Hey Jesse and Bruce. Good video on the 10% E issue. My current questions are; First, Being that I have stored my sled with 91 octane, (full tank), Should I put a couple ounces of the additive in the tank and run it in NON-Ethanol mode? Second, If I'm down to half a tank of 91 NON E, and have to fill up with 10% E fuel, should I put an ounce of additive in and run it in E mode? Third, IF I run my 850 in Ethanol mode all the time, whether or not I'm running 10% E or 91 NON E, what are the risks? The performance/mileage may suffer based on your video comments. Fourth, Next Spring when I go to store my sled, Should I top off the tank with 10% E, because that's what the recall says, OR should I totally drain the tank, leave the cap loose and fill it up again before starting it next Fall? (I've done this for decades with no issues.) Another factor to consider is, Ethanol fuel phase separation. In humid conditions of summer storage, the full tank could end up with a puddle of water in the bottom. No amount of additives with help blend the water back into 10% E fuel. Might as well drain the tank and use it up in my car. There are still a lot of variables to consider. Sorry for all the added confusion in the questions, but Polaris riders need to know.
