if not defeating him. To then find out that there’s someone even more sinister lurking In the shadows still could be very interesting indeed.

This won't be easy but one thing that we know about these gods is that they're bound by certain rules and their weakness is in that.
The Trickster: can only act and manifest by making a deal with someone. That person breaks the deal and he's banished.
The Toymaker: bound by the rules of fair play.
Maestro: bound by musical rules.
They've just gotta figure out what rules applies to Sutekh.
The growl the TARDIS makes is secretly not Sutekh, but the TARDIS crying, because it's hurting. Poor thing. Hope she ends up okay.

There's always a twist at the end...
I honestly thought Sutekh was a one off villain, not because I didn’t want him back, or thought he could come back, but because I genuinely NEVER expected him to come back!

Mrs. Flood and Cherry are probably Isis and Osiris. When we first meet Cherry she said something like "we 3 goddess' of the sky up here in attic". Ruby is probably Horus. RUby Sunday. Or the doctor and Co represent that. Mrs. Flood could also be Mehet Weret, which means Great Flood. Easily one of the best episodes in the show’s 60 year history. Russell T Davies you beautiful legend.
The harbinger has the Tardis! Lol
In the original 1975 Sutekh episode he tried to use the Tardis to escape his prison and send his minions to get it (he was imprisoned by other gods like Horus). Doctor tricked him though. Just like he tricked Toymaker back in 1960s ;)

@@lucasparadox6823 The Time Beetle belonged to the Trickster, another member of the Pantheon. Particularly nasty bad guy.
We're so back
I know in the old series, the doctor was not able to defeat sutekh properly
The Doctor defeated Sutekh by flinging him off to the far future in a time loop. Beat him by the skin of his teeth too.
On a separate note, as the Tardis has been split in two by the Doctor does that mean there are actually 2 Setekhs and 2 fobs that have the Doctor's old memories that they got from Tecteun?
So apparently TARDIS of 15 Doctor is like a future version of the original TARDIS, that 14 has right now. Just like 15 himself is the future of 14 Doctor.
Best episode of the series reminded me of the suspence we use used to get in the old series we want more unit

#4 on trending let's goooooo
The Doctor's granddaughter Susan has been mentioned so many times now I'm hoping Carol Ann Ford makes an appearance.
Wouldn’t make sense if she did
Maybe she will pop up in a cameo (i.e the Doctor decides to go visit her after prodding from Ruby or whoever).
@@HappyBob701 How would it not make sense? They've been referencing Susan constantly recently and Carol Ann Ford herself clearly still loves the show, and she's getting on years, now is probably the best time they have to record either an ending or a passing of the baton for Susan while paying homage to the original.
@@HappyBob701 Makes more sense to use Romana.
I'd like to have a new Romana and just have a season SEARCHING for the doctor.... with side stories of the 14th doctor... just doing Travel videos with Donna.
I think It’s Mrs Flood.
I think Carol Ann Ford is going to make an appearance and I will be kicking and screaming if she does 😭. One of the best episodes of doctor who. Thank you RTD
If she’s somehow Ruby’s mother, that would be wild. Though I expect they’re setting up Mrs. Flood to be Susan, given she knows what a TARDIS is, and hasn’t seen one since the 60’s.
Carole Ann Ford deserves at least one last appearance as Susan in the main show like William Russell as Ian. To not pay off the speech at the end of The dalek invasion of earth, while she’s alive and able to reprise her role for me would be criminal. As a massive fan of the Audios I’m aware they’ve done this return but I’d love to see it on the screen
My theory is she’s gonna be in the Christmas special
I think she will be at very end of episode as in the doctor goes back she may roll over to Christmas special but it might just be a cameo at end of this episode
@@mrcritical6751 I’ve felt that to and actually commented it earlier as I think she has been mentioned so much that to not pay it off is just a waste of time and also for fans who have seen the classic era of the show to pay off the return is something they just should do on screen. The audio with her and the 8th Doctor is phenomenal but so many people miss as it’s audio so it has to happen on screen. Also if she was to return at Christmas it would be 60 years since the episode ended with the first Doctor giving his iconic I will come back speech. Her last appearance as Susan full time was 26th December 1964. So for me with Carole Ann Ford still alive and well she has to return as Susan at least once as if Susan returns in the future played by someone else wouldn’t be as impactful to pay off the end speech from the Doctor. Susan’s return to show her happy and healthy will also reinforce that the Doctor isn’t all chaos and devastation. It will prove that leaving her to live her own life was the best thing for her and to see her happy would show the Doctor he isn’t some massive failure. Could be epic

The fact that Sutehk is latched to the TARDIS is what is scaring me. Does this mean we have to say goodbye to the duplicate TARDIS? 14s would be the only one left in existence at that point meaning that he has to say goodbye to it. So many questions just about the TARDIS that I just cant fit into my head. The only other one I can ask is, What happens to the most iconic companion and time traveling machine in all of existence.
For those unsure, the character in the TARDIS is Harriet, the Harbinger of Sutekh. As of yet David Tennant isn't confirmed to appear which personally I hope he doesn't. His story reached a satisfying conclusion and the finale has more than enough to focus on for him to hijack it for cheap fan service. If he has to come back, they should at least wait a couple of years, it's far too soon after the 60th.
Keeping Tennant around just always felt like a fallback for a cheap ratings spike. I love Tennant but having him here undermines Ncuti greatly.

Holy hell this looks amazing wow.
The first part of the finale was BLOODY AMAZING.. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤
It was? All I saw was 45 mins trying to reconstruct a VHS
The 14th doctor in the beginning could've been turned into a toy by the toymaker
That isn't the 14th Doctor. It's Harriet Arbinger from last week's episode
"I am the terror that flaps in the night..."
“ I will stop you! “
I can't wait... can't wait... can't wait..!
0:10 looks absolutely POPPIN' with that Dune look.
Looks more like "The Mummy" CGI effects were borrowed...
@@spiralx6249 how could you possibly compare this to the mummy lmao what
Looks nothing like Dune
I get more lion king vibes😂
Oh No Sutekh last of the orisans and the destroyer is back!😱
