      I looked at the ones you suggested and ended up finding another app called "StreamControl - Remote for OBS & Streamlabs OBS" which I am now using as it basically set itself up with everything you need.
      play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.t4ils.obs_remote&hl=en_US
      Sadly there doesn't seem to be an iPhone version of it though which would have been handy as I have my iPhone on my computer desk these days.
      I had a look at StreamLabs OBS and the remote app for it. But in my opinion StreamLabs is all about making money from Scene Themes
      , Widget Themes, and Site Themes as to get anything decent you have to sign up to Prime which isn't affordable for everyone. The Site Themes option is a great idea but again Prime is not an affordable option for everyone.
      So I went back to StreamElements which I think is much easier to use and has a lot more free content and when bundled with the StreamControl app life is so much easier now. Hopefully in the future StreamElements will incorporate a Site Theme option.
      Unless someone knows of a program to incorporate your streams and past streams etc into a webpage?
      I also downloaded DeckBoard but haven't tried it out yet. But I will. But from what I have seen and used of StreamControl I am more than happy with that.

      Yup, started using deckboard a couple of weeks ago as I get used to upping my presentation production quality with OBS Studio and they seem to now have shading to indicate active buttons. Works great on an old touchscreen chromebook running the Android app to serve as a permanent tablet sized screen for the app for me.

    If you did an update on this, touch portal can do literally everything the streamdeck can now and more. And it has a back page button to go to previous page, or a button for home page, and gif support, full custom icons, backgrounds, text. You can even set up a clock or hardware monitoring. And you can have external plugins to do even more that they haven't integrated. And if it doesn't have something, you can use it to run any application or powershell script etc.

I could go wild with macro's... but I just started streaming and am not even using the 32 keys..

    StreamLabs OBS Remote has been updated since the release of your video, you can add/remove buttons, use the Studio mode, zoom in/out so you can see all or just some buttons. See the events, chat and share on social media.

    • @PinkHusky433
      @PinkHusky433 3 года назад

      @w4xt3r First of all, you have to use StreamLabs OBS, which is a good starting point for new streamers, since it is quite user-friendly. Two things I liked was the "Studio Mode", where you can see you current scene and the next scene that you want to queue in and just tap transition. Other apps may not have this feature, they mostly just show the current or the next scene until you double-tap the latter. Audio control is easy in StreamLabs OBS Remote, basically controlling volume in StreamLabs OBS. So overall, good for starting streamers or those who don't have an audio mixing device, such as the GoXLR. Once you are comfy enough with StreamLabs OBS, you may want to dapple with OBS-Live, since it is a little bit more open, especially with all the available plugins, but then StreamLabs OBS Remote becomes moot. I wish that OBSSD would be a little bit more like StreamLabs OBS Remote, because it is easier to use and gives you a clearer vision overall.

    Great comparison breakdowns, nutty.
    But, I'm mostly interested in selecting/controlling different screens of Reaper's DAW for controlling MIDI tracks and Master Busses for laser imagery.
    So, I'm ready to pull the trigger on Stream Deck XL, which has been demonstrated by Reaper Blog.
    Also don't own an iPad, but would prefer using a 10" mult-itouch RPi surface. Touch Portal looks interesting, but I've also seen TouchOSC, which seems to provide support for MIDI, OSC, and Video.
    So, I'm thinking of TouchOSC for sliders one the 10" RPi touch surface + Stream Deck XL for controlling Reaper presets on the Winblows' 15" touch monitor, with the Akai ACP40 MIDI surface (upgradeable to Behringer's X-Touch).🤩
