EXTREME DRESSER MAKEOVER- mid century with an Industrial Feel | FURNITURE FLIP

  • This video almost never happened! I didn't know if I was going to be able to save these ones. I had to resort to some drastic cleaning methods (that I do NOT recommend you try unless you know for sure what you're dealing with)- this was a last resort for getting these clean.
Two days of work though, and these two pieces are unrecognizable from their former selves, and two more are spared from the landfill (which they likely would have been headed to, if I hadn't taken them on)!

I just had to replay the end of this video to look at the end result again. I can honestly say that after watching about 10 different furniture flipping channels for two years these are my very favorite pieces. The wood finish with the mat black and great hardware make these pieces really stand out. Just gorgeous.

I'm sure you buy these, haha!! I say it every time, you are simply amazing, I bow down to you...Seriously, you get me every single time!! How you make the pieces come alive again, the wood, doesn't even look like it has the possibilities, of turning out like it does!!! The whole piece, doesn't even look, worth, trying to save!! Fabulous!!!!
I was suggested another restorer's video at the weekend, all I kept saying was, "Angie wouldn't do it like that, OMG, Angie wouldn't do this haha" They kept filthy, full of fluff, well you'll know, pads on the feet of the pieces of furniture, then painted the legs, fluff and all........my pooch Harold, just looked at me concerned lol
So, yes, you are the best!! much loves, Jacq u.k

Gorgeous recovery on those dressers...and I think the different grains really highlight the fact that all woods have their own personalities..

Wow. What an absolutely stunning result. The contrast between the delicately toned and figured wood and the solid black is fabulous. The pair of them look like something you'd have to pay thousands for in some glossy home beautiful magazine. Very impressive, even more so when you think what you had to begin with. Brava.

Another very successful resuscitation of two dressers! They came out stunning!
I know you warned us, but I'm still surprised by how light the drawers turned out with that dark stain.

All I can say is - WOW!! This has to be one of your most spectacular flips. They are just perfect. Leaving the grain visible makes a powerful statement. Love, love, LOVE it.

These came out AMAZING! I typically hate when people paint wood furniture, but there was no rescuing these pieces without it, and they came out stunning! Excellent job!!

I am in AWE of these pieces! I love the two-tone, black and lighter wood! One of my favorite looks. These might be one of my favorite restores that you’ve done! You definitely stand above all the others! Please keep doing what you’re doing. You are just an amazing person all the way around! Lots of love.❤
