Before someone inevitably asks _"does it work in Streamlabs OBS"_ , it usually takes the Streamlabs team about 3-4 weeks to bring the OBS Studio updates into Streamlabs OBS 👍
I’m confused how anybody can click the dislike button for a video that literally provides a source of free information about something that people are actually searching for. Good healthy and helpful video buddy.
Someone could make a video where every single person that likes it gets $1,000,000....and there would still be people that dislike it 😅. I’ve accepted that.
I really love the source toolbar. Didn't pay attention to it when the update came out, but I casually experienced it a couple of days ago when I started streaming again (Fall Guys gameplay), was easy to use, user friendly, helped me with some strange errors that happened during the stream (a black screen shown on Twitch that only I could see, apparently my 2 viewers were able to see the streaming normally).
That noise suppression one is amazing. SO AMAZING. My mechanical gaming keyboard sounds are just gone. I was thinking of going quieter, although I love how mine feels....
Thanks for putting this out there; as someone starting to stream as a hobby, you really help add a lot of polish and shine to my content, and make it fun to do in my spare time.

I was thinking about in writing a program do do that for OBS. What is funny is that undo is one of the most simple things to code in any software dev. But, windows has a great UNDO that it might work with OBS. Try it! You setup a portable hard-drive to undo anything in windows, even versions of what you do inside a software. But that is not good enough. You may ask how hard is to add undo to OBS? not hard at all! Like: var arrayRAM:profile = dataProfile[i]; done! So, when make any mistakes or want to go back to whatever you want, you just go back [i] array count, each "i" is a profile, meaning that it will remember every settings you do. For now, you can do this to act like a UNDO. Make a Profile back up. Do your changes, if you like what you have done, save that Profile like this: RUclipsProfile_4k_101620_001 (Platform, 4k streaming, date and number of UNDO. got it? Another solution to automate this is by using a software to safe the steps automatically. like (Control+S) and (Control+u) with Autohotkey like software. Just like we do in Photoshop in the Action panel. You create a action with autohotkey for saving the profile, closing it, and opening the previews version of saved profiles in millisecond.
I’m so glad I’m subbed to you and made the switch to OBS from SLOBS, i wasn’t able to stream Sea of Thieves anymore cuz the NVIDIA Noise Suppression along with the game and stream with chew up my GFX card and make my audio all crackly on stream/discord, hopefully the RNNoise Filter will fix that!!!
My favourite feature that i have been waiting for so long is the toolbar for VLC Sources, because now you can track when your video will end, you can play/pause it etc.

The recent update was a tad screwy for me. My microphone that I have always been using had to be changed from using ‘audio input source: sennheiser mic’ to just using the ‘audio source: ‘mic’, under audio input sources. Also had to (re)tick the channel 1~ box for it to be heard on stream.
You are the smartest person I can think of when it comes to OBS. If you don't mind I'd like to ask. I can only stream 2 streams to RUclips. Anything more when I click on go-live I get taken to my 2nd stream, (I might add I am streaming my first stream direct from XSplit Broadcaster). My 2nd stream is using a Key through OBS Studio Version 26.x.x Could I be missing a setting somewhere that is stopping me from getting a 3rd stream key?
My favorite feature is rnnoise, I wanted to get a new nvenc encoder graphics card so I could skip all the audio work and hard stuffs, now with rrnnoise its reduce my background noise quite a bit so that's awesome!
I love learning new stuff about OBS. Due to its capabilities, the program has a high learning curve. I didn’t think it was free at first, and thus started out using the free version of Xsplit. I tell all of you now, avoid Xsplit because it is extremely problematic. A huge number of key features are locked behind a paywall, and it can mess with you in-game controls when active. It made recording for World in Conflict difficult because it monked up certain controls. Namely it would always cause a double click and made your bookmark hot keys not work. OBS gave me zero issues. And it’s free. It’s freeware.
RNNoise is very helpful. But I'm having a problem where if I scream, for example horror game. My voice gets cut off? Even softly words when talking? HOW DO I FIX THIS?
2 questions for you. 1 - should I be recording in the .mkv file format or with .mp4? 2 - I've been trying to add a stream offline image to my channel. I've gone into the settings and uploaded an image but nearly 3 days later it's still not showing up. Any thoughts or suggestions?

