Hey Johnny. Did you get your set up going? I would be interested to know how it is working out. I am a teacher as well. Thinking about the future if we are constantly going back and forth to remote learning. Cheers.
HOW you explained this was perfect. You included all the little details that most streamers already know and forget to include in videos for newbies. I appreciate the work you put into this! Thank you!
It's not only difficult to find half-decent tutorials on streaming. It's nearly impossible to find a creator who doesn't bore you to death by the end of it. I always find these engaging, helpful and entertaining. It helps that you can tell he's genuinely excited to help out new streamers and teach them some tricks of the trade. Alpha is like what Peter McKinnon did for photography tutorials. Thanks man!
i literally started streaming a couple of days ago without having watched this first. Shame on me. Now I can make things even cleaner and be more confident about what I'm doing. Bless you Harris.
I started streaming 2 days ago and watched some videos before i started. Its helped a lot and i had a stream with 10 viewers at one point last night. Such a great feeling!
I just need to say one thing Harris, you are a shining light in the community of streamers. You, and a SMALL handful of others, go out of your way to assist people and welcome them into this space. I hope others will follow the example you have set.
I've watched countless hours and videos about how to setup your OBS for streaming on twitch and whatnot and your video is the most high in detail, simplifying overcomplicated settings and tools while being able to deeply explain everything in full detail. Also showing what you use and where to get them is like icing on the cake. You're a true G and as soon as I wake up tmrw, hopefully, my next stream is gonna go from just a plain gameplay screen to a full out near professional stream, thank you
I know you mainly talk about how to improve as a streamer, but your stuff is also really helping in the RUclips space, trying my hand at it, we’ll see how it goes
Yeah man, the only thing you absolutely need is to not give up, the gear will come with time, I believe in you, who else is getting on the ground floor with this guy?
Out of all the obs videos for beginners, this has been the best one I’ve watched. Finally getting my pc built, and streaming on twitch, I needed to know how obs works. You explained it so well for me to understand
OBS is fantastic and it helped A LOT in our remote teaching regime during C19 thing. We could stream from laboratory directly in a multicam set-up, without the need to prepare videos in advance, saving time on recording, editing and rendering. We fed 3 cams and screen capture in various scene configurations and used virtual cam as an input for MS Teams. Worked like a charm. 100% live interaction with students.

Love this. Thank you for the help. One clarification - 14:13 for the decibel (dB) scale, the power output is doubled or halved every +-3dB. Every +-6dB is doubling or halving of voltage or Sound Pressure Level (SPL). Because human loudness “perception” is logarithmic (like the dB scale), perceived volume doubles or halves for every +-10dB. Yes, I’m an audio 🤓. Thanks again for the great video.
