Can you make a full video about on how to not have the lights reflecting on the glasses? You seem to master this feature, I use glasses and I constantly battle with eye glasses shadow, camera position and the light or the computer reflecting on my eye glasses. Please and Thank you

Originally I just set a media source in OBS and selected the files for my scenes in Streamlabs, set it on loop and boom. Now this just makes it a lot easier!
2:50 God tier tip, I really like being able to use the SLOBS scenes for like one time events I do with my friends like LAN parties and this would be super awesome to use!

This really helped tremendously. I have the C922x, but I had the settings in configure video set at 1080x720. Once I changed it to 1920x1080, my picture quality improved. I downloaded Logitech Capture before but I was using it wrong. Had to set OBS camera settings back to default in order for Logitech to wotk. Thanks again!
its nice to see OBS fiannly taking steps to get to the same sort of point of streamlabs.. as since streamlabs are more focused on prime membership think people will start switching over to OBS more soon
Funny thing. I don't make live videos but I've found OBS is the best option for me to screen capture for my software tutorials. So really the recent update that excited me was the pause button while video recording and I still think that needs improving. It's hard to tell whether the button is clicked on or off.

How does the replay buffer work? Now that replay buffers can be saved, can it be saved with a hot key to work like a twitch Clip? Can the replay buffer be used if you are live streaming/ recording at the same time?

I get just as much FPS ingame in rainbow six siege using display capture over vulkan capture, so there's little point in using the vulkan capture. Especially if you tab out the screen goes black with vulkan.
I just hope they add an audio alert or popup when you use a short key to disable your recording or stream so you properly confirm that it is disabled. Also a close to background option.
You can also now pause and play video, and audio sources, while they are playing, rather than just being able to turn them on and off. It's only available as a hotkey setting at the moment but, they sound like they might add another way to do so, possibly with a right click within the sources listed or something.
technically some games after OBS update stutters. Also, it increase crunch on CPU. I don't know if it is just mine experience or others too... However, it gives more what I need in RECORDING.
I wish they would have added something to properly save the settings for webcam's like those of Logitech. Even for the "Streamcam" it doesnt save the auto settings for white balancing, auto focus etc. You always need to disable all those after starting OBS for the first time, which is quite annoying :-(
Good stuff. I would looooooooove to see midi controllers able to do some proper changes, with it baked in. Such as for changing scenes, but also to change the opacity of layers with rotary dials and things.
Oh and further to that, you will find a lot of churches now starting to use OBS to stream their services, in the wake of the COVID-19. It's not just for gamers now.

I noticed that when I'm streaming sometimes and very randomly the stream stops , like it's no longer "connected" even though it is , and I noticed that my kbps chart is null, so I close obs even thought it's still running on the background so I gotta force close it through task manager , reopen and start the streaming all over. It's a really weird glitch to say the least.
I'm trying to get my Panasonic DMC-FZ300 connected as an OBS video source. All I want to capture is whatever 4K format my camera sends at 30Hz. I don't need passthrough or higher frame rates, but I do want a quality product. My budget is limited (hence repurposing my FZ), so I don't want to pay for features I don't need like passthrough, breakouts, etc. Would you kindly suggest a capture device that meets my needs?

I found that if I wanted to have the hot key for resetting the status panel in OBS to work properly with my Elgato Stream Deck was to have the Elgato software run with Admin privileges and OBS as admin otherwise the hot key on the stream deck was not passing it through properly to OBS.
Thank you for this helpful video ! Anybody knows how to toggle on/off vst in the audio filters ? I use the same computer for 2 different setup and everytime i have to delete all the plugins and reopen them the next time it's very time consuming. Also the filters are common to all the scenes so impossible to make 2 different scenes with different vsts...
So because I had issues with OBS, I figured rather than update it would be best to completely uninstall and clear user files (I made sure to check the box for removing those on the uninstaller), and install it fresh, yet when I installed it it still has all my settings/scenes etc .. Any idea how to fix this? I got issues with various on games on V24 and just wanted a complete fresh install
It's good and i'm willing to switch back to OBS Studio seeing all these features but when I imported all my scenes from Streamlabs, it removed the "folder" I created (for my webcam + overlay webcam for example or the folder "game" where I have all game capture source) ... is that normal ? :(
Did they also include an automatic scene switcher in the mac version? I'm still on a early 24.0.2 version because the scene switcher plugin didn't work in newer versions.
Entirely up to you. Imo SLOBS is better because you have many options that OBS simply won't. For example w/ SLOBS there is a theme store so if you want overlays for your stream, MANY of which are free to use and can be immediately setup with the press of two buttons (Install, add to theme, BOOM it's your new overlay). That is something that OBS doesn't have and would require you to download them, set them up through sources and so on and so on. If you would like to, you can pay for SLOBS prime which gives you access to exclusive clothing products in your own SLOBS store (something that OBS also does NOT have). There is more that SLOBS provides for streamers but I won't go on as I already sound like an ad placement. But as you can see, SLOBS gives streamers quite a lot to work with while OBS is the more simplified form of it (although OBS did come first). But really it's up to you, I always had issues with OBS Studio no matter what I did so I immediately switched to SLOBS and have NEVER EVER thought of going back. So I can't say much about OBS tbh, it really is just the simplified form of SLOBS imo.

my game capture stop working after the update. Only saw a black preview on my OBS, so I change back 24.0.3.
