You really took yourself out of your comfort zone for the anthropologie dupe and your perseverance paid off. That and the colour block piece are my favourites.
There is a distinct difference between end tables and night stands that many people don't seem to know about. End tables are deep ↕️ like a sofa is front to back. Nightstands are often wide ↔️ with a shallow depth to leave more room to get into bed. You can of course use them for either but if you find the setup feeling off, this is why. Beautiful work!

Funny how you say you aren’t “artistic “ when it came to the anthropology dupe, but that’s the most untrue statement ever. The whole thing you’re doing here with furniture is ART. You’re EXTREMELY artistic. It’s beautiful.

Fun content. Thank you. I am a career carpenter over forty years. I would like to gently suggest you make a proper jig for the more than 45 degree cuts on the miter saw. They are very easy and fast to make. Not as easy as hurting yourself or damaging the piece. Just a thought.

Love your choices on all of your projects! A warning about using wax on the INSIDE of drawers - it can come off on your clothes (if you're using the cabinet for clothing). I would never put wax "inside" of any drawer or unit. When it gets warm out - it melts/sweats. I wouldn't "oil" the drawers either - I would only use a verathane top coat product - easy to wipe down & maintain & safe against fabric. I spent a lot of time learning about different kinds of furniture wax from antique dealers/restoration experts in Europe when we lived there. Many furniture wax compounds contain oil & solvents! Another tip when using wax - there are brushes you can attach to your power drill to buff wax. You'd be amazed that they work - you'd think they'd scratch it all off, because the bristles are quite stiff, but they don't! :) Again - the antique restoration experts I learned from in Europe ALL used the brushes to buff the wax - it's great for getting into hand-carved wood & turned wood, and bring flat surfaces to a BRILLIANT shine.

Hi, I thought this video was great, I loved that there wasn't a lot of unnecessary talking. I was very impressed with the way you tackled removing the scalloping and other decorative things and then added modern feet. I really don't like modern but I realized that that is the look of the day and if I left a piece looking original it would look out of place, thank you for doing that.