with the latest version (builtin virtualcam) + the recent patch, I've never had OBS crash as much as it does now.. It's still pretty good and I use it every day for all sorts of things like livesvtreaming, recording for later editing and using it as a virtual webcam for better sharing options for conference tools (jitsi).. but after the recent updates, I get some weird crashes sometimes when I try to switch scene collectionsm which wasn't an issue before.. fortunately I don't need to switch between scene collections when streaming etc, but still.. Regarding the virtual camera, I still prefer using the plugin-version as the integration is better when using OBS with things like jitsi (probably also skype etc), but both work side by side, so now you can push out 5 virtual cameras (I can't imagine more than one use.. maybe a setup where one guest needs to get a different virtual view than guest 2 etc..).
PS: remember to check recording settings after updating, as a setting regarding keyframes(?) in the recording output files was disabled for me after updating, which lead to an ackward situation when editing some clips on my phone :) )

I’m trying to upgrade my PCs motherboard and processor, I was wondering what you’d recommend that’s somewhat budget friendly, but could also be used to game at Med-high setting AND stream at 720 Down scaled from 1080p resolution? I was thinking maybe a b450 with a ryzen 7200x? In USA Btw
@@CreeperSlenderman I had a ryzen 5 1600 and a gtx1660 it was a decent combo but I went to an i7 7700 and an extra 580 8gig and it was actually a downgrade for streaming but upgrade to FPS. I guess cause it’s not got the encoder.
The Source Toolbar is a godsend. It saves so much time if you need to fiddle with something on stream or want to save time with changing settings. Definitely the best change!
i just wish they would have a feature where you can see if you're recording while in game without having to minimize to check. i lost an entire video because i hit stop instead of pause by mistake. Shadowplay at least has a little green dot that you can put at the top of the screen that isn't actually recorded, so you can easily check at a glance. not sure why OBS can't do that
Thank you for the whole tricks....BUT how to avoid latences with audios when we make a scene in OBS and then use it as video in ZOOM ? There is at least 1 sec delay beetween audio and video...I'm using a nikon reflex and a roland R26 for capting the audio ( i'm musician)...The scene is complete and beautifull + transitions but in ZOOM unsable...😢An advice? I know this isn't your niche of concern, but can you help me out on setting up both microphone and powerpoint sounds in google meet. what are the settings or devices that should be input in the audio mixer? do I need to install the VB cables aside from the virtual camera. I hope this gets noticed. I have been searching for tutorials about it . Only my microphone gets heard when I try to present at the same time my powerpoint with sounds for my kids.

Can obs stream my iPhone XS camera to my iPad without a PC or a Mac so that zoom will see the iPhone camera as a camera option on my iPad hosting a zoom meeting? I want to get this ability down to using only iPhone, iPad, and a nice microphone for complete and easy mobility. Cords between the items are fine, even using features of usb C. I do not want to use a PC, Mac, or a Linux PC. For computers I only want to use the iPad and IPhone.
Another great video and well explained, keep up the great work mate! I've been having issues in OBS where sometimes it will crash/freeze and the kbps will drop to 0 when this happens. At first I thought it was my internet connection being slow but I've been recently streaming with a much faster stable connection with the frame box constantly green (no frame drops) and the problems still sometimes persist. Anyone know a reason why this happens?

ive been having issues with window capture on a browser lately; now i have to change the window on every scene or else my window capture source just doesnt appear. its really annoying. the window capture also has been going black on my preview window until i alt tab back to that window. unsure if these are incompatibility issues with streamelements & OBS.Live or just a bug in the new obs version

I agree, probably the one feature from Streamlabs OBS that I'd love to see in OBS Studio!
But it's not that much a handicap, when it offers same things in various ways, unlike SLOBS.

My favorite would be the virtual camera and the better lut, because i use a camera with a lut for my webcam

or if you want an even better noise suppression, use Reaper plug-ins which you can apply to a looping media source for fine tweaking :)

Great update! Is there any way to get my OBS Studio audio as a mic on zoom/skype/meet by using a plugin or something else?
ive been having issues with window capture on a browser lately; now i have to change the window on every scene or else my window capture source just doesnt appear. its really annoying. the window capture also has been going black on my preview window until i alt tab back to that window. unsure if these are incompatibility issues with streamelements & OBS.Live or just a bug in the new obs version
